Beautiful zoo, exchanged stays for the animals, some very nice and spacious, others clearly to modernization

Ouwehands visited during sinterklaas. The park was disappointing but the number of people walking through the park was enormous. There was something fun to do everywhere. It was nice to see the pandas but otherwise it was certainly not worth it. A tip for the indoor playground, take dry clothes with you !!!

Beautiful zoo! Nice stays for the animals. It was pretty quiet and therefore many eateries close, too bad!

A small but nice zoo for family. Many play areas for children. At present, some (new) animal enclosures are being built here and there. Animals themselves have plenty of room.

Ouwehands Zoo is a beautifully landscaped, classic zoo, which has been equipped with modern accommodations over time. The latest addition is that for the two giant pandas rented from China, which have been laid out entirely in the style of a Chinese temple. The large enclosure for the gorillas is a bit older, but also spacious and beautiful. Throughout the park there are plenty of opportunities to play, eat and drink.

Amazing zoo... so much different but in the right way. And they have the giant pandas....

Superb ... I love all the zoos ... especially with the kids, they are fascinated every time. That in itself really is a great zoo. Lots of food should be taken at home.

Enclosures were sometimes a bit small, otherwise very nice. Especially the pandas.

Nice and quiet because of the cold snowy weather but it gave me chance to see everything, loved the new pandas!

As always, very cozy. Ouwehands is and remains a fine zoo where animals have space and are well cared for.

Very creative design especially for children's play areas which they have loads of. They've built some cages in a way that gets humans as close to them as possible. Yesterday, though, there were very few animals in sight, those who were were asleep. I've been here before and I remember seeing a lot more animals a lot more active. Seeing very few yesterday made me worried, did they all die out? The aquarium is in need of an update and an upgrade. There were cages that could've been cleaned better, but I guess they're understaffed because of the recent lockdown. The food was pretty good, though, by zoo standards. The highlight is obviously the grand Chinese palace where the pandas live. I would still recommend visiting it especially with your children, the zoos need all the support it can get to bounce back. The train ride was beautiful too, that part of the Netherlands is very green and you begin to see some variety in the terrain. A few of good restaurants right outside the zoo, including a rather well visited and surprisingly large Chinese buffet restaurant.

Great friendly animal park. Perfect for an afternoon and small enough to see everything while you're there. Very much quality over quantity and fantastic for the little ones!

Nice zoo, not super big or very special. (Except pandas, but you just want to see them)

Beautiful park to spend a day. Neat and well kept. Do not miss some interaction with the visitors and do not miss some catering like with gaia, emmen and beekse bergen. Also in the late season is a swirl or slushpuppie nice between. The pandas were unique, Wu Wen is a bit stuck with me, beautiful. Also a compliment for your caretakers, all animals look well cared for and they are also very active. And that's what I think is most important.

Cozy, not too large animal park with the highlights of course the special panda bears Wu Wen and Xing Ya in their beautiful residence.

Mooi nieuw panda verblijf. Maar het onderhoud van andere zaken blijft toch wat achter. (horeca)personeel lijkt niet goed opgeleid en is langzaam.

Slightly outdated zoo. Does swinters look a bit empty.

A beautiful zoo! Nice to go even in December. The panda enclosure with pandas is very nicely set up. With as if you are walking in China! In addition to the pandas, there are also plenty of other animals to admire

Great zoo and animals. Can get lots of exercise walking around it and plenty of snack spots or restaurants to eat at. Photos I added are from my past year visit.

Leuke dierentuin welke veelal nog ouderwets is ingericht. Veel verschillende diersoorten van olifanten tot ijsberen. Het berenbos is goed bedacht en voor de kids is er meer dan genoeg te beleven. Door het ouderwetse uiterlijk lijken sommige hokken soms wat klein. Parkeergelegenheid is goed en prijs van een jaarabonnement niet te duur.

Very much to my liking, despite the measures, the park is fine to walk. Almost everything is open and accessible.

Nice zoo with nice stays. Some beautiful projects such as the bear forest, monkey enclosure and the new panda enclosure. Here and there a somewhat older or smaller stay. Great arcade, where children can have fun in the sand and with the water for a while. Highly recommended to visit with children.

Nice zoo with historical and modern elements. The bear forest in particular is a favorite here, and children can fully enjoy themselves in RavotApia. The only downside is that there is little vegan offer in the catering establishments.

Super mooie dieren tuin die steeds een nieuw deel aanpakt om te verbeteren zo dat dieren een groter en betere leef omgeving krijgen voor zover dat mogelijk is in gevangen schap en doen veel onderzoek voor verbetering

Interesting for young and old. Information is good. Garden is large and spacious. Children can have fun playing there. Recommended!

Absolutely nothing to see there. Only couple of animals, most of them non seeable and whatsomore seemingly treated not very well. The animals are so unhappy that it breaks the heart! Definitely not worth of that money. The place is more about the overpriced restaurants and gift shops than about poor animals! Stealing money, that's all!

Very nice park. Animal houses are close together so you do not have to walk very much. And the staff is really very nice!

Visited on a weekday in September. Some animal enclosures are dated. The panda enclosure contrasts sharply. The bear sanctuary forest is worthwhile. The large enclosure of the lowland gorillas is also beautifully landscaped. Was not very busy in the park and therefore not all catering points opened.

Not a long time ago and pleasantly surprised how the park developed. Plenty of innovations and improvements are being made. Top keep it up.

Good mix of animals. Some animals have a very nice open space - especially the bears and wolves. Other animals, especially the elephants, for example, get off very badly.
The Pandas are fun but hardly visible with the recent baby.
Food and drinks are affordable and of reasonable quality.
Especially many play areas so children have a fantastic day anyway.

Beautiful park well maintained only on certain pieces which illogically decorated. But that makes the beautiful stays with animals well again.
