Animals are well cared for! Staff do their job with love!

Animals have decent top large size enclosures. Well designed top grey close to threw animals without disturbing them. And they have two pandas on loan. Which is great to see.

Just beautiful park outside. All animals can be seen very well. Everywhere with every animal something fun for the children. Good food. Prices great. All in all a very nice day with the family. This was in honor of grandma who will soon be eighty. THANK YOU

Nice to watch the pandas. Nice animals but oh how slow and lazy they are.

Nice animal park, it looks a bit like the old Noorder animal park in Emmen, lots of greenery and tall trees, no smelly cages and lots of animals.

We think this has been one of the most beautiful and best zoos in the Netherlands for years. Probably also because the bear is my wife's favorite animal . We have considered the bear forest a highlight for years. This time it was the first time since the Pandabears stay in Ouwehands. What a beautiful stay those animals have. And the Panda bears themselves are also great to see in person. Still beautiful animals to see. Polar bear enclosure is also very beautiful.
I would say you haven't been to Ouwehands yet, go there for a day.

Ouwehands Zoo is a beautiful zoo with enough space for people and animals. The pandas are of course the highlight of the visit, but the other animals are also worth a visit.

It was a lot of fun and there were lots of animals to watch but a bit crowded in the morning. Definitely recommended

Nice park and close to the animals for the children.

Many special animals, nicely accommodated and well cared for. The pandas make an impression. The dolphin show was fun but there is still some work to be done to make it a better show, what more professional.

Cute, anything to do for children. Annual subscription is not expensive. Parking is expensive.

Nice set up, many kinds of animals to see. The Pandas are unique, but there is much more to see and experience. Great fun for the kids. Recommended!

I have been to the China Light festival, it was great. At 4 o'clock the zoo closes and at 5 o'clock it opens again but then lights up. It all looks great, with a nice route through the entire park. The highlight is the Pandas .

Ouwehands zoo is on the right track, many things are being tackled, so that the zoo looks more natural, and also the pandas since May this year, nice to spend a day.

Nice park with pandas you can see. Sea Lion Show could use an upgrade.

Definitely worth a visit. Especially now that the pandas are here. Really recommended.

A nice zoo for a sunny day. Have been here twice, and I do bot regret. The only thing I would like to point out is I personally feel the tickets are more on an expensive side. The restaurant is also super expensive, although the food is nice for sure. Panda has been the main attraction since last year, and that section is always crowded, but you need to make sure that you visit them at 10:30 i.e. at their breakfast time, else most of the time they are just sleeping motionless.

Nice zoo; clear. The panda enclosure is beautiful. Also in bad weather there is a nice play location for children.

Great place for family and children to keep their eyes wide with excitement.

Het is een leuk dierenpark, met speelgelegenheden voor kinderen en shows.
Alleen voor mensen met een rolstoel kan het best lastig zijn. Er zijn veel heuvels in het park. Bij het Panda verblijf is de heuvel aan een kant zo steil dat ik mijn vriendin niet omhoog kreeg.
Desondanks veel plezier gehad in het park.

We (family of 4) think it is a very nice and neat zoo. We have seen many animals here that we had never seen (Blijdorp subscription). Aquarium is a bit less, especially if you are used to an oceanarium in Rotterdam. In short, definitely recommended

Yesterday evening went to China light festival. This was really beautiful! Next year we want to go again!

It was amazing. A very enjoyable day with my daughters. Pandas and polar bears were the best animals to watch and also eat in a chinesse restaurant make a plus.

For us, the most beautiful zoo we know so far, in NRW only Zoom is comparable. The zoo is beautifully decorated and modern. There are paths that lead through or through the enclosure, there are many rare animals that you do not often see in zoos. There are really big, beautiful and modern playgrounds for children. There is music everywhere in the park. Even the restaurants are furnished according to topics, in the jungle rest surant there are, for example. a canopy with animal figures and crashed planes, so you feel like you are in the jungle. Due to the language, the zoo was unfortunately also adventurous for us, since everything is in Dutch, signs in animals and restaurants are usually only in Dutch, sometimes in English. As we had expected, is finally in the Netherlands. Fortunately, all the staff but English, many also a few words German. There were also many other German zoo visitors besides us. I suggest you plan despite the manageable size of the zoo at least 3.5 hours, there is really a lot to see. And who has children who like to explore playgrounds at least 5 hours, better the whole day. The costs are very high with approx. 56,50 for 2 persons and parking ticket, who drives from NRW there, wants a small pandasouvenir from the shop and still wants to eat something in the restaurant should plan about 50 euros per person for the day.

The maps was amazing and easy to guide even first comes. The staff are wonderful. There is fun for everyone, kids, youths, adult, and senior citizens.

Perhaps the most beautiful zoo in the country. 2 reasons: panda enclosure and the indoor playground with restaurant.

A beautiful zoo that is well-organized, child-friendly and very hospitable.

Nice and extensive and wheelchair accessible zoo. There are enough MiVa parking spaces. Spread over MiVa toilets throughout the park. The person I visited did not have a large changing table (only baby size). Few places small piece of cobblestones otherwise everything well asphalted. I needed a little push in 2 places because it was a bit steep (hand-wheeled wheelchair). Everywhere good visibility from my wheelchair (I am 1.80 m and sit fairly low in my wheelchair). Jungle restaurant also easily accessible. Many different types of animals interspersed with enough play options. Very nice zoo!

Nice zoo, easily accessible. Doors of miva toilets heavy. Too few miva parking places. Many slopes, so a pusher can do no harm.

A small but fine zoo. Where else can you see the giant pandas so close? Even gorillas are rarely seen.

Beautiful, well-kept and clean animal park. We always wanted to visit the giant pandas and therefore visited Ouwehands. Very nice, also the other animals. There is a nice indoor playground with a large water feature where children can play. Bring swimsuits.

There is always something magical when visiting the Pandas. Very nice park with lots of things to see.

Nice zoo. Plates are pretty good. Tiger sign with buttons to indicate which medical complaint you want to solve, after which a tiger part lights up is strange. Seems advisable to buy tiger gall now and then, may not be the intention. In general, the lofts are relatively spacious and well maintained.

China Light Festival. The place to be. Until February 29, 2020 to watch and you should do that too. Fantastic what the Chinese have managed to put down there in 25/28 days and what a great opportunity to immediately see the giant pandas in real life. Definitely recommended and if you are smart you get 5.00 discount on a ticket through HEMA. So do it.

Beautiful park, not too busy and easy to do with the walking routes. All animals can see well.

Gezellige dag gehad.. was erg mooi weer en niet superdruk in het park. Veel dieren genoten van het zonnetje en lagen rustig te soezen maar dat is te verwachten als het warm is.
Ben benieuwd naar het pandaverblijf en kom zeker terug voor de panda's wanneer ze in het park zijn!

Average zoo. People-friendly park with plenty of dining options (but pricey). Plenty of animals and animal species, but many quarters looked small and uncomfortable. I am not an animal myself and have a different frame of reference, so maybe the animals were very happy.

Quite pricey. We were there on a weekday and almost all the small eateries were close.
