Unfortunately, many empty cages and with various work activities .....

Nice clear park. Not too big and not too small. The animals have enough indoor and outdoor living space. Pandas are really great. There is also plenty of catering facility. Importantly, the dogs are also welcome. There are also plenty of play areas for the children. The aquarium area is also very nice.

I was last there when I was about 12 years old. It remains a beautiful zoo. When we were there a few things were rebuilt so we could not go anywhere and see everything. Furthermore, a nice zoo where you can spend a day in. What I found impressive were the signs explaining the function of the zoo during the second world war. Has made quite an impression ......

The pandas and the staff were great, only the rest of the park was a bit neglected and few restaurants.

Was great, a very nicely lit Ouwehands. Well worth the effort.

Had a nice day. The space for the animals is good. Lots of beautiful animals, also a sea lion show.
And of course the giant pandas.

This was once the destination of my first school trip. In my memory this was a huge zoo. today it seemed smaller but no less fun. A nice collection of animals and a lot of attention for animal welfare. It is a shame that the young polar bears can only go outside in March.

Very nice zoo with lots of entertainment for young children. Only downside is that the tickets for entrance and parking are very expensive.

Leuk dierenpark wat de laatste jaren steeds verder verbeterd.
Mooiere dierenverblijven, betere sfeer door het gehele park.
Momenteel (augustus 2016) word er gebouwd aan Pandasia, het toekomstige onderkomen voor twee Panda's die dit najaar vanuit China naar Rhenen komen.
Dit zal het nieuwste bouwwerk zijn na o.a. het nieuwe gorillaverblijf en het (vernieuwde) beren op en Umkhosi, de Afrikaanse savanne.



Al met al een mooi dierenpark.
Zeker een aanrader.

Very nice zoo, with the giant pandas as a plus! But downside is that there are few drinking water points, especially on hot days like today.

Wuwen and Xingya are well treated here, hope they enjoy their 15 years in the NL.

A very nice park where they have created really nice large spacious enclosures for the animals to live in. Like outside and inside.

Genoeg te zien en erg leuk voor kinderen.
Ondanks de drukte kon je overal gewoon bijkomen. Alleen bij de zeehondenshow stond een wachtrij.

Fun real animal park and no converted animal park to amusement park, like in Emmen.

Very nice! They have many beautiful animals, residences, restaurants and playgrounds. They provide information about the animals in a fun way, but unfortunately they are currently working on major renovations.

Not my favorite zoo but it has definitely improved and become more beautiful since the last time I was there. Not very big, doable for half a day. Nice playgrounds in between but very confusingly not very handy with small children who like to draw their own plan.

Fantastic winter evening light show! A must see! We had a wonderful time. The Chinese restaurant was also open, which made our evening complete. Highly recommended!

I think this is one of the most beautiful zoos in the Netherlands. What a terribly beautiful park!

Nice zoo where you can spend the day relaxing. The China light festival that can also be visited in the evening hours is also very worthwhile. This will guide you through a shortened route through the zoo past beautifully highlighted spots. Incidentally, during the evening hours you will not be able to spot many animals, so if you want to see them, it is definitely advisable to also come during the day.

Great zoo where the animals still have a little space. Much less than good for them, I know. But most animals don't look super unhappy. Polar bears are often pleasantly active.

Great animal park which is very much modernizing. If you have followed the TV series about the animal park, you will also recognize some animals. Which is great fun.

Verder natuurlijk het Berenbos en de Pandas.

Well-kept diet garden and recommended to spend a day with the children

We had seen the TV series from this zoo. So wanted to see this in real life. It is a beautiful animal park with many animals. The animals had nice stays. The bear forest is larger than we had seen on TV, super. Also the gorrila's stay very nice and if you go into the building we could see them from close by. And of course the panda bears are great. Even the buildings adapted in Chinese style.

It really remains a very nice park to walk around in. Spacious and beautiful accommodation.

What a nice animal park this is. The children had a great time and there was plenty to see.
I had not been here for a long time because it is quite a drive.

Today it was bitterly cold and many animals were visible indoors or out. Better luck next time!

Nice park, huge attention for the pandas and that is a shame because this park has so much more. To be honest, the sea lion show needs to be renewed. Too few nice restaurants I think

Nice zoo, just a pity that it has become so expensive after the arrival of the pandas. They often came there (4 times a year), but it is no longer possible for a family of 5 people.

One of the nicest zoos I've been to. The habitats are spacious, there are many different (and special) animals to see and there is also a lot to do for children who come along.

2 years ago been around the same time of the year. Everything looked much better maintained then. Seemed to be more animals. But this was pretty disappointing. Many cases were closed due to bird flu, which is understandable. But the sea lion show was canceled? In the large monkey enclosure everything was hidden inside for the public. Other things was simply a sign with closed. Or stay with 1 single animal in what was even clear to a child that this was not possible. (Strange behavior, stress) Hardly any food in the park except at the indoor playground. Where there was no longer a seat to be found. Then after ordering your 2 fries and 2 burgers waiting 30 minutes is of course nothing. Very unfortunate because in 2015 our visit was really great. So the expectations were high again but unfortunately not fulfilled.

Very cute animals and a great variety! Awesome place to take kids or to go to as adults! Fun for everyone. Good cafes and such. Also nice events. Very large and interesting! Incredible play and climbing things for kids including a haunted house, 2 playgrounds, a large slide and climbing ropes! Overall an extremely nice experience!!!

Leuke dierentuin met als topattractie natuurlijk de Panda's. Die in een indrukwekkend verblijf zitten.
Veel(ik vond persoonlijk te veel) kinderspeelgelegenheden!

This is a fantastic animal park in a beautiful setting! Easily accessible and with private parking.
The animal enclosures are usually very spacious and there are many different animal species. The animals were also fairly active today, which makes it extra fun! But the icing on the cake are really the pandas in their beautiful stay !!

Good places to sit inside and outside and the food and drink is more than good and also in the quantities that you get !!!

Just a pity that the range in the souvenir shop is too small !!!

The zoo is neatly equipped with a one-way walking route and there is an opportunity to buy food to eat. It is a pity that there are visitors who do not follow the walking route and then get angry when you point them out. It is nice that the zoo can be visited again.

A super nice zoo, something different for the bears. Panda bears, and and many different types of monkeys.

The weather was great which helped enormously. Parking alternately which is super nice. Entrance went well. Many places with hand hygiene. There was a long line in front of the aquarium with many people ... that is certainly a point of attention! A few streaks on the floor at the entrance ... but the line was much, much further ... making people walk past waiting people so I really thought that was a flaw. A number of restaurants were open and some were closed .. some of the properties are currently closed, but we had a nice day. Sometimes it felt a bit too busy unfortunately in some places.

Had a nice day at this zoo. Many different types of animals seen in usually beautiful, spacious enclosures. Every now and then it feels a bit outdated, but we are working on that. The panda enclosure is less impressive than publicity had suggested.

Fantastic. On rainy days. Definitely going to be super fun and ravot apia is really a godsend
