Beautiful spacious park, well kept animals and their stays. Interesting to see the Panda: 's. Road signs to the park are bad.

Nice old zoo where couple the pandas are housed. A dog is also welcome here. Did find that the larger animals orphaned and made a slow impression. The bears and wolves are active. Beautiful park with lots of play opportunities for children.

Beautiful animal park with spacious accommodation for the animals. Many fun opportunities for children including climbing and climbing equipment and many slides. And stalls with staff who tell animal facts. Like it more than the average animal park.

Went on Friday last week. Had a wonderful day. At the beginning of the park it was a bit busy and 1.5 meters was difficult to handle. Despite walking route. Also doable in the park. Enough eating and drinking options. And play areas for the kids.

Zoo is too outdated compared to other zoos, little atmospheric and too expensive for what is offered

Helaas was niet alles bereikbaar in het park door werkzaamheden. Dit stond wel duidelijk vermeld op de site. Dus ik stond niet voor verassingen.
Best een leuk park! Ik vind alleen sommige verblijven van de dieren iets klein. Maar het park is zelf ook niet super groot zoals Blijdorp.
De panda's waren lekker aan het chille zoals je op de foto ziet.

A somewhat older but cozy park to walk around. With a large habitat for the bears and wolves.

Beautiful park and especially the new eatery with the pandas is a must.

Nice, but those Pandas wouldn't have liked me. Money was better spent on some overdue maintenance.

We have of course been here to see the pandas. It is a very nice zoo! There is much to see.

Its nice...looks animals are well treated except polar bear.

It was not terribly busy so had plenty of time to see everything .. and some extra time to spend in the very nice and covered mega large sandbox / clamber and mud room for small and less small chatting with an ice cream or drink. .fun for all ages!

Remains a beautiful park where the animals have enough space

Ouwehands is one of the most beautiful animal parks in the Netherlands.

Het blijft wennen in dit vreemde jaar, maar Ouwehands blijft een geweldige dierentuin met een fantastische bemensing. Alleen voor het personeel en hun liefde voor wat ze doen zou je al een abonnement nemen.
Voor veel mensen zijn de de reden om te komen, maar kijk ook eens verder. Het berenbos is een reden om langzaam te lopen, de gibbons altijd een reden tot verbazing en vreugde, de bateleur majestueus. Kortom waarom heb je nog geen abonnement?

Very nice zoo plus a bit old-fashioned but nice old

We thought it was a beautiful animal park well cared for and very child friendly. Enjoyed this zoo. The catering industry in the Chinese pavilion was fine, nice clean tables, good food and usual prices. Many animals in the zoo and fun alternating with play areas (both inside and outside) for children. Only the pandas (Xing Ya and Wu Wen) were lazing in and it was still such nice weather outside. But we were able to see them well and put them in the picture. Really too nice for words to be able to see those pandas in real life. The big stays of the animals and who were absolutely clean is definitely a plus. The animals looked very good, and had a lot of play opportunities Ouwehands also has the CHINA LIGHT. Through the entire park there are Chinese illuminated animals, flowers and buildings put down. With the beautiful colors especially for the little children very nice and there was a nice show of the Winter King. This is highly recommended to do in the evening with family or with your friends. With children is often difficult because if you come from afar you want to have the children in bed on time. But it is ugly and beautiful and very surprising.

Was nice, especially the bears. The park is also beautiful but not always very beautiful but good. Jarl was shouting all the time that was funny, the rest were broke, as were the animals in the park. Is nice, but no civilians like that. Thanks!

Beautiful, well-kept zoo! With many types of animals, including of course special animals that you do not encounter in every zoo. We had our annual outing here from the staff association with a lunch buffet. This was also excellent and well cared for, with three different buffets and a children's buffet. Many play options for the children such as RavotAapia and the jungle. Really recommended to go, and to stroll around.

Very nice animal park, even with bad weather for small children still very nice. Indoor playground has certainly made our day complete. Free parking is possible if you are willing to walk a bit.

Nice zoo, dogs are also welcome at a small entrance fee (currently 2019 this is 5 euros). You will also receive a "poop bag" and dog snack.

Especially the panda stay is very beautiful! The other animals also have a lot of space to move. Nice playgrounds and walking paths. Especially in good weather you can enjoy yourself here all day. The restaurants are pricey but for a day out you should be able to. The parking will also be added, next to the park is a train station which is of course also ideal to combine.

Follow the walking route and you will see the whole park.

We (2 adults and 3 children aged 6, 10, 12) have visited the China Light Festival in Ouwehands. This is really recommended. Incredibly beautiful illuminated figures with various themes. You see very little of the animals in the zoo (only the pandas and some birds) so you really have to go for the lights. You do walk through the entire park and you can play in the indoor playground. It is a pity that it is not decorated in a more atmospheric way. Allow about 2 to 2.5 hours for your visit if you are really comfortable and want to play something.

Most of the animals were sleeping or lofts were empty.

PANDABEER OF BRUINE ?
Dan is de keuze niet moeilijk: pandabeer . Je wordt als gast met een eigen paleisje wel erg in de watten gelegd. Overdreven? Het is aan de bezoekers.
Park is in de winter, ondanks de kleurrijke, Chinees bouwsel troosteloos.
Helaas passen veel dieren zich in hun territorium daaraan aan. Ze zijn moeilijk en soms niet vindbaar.
Voor de kleinkinderen is er gelukkig een groot overdekt speelterrein aanwezig.

Mooi park alleen wat mij stoorde aan het park is dat dier en leefomgeving zo belangrijk thema is maar kwa afval beheer lopen ze ver achter
Al het afval van de bezoekers word niet gescheiden .nergens staan bakken waar je afval kan scheiden .
Ik ben geen milieu activist .
Maar het contrast stoorde mij wel .
Ze zijn heel druk met het bewust maken van de kinderen over dier en welzijn maar alle afval word niet gescheiden opgevangen .

Beautiful zoo with beautiful animal houses. Pandas are a bit exaggerated.
We enjoyed it.

Nice park, however, not seen many animals. But how badly employees supervise the corona measures. 300 people waiting for a show while 100 are allowed in. People remain responsible themselves, but park must still seek advice and maintain the latter far. Waiting for problems.

Nice evening with our grandchildren ....... shame about the rain ..... was great for each other there was a lot of attention ....... we enjoyed it

The animals were generally clearly visible, but it was very busy with the pandas and they were no longer kept 1.5 meters. In addition, the signs with animal information were not always legible / present.

Too bad the disabled places are so far from the entrance.

Nice park, but a pity that some things were not accessible due to the corona. Understandable but unfortunate. I found it a bit strange that if you wanted to see the bonobo experiance you had to pay for it again. It was still under construction so no monkey to see, but you did pay extra. Then made the comment that entrance had already been paid and the response was that the shoulders shrugged once. Furthermore, a beautiful day with good weather and fully enjoyed. More next time and definitely recommended. Furthermore, I believe that sufficient measures had been taken with regard to the corona. And that you have to wait a little longer, oh well so be it. People also have their own responsibility to take this into account because it is impossible to place a guard or something similar on every corner and therefore do not think that you can talk to them about it, in this case Ouwehand. If you look that far, you'd better close the park and nobody wants that either. Just adapt and don't whine. Grts A3 on.

Very nice zoo only 1.5 meters are not taken into account at all, there are no stripes in the park that can help you with only a mandatory walking route. Staff are young and do not intervene if they notice anything. Far too many people crammed into the park! FULL = FULL!

It was a lot of fun to see the animals. The park looks beautiful and the animals often showed themselves! It is very unfortunate that the 1.5 meter rule is not taken into account at all. As a precaution, I myself stand 1.5 meters away from another visitor and before you realize it, someone is panting in your neck .....

Beautiful zoo. Nice walk route. Animals have a lot of space and are very tame. Dogs are allowed and the animals are not annoyed. Everything is designed in such a way that you imagine yourself among the animals. And they also have real pandas. Really great!
