Tropical diseases department: after a trip to Australia, itchy spots appeared and my doctor advised me to go here because he said they are the best experts. Moral of the story, the doctor who visited me as well as not knowing how Sydney and Melbourne were written and showing strong difficulties on the English language (to tropical diseases I expect that there is a minimal geographical and linguistic basis), was not able to understand what I had. Luckily I then went to a dermatologist doctor privately in Peschiera, who solved the problem and in a month I was cured.

Great hospital! Very large structure, many departments.

Unfortunately, it has been practically impossible to book by telephone for a month, 45 minutes of waiting and then the line falls. More times a day ....

An excellent hospital facility. Well-trained, sensitive and welcoming medical and nursing staff. Friendly and caring employees. My mother underwent kyphoplasty surgery in 2018 with excellent results. I take this opportunity to thank Dr. Serra again and all his wonderful team. Highly recommended.

Don Calabria has "always" specialized in tropical diseases, thanks to the need to offer assistance to missionaries but, at least from my experiences (in particular the continuous treatments (60) and related controls for maculopathy = in over 6 years never a misunderstanding), but also surgery (meniscectomy, inguinal hernia), I can say that EXCELLES above all as everyone: doctors and staff all, in a very valid symbiotic synchronism between operators, gives the best of himself by associating the maximum PRFESSIONALITY understanding and COMMON SENSE, avoiding bureaucratic hitches as much as possible: WELL DIFFERENT from other large trade union / bureaucratized structures, where for a trifle one finds oneself having to follow Kafkaesque procedures ...

The switchboard NEVER answers. 2 days I call and always busy. If they answer then they put you down. Shameful for a hospital.

Having contacted Prof Stefano Cavalleri, without asking himself he organized all the necessary examinations and checks, on 5/9/2018 after at least 6 hours in an operating room with robotic technique he had performed the intervention, putting them back on their feet, despite the two mandatory catheters already the next day.
Hospital reception is excellent, you are above all a name, not a number, all ready and prepared with surprising organization if considered Italian ....

we have been in abundance with my wife for 2 months after a laparoscopic operation. To date my wife still suffers from very severe abdominal pains and, after several visits (all for a fee) from various specialists, we are still at the point of being told: "WE WANT PATIENCE". Fortunately it is considered a center of excellence ... we are evaluating the possibility of moving through legal channels ...

From Milan to Negrar. Above all my expectations! In addition to the incredibly courteous and helpful staff, I found a doctor, in the person of Dr. Stefania Marocco, not only very attentive to listening to the patient, extremely scrupulous and exhaustive but extremely kind and respectful of the patient's sensitivity as a whole.

In a particular moment of life when you have to undergo something that you would not want .... you find a reality of professionals who welcomes you and makes you feel safe. I discovered doctors and nurses who called me by name ... without ever letting me hear a number on the file. I recommend it to anyone who wants an efficient structure. After two years I can say with absolute certainty that I made the right choice. The confirmation I got from doctors from other regions that I saw later.

An elderly family member of mine with delirium and senile dementia, who was discharged after 4 days with absolutely inadequate prescriptions, was rushed to the neurology department. The doctor delivers the resignation letter without spending a word. Unable to contact doctors in the following days. Great place for food and lodging, bad for patient care. We easily solved the situation privately elsewhere.

In the orthopedics department, male staff leaves a lot to be desired (in my case).
Wrong dosages of important drugs are often distracted.

Excellent hospital from all points of view, but at the emergency room this morning I have problems entering my 82 year old mother with severe abdominal pain. It depends on the nurse to let in or not. It does not seem to me a sensible choice to leave a relative without support. From my experience I can say that only at the emergency room I had problems both this morning and in the past.

2 experiences to say that they will not see me anymore and just acquaintances.
1 negative experience in the emergency room where for a cut under the lower lip of the 2 year old girl they gave 5 points (doubtful if necessary or not) and leaving an unwatchable scar.
2 negative experience in the Diagnostic Imaging department. Dr. De Santis highlighted an infringement of the IX right rib (without any confirmed X-ray released), while a 10-day private examination showed that they were fractured from III to VIII (with the so-called attached to be able to see the evidence).

Aesthetic Surgery: a specialist tells me that in this hospital they perform loanable operations, for just cause. Phone in August 2019, they give me an appointment on December 30th 2019! I wait patiently and then be received by a doctor who is keen to say that he is from Lecce (which nobody asked him), who before my visit was absent to follow a woman who stood in front of the study door and that he was not a patient. To hear me say that the borrowed interventions have a very long wait and that in any case my case he would not have done it because it was very complicated. A waste of time.

I update, and remove a star, for a demerit note to the gentleman who controls the access to the acceptance wing. He did not let me in to accompany my 72 year old father to do an eye examination with contrast fluid, causing him many difficulties to return to the exit as he DID NOT SEE US! I understand very well the controls etc., but for some visits the accompaniment is necessary !!!!

I think it is the best hospital in Verona and its province. Based on our family experience we can say without a shadow of a doubt that this hospital represents excellence. The geriatrics ward was excellent, where they assisted my grandfather in 2016 for a severe pressure sore, and then moved him to rehabilitation. Kindness, competence, humanity are the characteristics of doctors (Arduini, Cacace, Pelizzari, just to name a few). The infectious and tropical diseases department is also excellent, where they treated my dad in May from the covid19 infection and consequent bronchopneumonia. A THANK YOU will never be enough!

An operated patient who is about 1000 km away on Friday evening with a catheter cannot be discharged and then returned on Monday morning to perform an exam and leave her standing all day waiting for the outcome. This is not a review but a thank you. I was admitted for a serious illness that had not been diagnosed at the Mater Salutis hospital in Legnago although I went to the emergency room. Instead, in the Emergency Department of Negrar hospital, they took all the necessary exams and I was immediately admitted to intensive care. What to say, everyone, really everyone (from the attendants, to the nurses, to the doctors) very kind, human, welcoming, reassuring. I've never heard a number but a person. A place of excellence. I too wanted to go to this hospital in Negrar because for many years I have always heard of it well, a relative of mine was hospitalized there years ago and a colleague of mine recently, I am now waiting for the call to go and make a knee surgery, the road to get there from my city is not long and then it is also well served by buses that go from the center of Verona to the hospital, and for people with the disabled pass I have seen that both outside and inside there are several! There is only to be careful because to get there, there are many speed camera machines, I don't know if they work but they are there, so be careful !!!

This hospital was my salvation. Lugo specialized in the treatment of endometriosis. All my life will remain in my heart with a thank you to all the very courteous and attentive staff. A special thanks to Dr. Minelli my salvation and excellent doctor in the study and study of this bad disease. I owe my normal life to him! Thank you very much. 3 months of hospitalization in cardiology, medical examinations and daily checks, excellent staff (only some slightly delicate women with blood samples). Good 3 daily meals, all very clean and tidy.
The dentistry department was exceptional, I extracted 4 wisdom teeth and the work was performed perfectly (my dentist also confirmed), not to mention the truly affordable price.
First aid is also very efficient.

Bad service hours of waiting and lack of tact towards those who are sick a shame! Never again.
