Went to the Yelp Winter Masquerade Ball with my fiance. Both had a blast there as it was after hours at the science center.
Great place to bring children as they can learn hands on
I went to this for Science Night Live and it was awesome. Only 15$ for the admission and so many activities. I mean, the alcohol was a plus too but just going to the science center when I hasn't been since I was a child was a real thrill. Plus I'm glad to have supported it because in these political climates where science is being disregarded for politics instead, I want to contribute as much as I can to something so important.
We had a great time with both my toddler and 7 year old. There was something for everyone.
Awesome place to take the kids. Lots of stuff to do, very interesting.
I had a great time there with my sons and my sister!
The Science Center had always been a great place for kids and adults. Within the last year though, they ve really stepped up their game with more interactive exhibits for everyone and a great new STEAM area. They also have a few Sundays a year that they do Sensory Sunday! That s very helpful if you have children with Sensory difficulties. I d recommend coming and seeing the Super Hero exhibit that is there now
just got home from spending 3 hours there, everything was clean and smelled clean, they were staying on top of the cleaning. The place was empty so plenty of room for social distancing. My son did not want to leave.
The indoor-playground has brightened many rainy afternoons.
Great place for the child in every science nerd of any age. Great hands on science exhibits and educational movies.
Our family LOVES a day at the science center! There is always so much to do there, but if you have little ones, you have to make some time for Kid's Town. The large dome movie theater is another must-have, they play some great short films there and the experience is amazing. The exhibits change often, so it's almost something new every time. They also have a Subway in the building, so you can make it an all-day outing and not have to worry about packing and carrying lunch. Get there early so you have time to see as much as you can!
Fun for even the littlest of kids. Educational and hands on.
The Orlando Science Center is one of the best science museums still around. There are multiple floors of exhibits, live shows, movies, and activities.
There are many things to do for kids and adults of all ages. Definitely worth the price of admission.
My family loves the Science Center. It's clean and the exhibits are fantastic. It's great for all ages. My 16 month old gets excited when she realizes where she's going on the over pass and starts running towards the ticket line.
This was a great family day for us. Lots of hands on stuff for ten and under kids. Kids who are into science will enjoy. The star wars exhibit was great
I think I might have enjoyed it as much as my two year old did. I can't believe someone rated this a one star attraction. By far one of the best Museums/ Science based Amusement parks I have ever seen. The orange tree exhibit, the science based games, it just blew our minds. This is better than Disney imo for small children because there are zero lines. Just rooms and rooms full of games and places to play. If I could give it ten stars I would.
It is really fun! A lot of diferentes activites for the kids to do, we come for the heroes which they had hulk, Batman, Superman etc they also Ave alligators, snakes, tortoise etc they have a place to dig up Dino bones they have different Dino bones including one that moves and roars at you. They have a water spot where you can play with balls in the water the have a playground..there is a theater a subway they have strollers for rent
This is one of my favorite places to take my son. Always so much fun , a lot to do, the shows are amazing and interesting. They change the themes often so it's never boring. Definitely perfect for the summer too because the temperature inside is wonderful !
Definitely geared towards children. However very insightful and a fun place for kids to learn
The Orlando Science Center is fantastic! We attended a birthday party - hosted by the Science Center - that was great and then checked out the new Light Play exhibit, which was really fun. The new kids ply area is amazing, too! Would highly recommend to anyone within 30-40 minutes drive!
Attended a birthday party, the room wasn t ready until 30 minutes after it was supposed to start. The pizza was cold, the plastic table cloths that they used had been used so many times prior that they had holes in them. The hostess helped serve the food & there were no napkins provided until after everyone was done w lunch. No one picked up the plates after lunch. It was a disorganized mess. The empty pizza boxes were not disposed of or removed. The boxes were thrown on the floor where the kids were walking by & anyone could of easily tripped. Actually I would never recommend this venue to anyone. The party room looked uninviting. I didn t even want to take pictures.
Over priced but its ok nothing mind blowing
.
We have taken our granskids here for many years. It is always fun for them with lots of hands-on activities. It is fun for us too. We usually spend a few hours here so it is not an all day activity. Someone mentioned that there are limited food options in the museum. That's true but there are many food options in the area. Extend your time in the area with a visit to a nearby restaurant.
Engaging staff. Fun place for kids to see diverse science exhibits. I love their Natureworks area
It's fun with a little laugh, and friends it will be the best science class ever.
Great place to bring kids all sorts of hands on stuff.
Really great place to take kids. Tons of interactive displays to get everyone excited about science. I'm pretty sure I had more fun then the kids.
Awesome, fun place for kids! Spent HOURS here and hoping to get a membership soon so we have something to do on these rainy days.
The a Science Center serves as an adorable and educational alternative to theme park tickets.
We try to bring out kids as much as possible! Its amzing for kids. Not really made for adults though.
Our whole family has fun here! We love the animals and reptiles. The kids area and playground is just a blast. The hands on experiences are fun for the whole family- especially the kinetic area. This last visit the had a spy exhibit which we had so much fun with! Definitely worth a family membership. We come several times throughout the year to check out new exhibits. Even on really busy days, we still have fun. Oh and the coffee is super yummy and reasonably priced!
This a great place to bring your kids of all ages. Especially on rainy days, always plenty of activities for them to do and explore. They have so much more potential though, they need to think about expanding to add newer exhibits and revamp some older ones.
It is a spectacular place, where you can marvel at how the world is 100% science and wherever you go you can learn new things. Perfect place to go with children.
My kids (3&5) have been coming here since they were 2 and infant. It is still the number one place they ask to go. I have also brought my adult sister when she was visiting from out of state and she enjoyed herself too. The exhibit on the second floor changes so there is something new all the time. The kids town area can get really busy during peak times, but my kids don t seem to notice as there are so many fun and interactive exhibits.
My kids had a great birthday here, and learned a ton the fun way!
Great activities for younger kids. Easy parking and access
In a city with so much to do this is a must see. An awesome place to check out and quieter than the theme parks
Really packed it took 20 mins to get in the parking garage and not much room for the parents to sit need more room in the lunch area and something besides subway. Amazon movie was good
It was fun and has a lot of Learning possibilities to explore very fine ass body Lord inside the house and it has a observatory and the staff is really friendly food is really good it is fun for the whole family
It was quite a good experience overall, I understand that it is an interactive museum, but perhaps there could be some more staff cleaning up all day due to the quantity of children present. The exhibits are quite fun and educational, but perhaps even some more exhibits geared towards adults, such as mechanical engineering and physics based exhibits.
Great for kids of all ages. My little one couldn't get enough of all the activities.
Very interesting. Loved the virtual reality jet flying experience
LOTS of great things to do with kids of all ages. Their recently remodeled Kidstown has many opportunities to be active including a giant climbing area which is great for rainy days. There are always animals on the bottom floor, and interesting exhibits are always cycling throughm We've loved the OSC for so long, we've been members since our first was old enough to crawl around. I highly recommend it.
Didn't realize it was more for young children. But, my husband and I did have a good time especially in the Technology Lab (I believe its on the second floor). The rest of the exhibits were more for children. This definitely it highly recommended for families with young children since it is a hands-on experience. I suggest visiting during weekdays, since I did see a lot of big groups (whether it was classrooms or big family groups).
Absolutely wonderful experience as far as the exhibits, accessibility, staff especially!
wheelchair accessible for my son, even got VIP service via freight elevator so we didnt have to wait for the crowded regular one. we were there on medical in the area and made this a mini vacation. two of my grown kids were with us too and had a blast. theres something there for all ages. well worth the admission fee! plus its right next to the hospital and ronald mcdonald house. wish the drink machines were the kind that took debit cards as the subway is the only place for food/drinks and was never a line less than 100 people. if you're spending the day there, you could go out and walk next door to the hospital cafeterias which are truly amazing. we cant wait to go back to the science center and in fact are buying a pass. PS they participate in Bank of AMerica museums on us program. Giving this place 5 stars, wish I could give it more!
Awesome experience! one of the best science centers I've visited, with a lot of stuff to do for bog kids and little kids.
My children and I love this place. It changes up depending on events and seasons so it's never boring.
*Special tip* of you have an EBT card it's only $3/person to enter for up to 6 ppl.
Great interesting science center for all interested in interesting artifacts and scientific knowledge. So much to learn here.
Newly remodeled and very kid friendly. My grandkids, as well as the adults, had a great time. Would recommend.
This Science museum will keep your children having fun with hands on experiences from room to room. Some rooms are labeled 2 - so parents know they arent meant for older children. There are also some climbing displays ,and some creating. I thought it was very interesting when you were able to learn about snakes ( and even touch one while a science person held it and talked about it. There were turtles, birds etc.
One of our family favorites!!! Always changing, educational and FUN for all ages!!! Annual family membership you can t beat, especially in the Florida heat!!!
Considering the social distancing situation they did a remarkable job adapting and implementing a safe experience. We were very impressed.
Loved it! Went for Messfest and had a blast, I think we're going to become members...so much to see and hands on play. Great for kids from 1 to 99 years old (the grown ups had just as much fun)!
Grew up going here as a kid. Such an essential part of my childhood. Great exhibits for adults too. What an awesome gem of Orlando.
Went on field trip and had a GREAT time. Big awesome place. Lots to do & learn. But our school bus was late coming from Lakeland and than got stuck in accident rush hour traffic. So we ended up , 7 kindergarten classes with 20 to 25 kids in each, locked out and stuck in the court yard area for about 3 hours .!
All of course had to pee. At 1st while they were closing the staff let the kids use the restroom, but then proceed to lock the doors.
Really big science center here. There are a lot of unruly kids here, and some of the descriptions of the activities are misleading, but it s still a fun time.
Had more fun than expected. The Orlando Science Center won't be making any must-go-to lists, but it's a a great and educational way to spend an afternoon if you're tired of the constant bustle of the theme parks. For Orlando residents, I would definitely go closer to closing hours as it becomes significantly less crowded and allows you to enjoy each exhibit in under an hour.
I deliver busloads of school children. They all like it. Some teachers think there are too many rules.
Love the Science Center! Great activities for the kids! A safe, fun, and we'll planned place for kids of all ages.
