Oradea is foam ... cream ... the center ... of the future of super accelerated development in Romania ... but unfortunately everyone knows a super development ... taxes ... taxes ... etc .. much success !
Superb renovated town hall, as others say .... There are toilets and a baby friendly area for the baby. How are they lacking in many public locations and institutions?
The buildings look amazing, but the whole center can be seen in 2 hours. Not much else to do.
Loved it since it was made only for walkers! Here was TIFF in October 2020 the third edition. I saw here Pinocchio and Military Wives.

Architecturally, the building deserves 5 stars. It is an excellent combination of form and function and is relatively well maintained.
As a bureaucratic infrastructure, the institution is not the friendliest; I give him 3 points. A big plus is the "pyramid" service. On the other hand, access to information of public interest is difficult and the degree of transparency leaves much to be desired. It is not very easy to navigate the building and there is no definite plan of the building. However, the public information desk can guide you.
As a quality of interaction with officials, my experience needs me to give it a star. Although urban management plans are contemporary, human resources are still blocked somewhere in the 1990s. "No" is still the preferred answer, the result orientation is completely lacking, and the ethics of the civil service cannot be found.
The result is an average of 3 stars.
It's worth seeing. I recommend a visit to the network after the evening.
I was put on the road in vain. I needed a tax certificate for my parents. It was too difficult for the employees at the counters (to read "lazy" or "lehamite") to tell me that my family had to pay a tax. I would have paid him on the spot. Instead, they passed on the certificate that we have debts, which made the certificate unusable. I did not expect such a thing and I only saw him at home. I returned to the City Hall where I was told that if I want a new certificate, without debts, to make a new application and pay it again, after paying the outstanding tax.
I think that a good part of these employees should be fired and hired people who do not make fun of the time and money of the people of Oradea.
The much praised center of Oradea has only concrete and tiles and here and there a potted tree. In an era where global warming is a concrete fact, in which dozens of European cities are turning into eco cities, we are somewhere in communism where we glorify concrete and asphalt and we do not care about air quality or the future of our children.
Congratulations to the MAYOR AND ALL EMPLOYEES, involved in the rehabilitation of the city of ORADEA. Please deliver, "PONTUL" and to the Bucharest City Hall (Mrs. Firea)! All respect ....
The central area looks very good. In the rest of the city it is known that there is organization, but it is no longer interesting: old buildings that are falling, warnings: plaster falls.

$5 lei to climb the tower (about $1.20 USD). Narrow passage ways at times, but overall fairly easy to climb. Great views out over the city too. At the top, there are plaques showing directions and distances to various cities around the world which I thought was a nice touch. The lady running the desk downstairs was very friendly and helpful - even recommending other things to do in Oradea. It's worth a visit.
The city center of Oradea is a beautiful place especially at night. The historical buildings are mostly renovated, I especially loved the tram station and the covered walkways. The whole place has european capital city to it and that's a really good thing, definetly a must see if you happen to find yourself around the are.

Today very pleasant weather for a walk and admiration of the buildings bathed in the sun and the terraces give life to the city together with the people who went out to enjoy spring. Fortunately, the theater site is coming to an end

Although we are in a pandemic, the city center is gorgeous! Those who admire the holiday lights follow the rules imposed by the pandemic!
Absolutely gorgeous city center, all restored and ready to receive tourists. Plenty of cafes and restaurants (though closing early due to pandemic restrictions). A tram stop right in the middle and gorgeous sunset over the beautiful architecture. Definitely worth a visit.

The center of Oradea has a special beauty. The Art-Nouveau architecture of the buildings is unique in Romania, and has been restored in detail, the city is very beautiful !!!

Very nice! The historic buildings have been tastefully renovated. Unirii Square looks great like that. I think it is the most beautiful central and pedestrian area of all cities in Romania. And it can be compared to the most beautiful in Europe. I especially liked the Black Eagle Palace - it has some special stained glass windows and the Greek Catholic Episcopal Palace. Congratulations to those who made the area look like this!
