This is an amazing place!! Such a great atmosphere. I went for the first time for insdustry prep class and a test shoot, and they both were sooooooooo much fun! I loved the staff, the photographers, the makeup artists, hair stylists, and the other Models! Great way to spend the day

I worked with Numa as a photographer in Los Angeles over 4 days in 2016.
Their staff was very organized and super friendly. But most importantly they were very flexible with my style and creative process! The models were styled and shown my work before I arrived and were very coachable.
They're amazing! Especially Michelle. Can't wait to work with them again in the future.

I normally don t post a lot on Google Reviews, but I had to warn others. Numa is a SCAM. They will tell anyone and everyone that they are perfect for modelling, take 1000$ for a photo shoot and book, and you ll never hear back from them again. Do not go here.

I have worked with Numa as a photographer in Alberta and Saskatchewan and have had nothing but positive experiences. Everything has been professional and well organized with the management and they have been extremely supportive ! And, all of the models I have worked with have been amazing!

I've been a photographer for Numa since early 2017 and have always had a fabulous experience working with them. In every interaction, they have been courteous, professional, prompt and just lovely to work with. Whenever I talk to models about their experiences, they also have very positive things to say. I've met so many kind, wonderful people through the agency. It really feels like Numa has your back as an artist or model; they truly want the best for you and do everything they can to help you succeed. I've worked with many agencies in Toronto, Montreal and Chicago and I can honestly say that my experience with Numa has been the most enjoyable of all!

Numa Models is an "okay" agency.

I have been with this agency for over a year. I did the test shoot, the industry prep, and bought the portfolio as well to hold my not so amazing test shoot photos, that to date are probably the worst images I have ever seen. Numa says they sign people they believe that have the "POTENTIAL" of going places but in reality unless you are the industry standard (tall, fit and well perfect) you really don't go anywhere. Numa offers these "retreats" that supposedly benefit your portfolio and recommend that these retreats will help you book work. Where Numa bothers me the most is that they don't market their faces unless again you meet the industry standard. If you are however the industry standard, Numa does actually put in effort to get you on international contracts which is what an agency is supposed to do in other words, stop signing people and giving false senses of hope that they will actually flourish as a real model. If you are placed in the "Lifestyle" category unless you work extremely hard to develop yourself, you wont leave this generic faces category in the agency. The areas of which are the most coveted are under international and commercial modelling. Those are the areas of which you will actually make money and book work. The stigma that they are trying to break (you can model regardless of what you look like)which is basically what they tell you, well they aren't actually making earth shattering industry advancements. If all you are after is a Instagram bio enhancement this is the place to be. They sign virtually anyone that has a decent enough face and are wiling to drop a few hundred dollars, and than you've got yourself a contract. If by chance you get scouted, which is rare, you'll have quite the dent in your pocket books By the time you finish paying for all of the expenses. Yes you need to put effort (as in money) to properly develop your portfolio, but that is where any proper agency would help. Not by sending you a list of so/so expensive photographers that will make you feel as though you're actually model worthy.

In my personal opinion, If you aren't actually of model standards, please spend your hard earned money else where.

This review is just how I have seen it through my experiences and my knowledge in this industry. I hope this helps people decide whether or not to sign their contracts. 4.9/5 stars seems pretty good. There is more to them behind this google score.

I can not speak highly enough about The Numa Network! Everyone is extremely positive and professional. Whether you re working with the agency directors, models, HMUA s or other photographers everyone wants to help each other out.

I am a portrait photographer and I do majority of my work with The Numa Network. Kayla-Rae (Development Director) goes above and beyond for everyone. She is one of the hardest workers I know. Late nights and early mornings, working behind the scenes to make everything run smoothly! She brings so much positive energy and professionalism to every photoshoot she works with!

I signed with Numa in April and it was the best decision of my life. They are what I have come to consider, my second family. I refer to Jade Tang as my den momma. I look up to her and have nothing but respect for her. I haven t received any paying jobs as of yet and that can be a bit disheartening but I have been given all of the support and tools to work on myself and having a positive life. I have been offered an amazing opportunity through Numa with Portfolio magazine and I am super excited for that date to arrive.

This is an amazing agency! Everyone was so nice and very professional! Made the experience unforgettable! This is the place to go!

We had an appointment at 1100, arrived at 1050 with no receptionist in sight or anyone in any of the offices on that floor. We waited until 1110 and there were still no signs of anyone, so we left. We had received an email confirmation of our appointment the day before. Also, the information sheet you are supposed to fill out when you arrive was a terrible photocopy. All in all, terribly unprofessional and a terrible first impression of the company. (Calgary office)

Numa Models is run by a very professional team. If the models don't succeed then Numa doesn't succeed so they want nothing but the best for their models. I recommend Numa over any other agency. Despite being very busy, they always have time for their talent.

I do NOT recommend NUMA models. Numa is a scam, looking for money. I payed $800 for a photo shoot (to be come a Numa model) and they wont even send me my photos. I have been trying to contact them for 2 months now and no one will respond to me, Via phone & email. Numa just kept asking me to pay more money for different photo shoots. All Numa models want is your'e money, and your'e not going to make any money back. This place is a joke.

I ve been with NUMA models for just under a year now and I can not say enough good things. Personally Numa models has giving me the opportunity to do many amazing things. Recently I have gone to LA , California with Twyla ( Made of Stars ) from Numa, she is a former international model that knows all the ins and outs of the business. My experience in the LA trip was incredible I grew so much not only as a model but mentally. Twyla is an amazing person to have by your side on this modelling journey. NUMA has been a great agency so far. I am not even a month into developing with them and have already been giving many great opportunities. Not even a week after signing with them I flew to Toronto for 15 days to meet with many different agencies and had the opportunity to shoot with at least 7 local photographers. They even have international opportunities already!

I have just recently been added to the Calgary Numa rosters the experience has been wonderful. From the first day I went in for my first meeting at Numa. I was greeted with a happy smile at the front desk. My interview was not just a typical interview but I truly felt like my agency director Amanda genuinely cared about what we were talking about. THtis is all just the first day. From there, any questions and concerns I have had have been promptly addressed and taken care of. I have a true feeling of belonging with my Numa family.
