Small, but this place is heaven for vegetarians and vegans. The Tom yum soup is a favourite.

Amazing flavors! 100% vegetarian! Very affordable, filling portion sizes. Quick service. Excellent dinner option.
The food here is amazing! Little hole in the wall of a restaurant with very few tables but its totally worth it... even if you end up sitting 2 feet away from someone you don't know!
BE WARNED - their spiciness chart runs 1 star higher than any other Thai restaurant. If you usually order a 3, be sure to make it a 2 here. Other than that the food is delicious, with lots of fresh flavors and a diverse selection of noodles to choose from. Lots of vegan "meat" options too - I recommend the "duck" and "chicken". The rice pudding desert is great too.
If you're a vegetarian/vegan, you'll love this place! I take out from here regularly and my favourite dish is the Ginger eaters, a stir-fry.
This is THE place to go for vegan curry or noodles in Seattle. A little whole in the wall on Capitol Hill, this restaurant quickly serves up wonderful dishes with fragrant scents, amazing taste (seriously, THE BEST curry), and lots of spice! I usually get a 4/5 spiciness at Thai places but I have to get 3 here. Prices are decent, staff is quick and friendly but a little curt, and they have vegan duck which is delicious!!!
Huge portions, good quality food, reasonable price.
All vegan restaurant. Excellent food. Very little space, gets crowded and hard to find free parking.
This is the most amazing Thai place. The food is absolutely delicious, low cost and they give you a large portion. I always leave stuffed full of delicious goodness.
I ordered Green Curry with tofu. Vegetables in my dish were stale and one of the green bean had two black holes in it. There could be warm inside in such vegetables. Upon complaining she told me it s ok and don t worry. You are all good and nothing is going to happen to you. Then she is like, Are you from India right? Don t they grow vegetables in dirty water and sell stale vegetables with worms? . She was making different weird faces while speaking. I am complaining this business to Food and Health dept. of Seattle, King County. Don t go here unless you want to eat stale vegetables which might have worms. Be careful!
OMG! Amazing! So much flavor, so well done! And where else can you order vegan beef, duck, chicken, & prawns?!
Very nice vegetarian food. Panang curry was delicious.
Don't go on the face of the restaurant it's not A class on the inside but the food is very nice. And don't forget the Thai ice tea/coffee.
Delicious vegetarian fare that even satisfied the fans of meat in our group
Fantastic vegetarian food surprisingly awful staff service.
I had heard great things about this place, i came with great expectations! But I probably won't be coming back. The food wasn't bad, but it also wasn't up to the rave reviews in so many "best of" lists. The biggest problem was the service. I stopped in during an epic day of errands, seeking a place to slow down for a while and savor a meal. When I arrived, two other people were seated, but they finished quickly, making me the only person there. Despite an abundance of seats, the waitress rushed me through the meal very obviously and rudely after only about 15 minutes of being there. It's not a place to sip tea and gaze out the window or have a relaxed meal, folks, which is sad because the space is perfect for some well-earned repose. I don't know what they do when the place is empty, but it must be fun because they want you in and out. She dropped the check as soon as I reached for my dessert, brought a to-go box to my table even though I did not ask for it, repeatedly asked me if i needed anything else, and generally treated me with a particular chipper contempt. The cherry on top was after she ran my card, I put off signing the receipt for a few minutes while I finished my drink. She soon appeared at my table and insisted i sign it right then in front of her. When I asked her why, she said something about needing to close the register for lunch. I asked if they were closing and she said no. They didn't close til 9 and this was about 4 pm. It didn't make sense. As I gathered my things carefully, she said "goodbye" in an overly excited voice to me several times. Again, I was the only person in the restaurant. What was going on? I don't know but I felt I was being discriminated against for some unknown reason. I doubt they treat regular customers this way, or maybe they just prefer very fast moving people! A stressful experience, not the peaceful time out one should be able to find in an empty restaurant. Very unwelcoming, cannot recommend!
This is one of the best Thai places I have ever had, and I have traveled the world including Thailand, love Thai food, and am not a vegetarian.
Try your favorite dish with their delicious chewy udon noodles and veg beef. You will not regret it.
Fresh, friendly, and pleasantly spicy! I had a shredded mango and bean noodle special that was exactly right for a summer lunch.
Comfy vegan - vegetarian Asian restaurant serving many excellent episodes !
The food was amazon and spicy. Be sure to choose medium to low level of spicy. The meat is all fake/ imitation
One of my favorite places to come to when I visit Seattle. I always get the cashew pineapple fried rice with tofu since I can t find anything like it in my home town. Look elsewhere for ambience, but come here for amazing comfort food, served hot and fast.
It is by far one of the best places to eat for a vegetarian in the Seattle area. The food is amazing, the decor reminds me of India and even though its a little cramped and wait times do get into the 10s of minutes during peak times, its well worth the wait.
Insanely good noodles! Definitely coming back here. We got the thai coconut chicken noodle and jungle noodle. A bit spicy, just the way we like it!
The food tastes AMAZING!!! There is nowhere else that gives you the option of having wide noodles with Phad Thai! #musthavemore
Great service, cheap and great food. I'm not vegetarian but I'd go back again.
Amazing vegetarian food. I really love their cashew and pineapple fried rice.
Gigantic menu with about any Asian soup you can think of. Not a ton of seating.
Awesome place for vegan food with a huge menu. On the downside, the building is super small, and feels crowded with only a few people in it.
The noodles were good and they didn t skimp out on the veggies.
Small family owned restaurant with a great selection of vegetarian Thai options.
The food was delicious and the service was incredibly quick
The pineapple fried rice here is absolutely delicious
This place is close great food great place to just kinda chill an hangout sometimes too
I love this place! I told my roommate after bring her here that I would bathe in the Yellow Curry Noodle Soup if I could. Really, I could eat here every day but I would gain too much weight! Highly recommended. They have vegan "meat" options if you want to go with an omnivore who might be hesitant. The staff is friendly and the wait time is short whether dining in or taking out!
my favorite noodle spot! great portions, the spice is incredible, hands down best udon noodles i ve ever had. they used to be all vegetarian (which i LOVED) but now they ve started to use meat and lowered their vegetarian meat options.
Great place for vegans/vegetarians to get some spicy, flavorful noodles and rice.
Amazing service, the food is sooooo good!!! Vegan and vegetarian options, some meals come with desert which was also amazing!
This place is fantastic sometimes and not so fantastic sometimes.
Awesome vegetarian noodle dishes. Brings me back to Thailand every time.
Mango and salad noodle was one of the best dishes i have had in a while. They used raw mango and tofu was nicely cooked.
Really enjoyed this place, we ordered around 5 items including curries, noodles and satay tofu and all were perfect. The food gets very spicy, we went with spice level 3 and it was perfect for us but we like our spicy food. The service was great granted it being a hole in the wall spot. I'll be back here every trip to Seattle.
Food was pretty good... cleanliness was questionable at best...
It is a great vegetarian place to enjoy food that present the complex profile of Thai influenced cuisine.
Space is little limited. Please give compliment to the host and the chief. They work really hard and create such a unique taste profile that will ingredients will dancing on your tongue while eat.
Enjoy!
I am not a vegetarian but this place is delicious for everyone! The waitress who served my friend, who is a vegetarian, and I was very sweet and recommended a delicious coconut curry dish. The dish was very spicy at 3 stars so be aware of the spice level you order if you don't like spice. I will definitely be back.
A VEGAN paradise with so many excellent choices! Working through the menu on subsequent visits is a delightful task.
Very yummy completely vegetarian place!
We ordered the green bowl curry noodle soup with udon noodles between 2 people. Quanitity was great and taste was fantastic. We got a 4/5 on the spice level but I would probably get a 2 or 3 for the next time I come here (and I love spicy food).
Will definitely be returning - be sure to check it out!
I used to go out of my to come here several times a week. Ever since they changed to no longer be a vegetarian restaurant, I haven t been back. It used to be unique and vegan. Now it just blends in with all the rest of the local Thai places so I don t go out of my way
Great place for vegetarian and vegan food. The food is spicy and delicious. Very much recommend it
'In the bowl' is an Asian-inspired vegan restaurant in Seattle and probably my most favourite restaurant in this city. They are a small hole in the wall type of place with very minimal seating. Their food is sensational and their portions are generous. I ordered this Eggplant fried rice with a home made chili sauce and tofu, soo soo good. Pretty much everything we ordered was spectacular, I also liked their Khow suey which was their special last week. If I am in Seattle I will be eating here, most non vegans I know also love this place.
Small place kind of old looking and no decorations. The food was fantastic, very tasty. We ordered the N20 duck noodle soup and C7 duck curry. The noodle bowl (more like giant spoon) was plentiful. But the C7 was something else, it was creamy, bold, flavorful, and colorful. Missed one star because of the service. Server seemed bothered but us ordering by item number. Will be back for the food.
Really yummy vegan/ vegetarian dishes. If you're sensitive to spicy, their spiciness level is slightly spicier than normal so just be careful when ordering :) The "melting culture" appetizer is really tasty.
Great authentic taste, purely vegetarian, they have gluten free or diary free items on the menu too., although the host can be a bit patient/sweet.
Once you are wondering Noodle Time used to be In the Bowl. The food has always been terrific here, this totally vegetarian restaurant does a stellar job with flavors and cooks all their vegetables just right. Of all the meats they have their beef is my go to as far as favor and texture goes. In the fall they have pumpkin noodle soup which is my all time favorite dish they make. As far as none fall themed items go Thai Peanut Sauce Noodle was a favorite of mine before I developed a peanut allergy. Ginger Asparagus was another favorite in my household. You can also expect either an orange slice at the end of your meal, or amazing black rice pudding! With the change to to Noodle time they did loss a lot of the menu items I loved, and the price for pumpkin noodle soup with vegetarian beef went up $3. These changes are the reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5.
We ordered Royal noodle and Lost in the jungle noodle. Jungle noodles had way tooo much tumeric and both of items weren't mixed well with the sauce. I used to really like this place and this is my first order after renovation and probably the last one. Disappointed
One of the best Thai food in Capitol Hill though not fancy. I have been there twice, we ordered Tom Yum Soup the second time it was an Indian themed curry. The food is nice, serves good quantity.
The yellow curry noodle soup with beef was amazing.
Love the Spicy Cashew nut noodles. The fake meat is delicious with the noodles. Usually crowded in the weekends and hard to find parking nearby.
Man maybe we orderes wrong, but the food here was just kinda bad. Very mediocre, but decently cheap, I guess?
Mostly remember gluey noodles and overly spicy but otherwise blade sauces.
My favorite vegan Thai food place! They ve really good pot stickers and I love their N1 (tamarind and peanut sauce noodles) and chili paste noodles
This is seriously one of the BEST Thai places I've ever eaten at. And it's all vegetarian making it even better. Affordable and delicious. I'll be back!
Wonderful vegetarian soup and other Asian treats. Very little seating, but they have take-out.
Had a tough time deciding due to a very big and diverse menu. Ended up going with the spring rolls because I was craving some raw veggies and the garlic Mania because the person next to me had it and it look delicious. I got mine with udon noodles. Both were good, especially the noodles. I thought the spring rolls were a little expensive but it did come with six good-sized pieces. I wish they had a small side soup option. The noodle dish was great, hot and fresh. The food came out fast but seemed fresh. The server was attentive at checking to see if I was ready to order and filling up my water. Would go again.
This is a nice small local vegetarian noodle bistro. The food is good and the vegetables are always fresh. Some of the meat substitute is weird, but most of it is really tasty. They also give free dessert with each meal, I think it is a kind of rice pudding. Great place to try if you are looking for something different.
I usually get their fresh rolls. They are served with a tasty peanut sauce. Another item I get is the garlic mania noodle made with udon noodle for an extra $2. Free dessert is provided which is a pudding. This place serves many other vegetarian dishes.
Amazing spicy food!! I m not sure if I should call it Thai or Indian or something exotic, the dishes were really tasty and good spicy!! I ll definitely go back again!
Not edible. The food has so much oil, even in a noodle soup. The waitresses are loud and rude. They give you only a small amount of real vegetables, but the rest is just starch. The place has an open kitchen; it's smoky and makes your clothes smelly. Just unhealthy junk.
I have enjoyed every dish I've ever tried here? All vegetarian menu too.
Excellent vegetarian food. Fast service. I wish I lived here so I could try out more of the fake meats!
Hole in the wall place. Fantastic options.for vegetarians. Loved the Khao Soi. Portions were huge and I couldn't finish mine.
Great vegetarian place and a lot of different fake meat options. Note that it's pretty spicy to begin with when choosing your spice level.
I had a flat rice noodle dish with cashews and mock duck. It was very good, but not quite great. My wife had a great pumpkin curry.
I dream about their cashew nut and pineapple fried rice with beef
Pick a noodle dish, they're all legit. Space is a little cramped, but they're quick.
Efficient service for a quick, satisfying bite of stir-fry.
This is one of my husband's favorite spots in the city. Great noodle and rice dishes. All vegetarian, with a variety of fake meat options (although I prefer the tofu). And most dishes can be made vegan.
Extremely overrated. I m not one to complain much but had to post our experience as we felt very mislead by the other reviews.
Yes the portions were big & it s fast & cheap, but the veggies didn t taste fresh or flavourful. We had the avocado curry & a noodle soup. Both tasted very sweet and a little spicy but there was no depth of flavour. Place is small, crammed & very unclean
