Mt. Hermon Conference Center Review

Mount Hermon transforms lives. My favorite memories were created at this incredible place.

Mount Hermon is by far one of my favorite camps that you can ever go to.

The location of Mount Hermon is actually stunning! You are surrounded by God s creation in all kinds of ways. You look around at the redwood trees, the flowing creek, the ferns, the grass, and everything else there.

You are surrounded by wildlife scurrying around. You might see turkeys up in the mountains. You might see a squirrel climb in a tree. You re sure to see some birds fly in front of you.

If you re looking for a place to take your family for a retreat your students to connect with God this is the place for you.

My family has been coming here for the last number of summers. It feels like I ve seen my kids grow up at this location. We enjoy connecting with God with others. We enjoy worshiping through music. We enjoyed the teaching from God. The children/student activities are top notch.

Loved going to MH all the time. Want my kids to have the same love for MH that I had.

Great place for a retreat. Set in the Santa Cruz mountains in the town of Scott's Valley. I've been going there for 10 years. Great place to be one with God.

Peaceful and beautiful place, well-managed retreat center. It has a small book store with great Christian book collections.

For a retreat campsite, the food is decent and the area is nice. The lodging is ok, definitely can use some updates.

Awesome program for anyone. Couples, young families, and even families with teens will have a great time on the ropes course, exploring the trails and enjoying the family camp programs in general.

My late-husband and I got engaged to be married at the patio behind the auditorium at Mt. Hermon in 1968. We learned so much about out walk with the Lord there in the following years.

Mt Hermon is a great place for group conferences where limited connectivity is desired. Close to Santa Cruz and San Jose, the conference center is nestled in redwoods for easy hiking, beach, or big city amenities. In addition, the campground have ropes courses, gym with volleyball/basketball courts, an activity center w/ ping pong tables, pool table, and foosball, an outdoor swimming pool, and large field for group activities.

Mount Hermon is a great place to meet the Lord. I have been going to mount Hermon for 15 years and it is just such a holy place. Their act on ministry is so pure. They have a place for every age. Ponderosa is there teaching area for high school. It can be rented out or you can sent your kid to summer camp. Then redwood camp is there camp for middle School. And they also have a place for the intire family to Bond together in the conference area. This place is such a cool place to visit even if you don't believe in anything. THIS IS MUST SEE PLACE.

Great Christian camp. They have various group camps throughout the year. We like the All Comers which is a weekend camp for anyone over the president's day holiday. Great sessions, lots of food, afternoons are free for exploring, napping, activities (my wife and I did the zip lining. Fun, but not for those queasy about heights. They have good protocols so you are always strapped in, but you are still on treetop platforms 100s of feet up in the redwood canopy). Also have youth summer camps.

The most thoughtful staff you will find at any property like this one. The facilities are outstanding, but it is the humans that set this place apart.

Absolutely beautiful campus. Tall redwoods, swimming pool, shops, trails. A hidden gem in the Santa Cruz mountains.

Always looking forward to mid January to go there for the gathering of the orders retreat. I felt the Holy Spirit at this place by it's fresh atmosphere and trees. Really is a place of spiritual renewing.

The retreats I have been to here have always recharged my spirit. The place is so beautiful. The food and staff are top shelf.

Not a hotel as Google says, but rather a campground in the woods. They hold family camps regularly over the summer and large groups can also reserve the site for their own special events. Previously have held company camps for the likes of Apple, Facebook, and even Google. Various church groups from around the world have camped here before too. Camp activities include ziplining, ropes course, kayaking, swimming, anything that can be done on a basketball court, a field for multiple ground sports, rock climbing walls, and several hiking trails. There's also a small gift shop and a food store called "The Fountain" where you can but ice cream, shakes, candy, and other concession type food (hot dogs, nachos, etc)

If you're a Christian you need to visit this place. It's a local treasure. Nestled in the thick of the Redwood forests, it is serene, beautiful, contemplative. If you're here for the speakers, they do not disappoint with their solid, Christian, Biblical teaching. If you're here for the adventure, they have an extensive canopy ropes course which challenges children and adult adventurers alike. Their family camp is an unforgettable experience for the whole family. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Beautiful! What a great staff, everything moves flawlessly. Good food, great speakers. Will be back, although I will probably upgrade my room a little. Nice to have different price points.

Love family camp. We go every year and it is better than Disneyland. Got to try the zip line tour and the ropes course.

Wonderful place to take a family for a week vacation

This is a Holy place and truly, Jesus is calling you to come and meet with Him. If you do not know Jesus Christ the King of Kings, come, come and leave with the light of the world burning deeply inside of you. Holy Spirit you are welcome here, our long for your presence.

This is a great place to come if you're looking to get away and connect with God.

Very relaxing and everything is easy to get to by walking

Excellent facilities for a psuedo camping experience. Accomidations range from small rustic cabins to hotel like rooms. Very comfortable. This is not a resort. This is a conference center, with a camp feel in a redwood forest. The food is good, facilities are well kept, and staff is top notch. Yes, this is a conference center that prides itself in its expertise in outdoor and camping experiences. That's what makes it so special.

Attended every year since first grade except one and have such happy memories. The pancake breakfast actually got me out of bed early without any coaxing!

The youth from my church held a retreat here last winter, it was my first time there but I ABSOLUTELY loved it!!!!! the grounds magnificent, the cabins marvelous, the service stupendous!!!! definitely coming back this year!!! Keep up the excellent service Mount Hermon.

There is as much nature in the inside as there is outside! And don't worry, you don't need a grill, the heater is good enough. If you want a new pet mouse, just look under the bed! If you want to bring a dog, be sure to have them try the "gourmet food". Where there is chicken-less chicken, and bacon that is better for a dog than a human. Be sure to look at the bathrooms, these people are smart enough to use filth as a decoration. Forget the cabins, you'll be just as happy living among the black widows outside. These people are smart, they dont allow cell-phones because they want to avoid the health inspector.

I've been to a few different retreats here and stayed in each of the different levels of accommodations and would highly recommend Mount Hermon! The staff is friendly, the programming is excellent, the food is good with a lot of variety, and there are plenty of fun recreation options for your downtime. It's such a beautiful and peaceful retreat from everyday life.

My family has been coming to Mount Hermon for 18 consecutive summers, and the impact that Family Camps have had on our lives is beyond measure. We've grown spiritually from the exceptional biblical teaching, been refreshed from spending time among the beauty of the redwoods, built relationships with staff and other Christ-centered families, and made many of our favorite memories there. Mount Hermon isn't just another vacation spot - it's a place where lives and families truly are transformed, and my wife and I look forward to coming with our children (and someday their children) for many years to come!

Beautiful tranquil place perfect for spirituality and meditation. Food and housing was great(food was very salty though)

Mount Herman is a great camp for kids, teenagers, and families. They have some great shows, and the people are wonderful!

This is a fantastic place for a concert. I would also love to go to a retreat there, the setting is lovely. The food was good too!

Was there for the Christmas program and dinner. The food was excellent and the chorus and orchestra from William Jessup University were great. Fun festive evening.

We had a great experience at Family Camp -- so many activities to choose from, and great food. My son's eager to go again and told us that it was the best week of his life!

Peaceful place for a retreat. Conference facilities for large groups of up to several hundred people. Accommodation is basic but comfortable. Beautiful setting in the Santa Cruz Mountains, surrounded by redwood forest. Space for walks.
