Older hotel but the staff were helpful and friendly

Its a nice place but their advertising is ridiculous. They have the dumbest TV commercial I have ever heard. "just like Vegas used to be?" Who wants to go somewhere thats like somewhere else before it got better? And the people they use to advertise wouldnt have been born yet. They try to appeal to a younger crowd when it is usually an older crowd that you see there, and them that give them the business. They need to update their commercials, the one they have now sucks.

Used to gamble here whenever I passed through town. Stopped in this last time and was not as impressed as I used to be. Many of their slot machines seem to be out of date, and the selection is not that great. During my game play, I was there for about 3 hours, and managed to get served 1 drink. I'm neutral on this place.

Mesquite is fun and more reasonably priced than Vegas and it has some quality golf courses.

We stayed at the RV park behind Casablanca Casino. The facility was clean and everything worked properly. The pool and customer service was fantastic. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that I didn't get to stay in the room so I can't give you an opinion on that. The gaming was fun and entertaining. If you need a place to stay on a long drive stay here.

Unfortuanely this place is not as good as it once was... better to just drive the extra few hours and go to vegas.

Had an amazing time everyone was nice the slots weren't to tight or anything like that .
Bingo was amazing I was so happy to play Bingo after so long of not being able to play it because of the because of the pandemic that is going around which is really lame .
but this is a great place to have fun & Gamble and just have fun

Less than par for sure! Dirty walls and dirty remote.. seriously the little details are GROSS never staying here again. The Virgin River has less price and more class and clean rooms.

Rooms and the Spa are not maintained or updated in 10+ years oil on the spa floors carpet in the rooms is all torn up and has tears in it, bathroom tile is missing grout and has mold spots.

The casino was pretty good and the rooms weren't bad either. There were a few things broken, but not a big deal.

For our "special time", we love to drive to Mesquite's Casinos for a great weekend. We gamble, enjoy the spa, and treat ourselves to a great dinner in one of the steakhouses in Mesquite, NV. It's at least a 3-4 day weekend just to be able to enjoy everything!

The rooms are ok. The pool is decent. However the entire experience is ruined by the staff being hyper-obsessive over masks. They are rudely forcing children to wear masks in the pool. They are creeping up behind you and interrupting your poolside conversation to tell you to cover your nostrils. I don t agree with masks in the pool, it is unsafe and we will not be back.

machines were tough and then finally loosened. up waitress Brittani was great

Starting with the good, the bed was very comfortable. They had $5 table games which was nice. The desk staff were incredibly rude and just ruined the whole stay. The restaurants did not look at all appealing and he bad reviews and lastly there is only one elevator bank so you may have a log walk to your room.

The Virgin Hotel was a mess it was this lousy they was pathetically dirty I couldn't even take a bath

Great well taken care of and fun place to gamble, great food well worth the price you can smoke in the casino while playing as well.

1) The standard guest rooms are really basic; but so is the price, ESPECIALLY when the temperatures on the local thermometer start to climb.

2) Approaching $20 for six Bud Lights from the gift shop, when all I want to do is relax in my room for a evening? I know the casino absolutely doesn't want me to relax in my room, but hey, I'll get around to the other stuff, too. (Trust me.)

3) Pool is ok, but I FAR prefer the pool at the Holiday Inn Express just up the road, though the rooms there are always much more expensive.

4) Cafe food has traditionally been good. The service, while usually coming across as feeling "scripted," has always been good.

5) Front desk service has always been good, but like the cafe, comes across as "feeling scripted" a lot of the time.

6) Valet service has always been great. No complaints.

7) The casino area has generally seemed clean and orderly, as far as casino floors go.

8) Security, to me, now seems to be more of the "hall monitor" type than actual security, unlike in past decades. That said, I've never personally encountered any security issues when I've stayed here. (That dates back to before when the Casablanca was called such.)

9) Used room service dishes seem to lay on the corridor floors for a long time before being picked up; often overnight and well into the next morning.

10) Not crazy about their beds these days, but that's just me. Tolerable, but not overly desirable. (Again, that's just how they feel to me.)

Nice place to take your RV for a couple of days. Good food at the Casa Blanca casino cafe. Check in at the front of the hotel.

Just Ok! I wasn't there for personal. Could have been better though. I will definitely go deck, no worries.

Stay at this location multiple times over the years. Clean rooms and wonderful service. During the warmer months the pool area is great for families. It has a water slide and waterfall. Thus location also has wonder places to eat like Katherine's and the buffet. Crab and steak night at the buffet is the best.

Casa Blanca has been our choice to stay in mesquite for close to 30 yrs, including when it was players island, great place to stay, play and swim, as well as dine, once there, there's no reason to leave, we stay for several days, it is the best, all around casino and hotel, accommodations and food and spirits, highly recommend to anyone, definitely 5 stars

A place you can get away from Las Vegas. About little over hour drive. They always have a package of spa or golf. Great swimming for whole family. In the evening , you can choose there coofee shop or make a reservation to Katherine restaurant a excellent meal.

The good at Casablanca was terrible will not go back.

It's a good place to do a stop over and eat at the well stocked buffet. I am not a smoker, so that's a bit bothersome to me.

i really recommend this place.its far from las vegas so the trouble is far away.especially good for singles looking to relax and i imagine a fantastic place to get away as a family also.im an uncle and i told my sister n brother that ide so much want my neices to have fun in this breathtaking environment.
walking around outside at night is good exercise.the hot tubs are huge. theres a spa that offers manicures n pedicures or even a eucalyptus steam room.
the buffet is awesome.
slot machines.sports betting.
super place to enjoy 2 to 3 nights at i bet.
cable package includes 4 showtime channels.beds are big and comfortable.

Mesquite Gaming ( Virgin River Hotel) My family n I spent a lot of money at this place with rooms, dining , gambling my dad's car was hit n ran. Cameras every where on the premisis must be broke? My dad didn't realize he needed to book our room ahead of time for new years seems how we had been there for two weeks the casino kicked my parents out on the street. The ppl who work at the Virgin River are uncaring for there customers. There rude and treat you as though your a burden... Besides the Knights inn in Evanston Wyoming this Motel is the most unpleasant place we have ever stayed in... ..

Love going there prices on rooms are good place is clean workers there are very nice great for vacation or a staycation

Really fun Casino w easy access. Fair Gaming chances. Clean and Good crowd!

Resort is nice, but busy enough that the customer service doesn't measure up. We booked a double handicap room and upon arrival, were told none were avail and they could give us ten dollars off another room. Manager was too busy to talk to us. Disappointing

My main complaint is the smoke in the casino area otherwise I had a good time.

Reasonable prices, comfortable rooms, good food, and nice selection of amenities. My granddaughter says the waitstaff was handsome and charming.

The Buffet is excellent. Friday night seafood is worth the cost.

Always loved these locations but have heard lately about a patron being allowed to use the restroom while sitting at a machine quite frequently, enough that the chairs have to be disenfected daily. And that to me is unhiegenic and should be addressed.

Good place to gamble....Would be five stars if there was less cigarette smoke....

I do not like this little town I hate it Las Vegas is were I really live Las Vegas is the best

I had a great time at the car show while staying at the Casablanca. Rooms are clean. Food was good. Entertainment was great. I will rebook a room in the future . O i had a small problem with the shower drain .the front desk took care of it write away.

Our heart felt appreciation to the Casa Blanca for their Veteran day free meals. We would estimate that 95 % of the folks were veterans and with participating spouses. The reception line was continuous, so we are sure this represents a considerable expense for the Casa Blanca. The food and service were great (friendly and hard working staff). As we sit and ate our breakfast, I couldn't help but reflect on how blessed we veterans are to be here with this and how many thousands of young men gave it all in far off places and would never enjoy these moments.

Have lived in Mesquite for 12 years in Sun City Del Web. Love the casinos, slot tourneys, Bingo, free food, just the atmosphere. No traffic whatsoever!

Great customer service and really nice pool clean rooms

This casino has the worst service I've ever seen. After playing for 30 minutes and being down $50 I decided to ask the cocktail waitress for a strawberry daiquiri. The cocktail waitress looked at my machine, which was down to 10 cents at the time and said "oh, you need to be playing more than that to order a cocktail." I told her that I had been playing and that I was just about to add more when she walked by. She continued to argue with me and be rude. I never get that kind of treatment at the Eureka. I will never gamble at the Casa Blanca ever again!!!!

This is our new go-to place. Worth the extra hour drive. We liked everything about Casa Blanca. The low key atmosphere is so much more pleasant than Las Vegas. We drove to St. George to see Sound of Music in the outdoor theatre. We stayed 3 nights left very relaxed. We actually won. Jimmy and Donna from Palm Springs.

Spent weekend for the Super Run car show. Treated great with excellent food, accommodations and venue for show. All prices were a throw back to Nevada value priced weekends. Will be back again.

We are staying in the RV Park. It's clean and presentable. For whatever reason, they have us right next to someone else, despite the park being nearly empty. The casino and hotel are terrific. But my biggest complaint is that even though they claim to have WiFi service for the RV park, they do not. It's in the casino and hotel only. Very frustrating.

If you live in Las Vegas or St. George this is a very nice little "get out of town. "

Nice idea for a night get away.

My friend made reservations for the two of us to have a day at the spa an get a massage an relax. Well, when we got there they only had one reservation, boy were we disappointed. The staff didn't seem to be bothered that they messed up, no sorry or let's see what we can do for you. Not a friendly staff really to say the least. A discount would have been nice for our inconvenience. Get dependable people to work.

Casinos aren't really my thing, but the place is pretty nice.

Casino and Spa are great. Cafe is okay. Skip the rooms.

Pool was nice. Not crowded. Rooms, casino and servers outdated. Could use a complete upgrade and new hires.

Use to be very accommodating. But when they knew they would be updating their system for 4 days. They should tell you before you book your rooms. Not after you drive 400 miles. You can't use any of your food offers, comp Dollars,and had to get your room rekeyed every day. Not to mention you couldn't cash out any amount. You had to wait for an attendant. 4 disappointing days. The only good thing is the staff are very polite and personable.

Fun time . Old Vegas Flare. Elvis Tuesdays. Bartenders service oriented.Video poker.RELAXED atmosphere.

Rooms need updating, but it's clean and relatively inexpensive. Pool is awesome.

Katherine's was great! High end dining that doesn't leave the common man feeling like he doesn't belong. Wait staff was courteous, quick, and informative. The meal was exceptional. A very nice getaway!

No shampoo and conditioner in the room, only two small pillow for bed, WiFi sucks( You can't make even a phone call)

Stayed at casa blanca and we loved our room and room services was so fast. We ate at katherines for dinner and the food and services was amazing. We spent the night playing on the tables and listening to the live band. Overall it was a great night.
