They have overnight parking. My appt was at 8am. I arrived at 330am but I didnt check in until 720 am because I was tired. I got a dock at 735 and they finished unloading me around 930 am. I had to check into receiving and they tell you how much the lumper fee is. Preston was nice. He was the guy who handled the payment and unloaded my trailer. The lot has plenty of room for backing. I delivered to the grocery side.
Seems like this place could care less about appointment times. Only giving one star because of the huge overnight truck parking that's available along with the rest rooms and vending machines they have for drivers, other than that this place sucks.
Drop and Hook. They make you park and walk to guard shack then let you know where to go from there. Pretty fast in and out.
Little dude in receiving office has an attitude. Won t bring my paperwork. Been here for hour and a half for a drop and hook! Watching live unloads come and go. Whats his problem?
It all depends on when you get here and who you deal with. 0600 appt on a Friday at Grocery Receiving FTL. Got a door 30min before appt time, bills signed and in hand 45min after bumping the dock.
Nice facility with overnight parking and friendly staff. Unloading did take a while though.
Pretty decent place. Arrived at 0300 for a 0400 apt. Got a door at 4:45 and was unloaded with paper work in hand at 0600. They also have a big overnight lot.
Park in the lot and walk your bills to the guard house.

Nice people that work here. Fast unloading and paper work times. They have a staging area where you can park overnight. They have restrooms and vending machines in the staging area up by the guard shack. Guys at the guard shack are super nice. I would go back here again.
Great over night parking with 2 private restroom facilities. I come here often, and always enjoy it.

Late for appointment due to Shipper taking too long to load our trailer. Had to take a 10 hour break using E-Logs. Told us it would be 1500 before they could get to us. At 1500 they said they meant 0300 Saturday morning. Went to leave facility and hand the gate pass in to the guard. Security would not let him leave. They said they were going to put him to a door. Been there over 5 hours with his clock running. The saga continues....Sadly I believe they may have just violated several laws, especially if they do not get him unloaded in a timely fashion.
Holy cow.. good thing I get detention pay. There's just no excuse for making driver's wait 9 hours. 6 to unload, and 3 hours and counting on just paperwork. Absolutely unacceptable.
Terrible place... forget about your appointment time, be prepared to be here for hours.

Docked 430am, it's 930am & still in dock. $350 lumper fee ... they do have vending machines and restrooms everywhere including out front with parking.
2 star for overnight parking only ! Other than that be ready to spend some time here

Pretty organized here. The staff is friendly. Be prepared for lumper service. Because of covid you just chill in the truck. Not super fast but not slow...my wait time was about 3 hrs for everything...from check in to exit

Hello everyone. I had appointment at 5 am. Checked in 11 pm previous day. 10:30 am still here. Now waiting for paperwork. You spend your sleep time here. Too slow.
I cannot believe it took me 48 hours from the time I got there and checked in at 12:45. My appointment time was 4 in the morning. Then they called me back to the back pot at 1:45 told me to go to a certain slot and wait then they called me a little bit after 4 put me in the door for two pallets and it took them seven and a half hours from the time I checked in from the time I left that is unbelievable for two pallets.
They will take you early, lumper fee, parking, clean restrooms and good break room
The most organized receiver yet. The attitudes of the people were a breath of fresh air. In and out in 2 hours. Wish all receivers were that smooth. Overnight parking.
This place is the worst arrived at 830pm appointment was at 1am now its 334am trailer not even touched oh and cost me $154 to unload stay away from MDI worst place ever rip off what am i paying $154 for so they can unload me in 12hrs

Fine as far as check in and time to a door. 25+ parking spots at the gate. Seems to be very picky with produce. Rejected a load of potatoes that I would have bought if they were in a store. I guess I don't understand how their quality control people make decisions. If the broker gets them to buy them at a lower price, I'll know they rejected them only to get a better deal.
Edit: I have found out that these folks were right to reject the load. The place they were sold to explained the poor quality issues to me.

Typical grocery warehouse, go in park, walk to guard shack and once they have a door they will call you in. Took about 4 hours to unload.

Quick unload of course $$$ money talks . They took me an hour early. Lots of room to park if you get here early. Restrooms 2 and vending machines in truck waiting area . This place has a Cafeteria with vending machines that have real food in them , vending machines except credit cards. This place is one of the better food warehouses.
Well it is a good place to deliver to! However, $200.00 to unload 9 skids is downright THEFT!! They won't let you do the work yourself because of Covid-19 they don't want you on the property so they set their own price and you have no choice!
Appt set at 4am. Called back at 5am. Unloaded by 6am. Only 4 skids though. Everyone I dealt with were super cool. Lots of overnight parking. Also have vending machines and bathrooms!! How bout those apples
They have overnight truck parking. Vending machines and a restroom near guard shack. All staff are friendly and helpful. Usually unloaded within 2 hours of appointment time.

Typical east coas DC BS. Starting with low life minimum vage guards who see themselves as above everyone else because they have little authority to tell truck drivers what to do. Once you come to the gate and guard check they tell you have to park and walk to the guard check and check in is like 20 seconds.

Overnight parking with restrooms. This is a great place. Should set the standard for all shippers and receivers in this country.
Owner operators make sure to charge enough and have in black and white detention agreement. Be ready to wait over 5 hours....
My apt was at 2am, checked in at 9pm, Got door at 5:30am and was empty at 7:45am. Not bad I say. Big facility, lot of parking before gate, restroom on site. Easy and simple to get in a door for rookie drivers. :)
Had a partial load, took 2.5 hours to unload, knowing I had 2 other drops and would be fined for being late. Capstone and MDI receiver talks to you like you are are a dog. They do have over night parking, but is not handicap friendly at all Not a driver friendly place at all!! Slow as hell and then told by receiving they DO NOT pay detention...bid your load accordingly for the extra time!!
Don't ever go there to deliver unless you have PLENTY of time on your hands to do nothing!!!
As soon as I got here at 5am I got a door, and then that was it. 5+ hours and still not loaded and I have to drive 800 miles by tomorrow morning. I m not going home on time, thanks you guys.

Decent place just don't agree with Capstone being in place. If you order a product then you need to unload it. These companies need to stop with the extra charges for lumpers. Companies and drivers struggle enough. Do your job as a company and unload what you ordered!
Plenty of overnight staging. 4 pallets have taken me 3 hours past my appointment. Its throwing me behind for Black Mtn. During the virus, they meet you at your truck for bills and lumper pmnt.
If you're a truck driver they have one way in and one way out. They are a good distance for Monroe, North Carolina. Near the Black Mountains.

Huge place!! But my wait time was almost 2 hrs before they began unloading me. And I was on time for my appointment.

A great place to deliver. Parking before and after you unload, and rest rooms available at the gate and at the receiving office. Personnel were professional and courteous. I was assigned a door within 15 minutes of my appointment, and unloaded in 1.5 hours. Typical east coast lumper fees, $220 for breakdown of 19 pallets. I don't usually come east any more, but would gladly come back here.
they are scammers say that the load was broken in the middle of the trailer to collect the money from your face.

This place wins the most rudest people starting from security guard to all the way check in lady. Security guard just horse playing in the booth and assigning same door to more than one truck. Just ridiculous. Check in lady like you must of heard him wrong. No lady I confirmed with that idiot three time. They just waste your time. Well my appointment is 5am. Checked in 3:30am. You can make good money, but the turn over is high. They expect you to put your life on hold and be at their beck an call.

Been here 4 hours just got a door that being said they have a smoke free property ( yeah that's going to stop me) but if you smoked on the property they are going to charge you a$50 clean up fee for I guess cleaning the air not sure how they do that but oh wait I just got a red light 5 and a half hours later but as we all know the wait has just begun
