Known as the highest point in Melbourne, it overlooks Melbourne's panoramic view from above, and there is a transparent elevator that extends out of the building and requires a little physical strength, courage, and financial resources.

Make sure to visit the eureka skydeck to get a full view of Melbourne city. I strongly recommend the edge experience if you re not afraid of heights. You only pay for the experience, so make sure to bring money to buy your pictures.

its a decent place to checkout the skyline and having bird eye view of melbourne tourist attractions ;);)
they should make the elevator more dramatic with some graphics, light and sound options.. it looks more like going to a business place..

the glass walls have a lot of reflection and so taking pics is a bit of pain. it would be nice if they had edge walk for some real adventure. overall it is a recommended place for good aerial view of melbourne as against the lame ferris wheel.

Great views, beautiful city. The edge however, was very disappointing. It s this amusement attraction where you re in a fully glass room, floors included. Thing was, the glass in the room was very yellowed and dirty, taking away from the experience. Views were actually better from outside the room. Hopefully they clean it soon!

88 Story Rip-off. I am baffled by all the positive reviews of this experience saying its good value, I can only conclude that Eureka is paying for fake reviews. $88 for a family of three to look out a window? where no other service is provided. The skydeck platform if of course $30 extra for a brief ride in a small glass box that you aren't allowed to to take your own photos from (so they can force you to pose for overpriced pictures they try to sell you) The glass box also gets so much glare from the interior lighting that you can barely see out the bottom floor during the day, otherwise the view is no different to the windows inside the building. It's an absolute scam how much this costs for basically nothing.
Yes it's a good view but it's not that different from any other high building and let's face it, Melbourne isn't that exciting to look at.

It has good view of the city, cool for photos. Approximate cost of AUD 59 for family (2 adults and 2 children). The deck is on the 88th floor. It is the largest building in the southern hemisphere.

Really cool experience, I'm scared of heights but still enjoyed it. They do check your bags and put you through a metal detector before going up. The elevator ride is very quick and smooth, 88 Floors in under a minute.

It does not look very high when viewed from below, but you can see the city from the east, west, north, south, and above if you climb the observation deck. As the railway develops and runs frequently, it looks like a model when viewed from above. There was a postbox of the highest point in Australia. Because there is a baggage inspection before getting on the elevator, let's put what is caught in the inspection

The best place to view all Melbourne CBD city view from the deck. The city was amazing by night lights. The glass floor is tried to make horrible with the smashing sound but not so scary, of course the price is high for the fun from the ground level to 88 floor and for the glass floor thrill.

Best experience of Burj Khalifa, John Hancock, Sears Tower, Space Needle, and Empire State Building. On 88th floor, at 1,005 feet, there is a section outside enclosed in a cage. Weather was clear, but stiff winds. Visibility was 25+ miles in every direction.

The view from 88th is simply amazing. We had fun and it was nice experience. Nice compact coffee shop and i really like the idea of posting a letter from the highest post box in Australia. We spend 3 hours there just to see a day view and night view on a single visit. There are 2-3 binoculars(attached but rotatable) which are free of cost to use by visitors if they are keen to poke there nose into nearby buildings(lol). 360 degree view from the tallest building in Southern Hemisphere is priceless. Security guards are very professional and helpful. Only given 4 star because the staff at the counter was too busy using his mobile phone when i was standing there next to him to buy the edge ticket. Told him that i was buying tickets online but there was a glitch in the system and he rudely said its a same price here. FOR YOUR KIND INFORMATION MR I WAS ONLY INFORMING YOU SO THAT YOU COULD LET YOUR MANAGER KNOW ABOUT IT AND THEY CAN ASK IT GUY TO LOOK INTO IT. (If i was you I would have said i am really sorry that you couldn t buy the ticket online i will right away let the concerned department know about it and i am happy to inform you that its the same price as you would pay online. Sorry about the inconvenience caused. ) Rest was all good . Must visit place if you visiting Melbourne. It s suitable for all the age groups. Lift are as fast as rocket so better get ear plugs if you want. I will highly recommend Experience the edge when you up there(not for faint hearted one s) .

The 88th floor is a great way to see the Melbourne skyline and see all the port phillip bay all that ay out to Saint kilda. The glass pushout in the side of the building is so much fun and a little scary. When you are out on the glass look strait down and you can see the building swaying in the wind. Pritty cool.

Wonderful experience at a great price.

Wonderful experience at a great price.
We prepaid online which gave us a discount.
It was a Sunday early afternoon, there were no line ups and wasn't very busy.
The views were superb! Good customer service. Very clean and plenty of space to stand or sit, take photos and enjoy yourself.
We also purchased one of the photos where you pretend to be falling from the building. It was fun and turned out great!!

The Eureka Skydeck is in the 88th floor and you reach there in 38seconds.There are staff members to guide you at every step right from when you enter the elevator to when you step out of it. The entire view of Melbourne from the tallest building(300m approx) is breathtakingly beautiful. Tickets are 25$ per person and you get a student concession. The tickets you purchase is valid till 9.30pm. The view of sunset from here is worth a watch. After sundown, the entire city sparkles with light. There's food, coffee and seating area available. You can spend a good 1.5 hrs here. There's also VR which is 10$ for 2persons. The Edge experience is definitely worth a try which might be a bit scary for many. The edge tickets have to be purchased separately. I would recommend this place for the sunset and the beautiful view of the entire city from the tallest building in Melbourne.
