Bad service and beer was very warm.We complain about it without any results.A no go for us.Good pizza dough

I have been coming here for years. Same management all along. The food is superb most of the time particularly their seafood pasta dishes which I love. A couple of ordering hick ups throughout the years which is not a big deal as they have been resolved very quickly and professionally. Will definitely recommend. Family orientated.

we arrived at 6 o clock and the food came at 7pm that is because if we did not ask when the food arrived we would still be at the resturant and the food was very bad

I have just adjusted my previous four start rating to 5 starts because the quality of food and service has improved accordingly. We are regular eaters in Maximilians since it's opening and the value is outstanding. The quality of food makes you come back and weekly specials make every trip a discovery. As in most places there are good, better and outstanding dishes (that is actually not given in all places) but we were never disappointed in any of our many visits. Go and try. It is worth it!

Good settings and nice staff. But the food is just average.

Maximilians doesn't look like anything else than ordinary Italian restaurant. Pizzas are good, but when you order more classic Italian dishes they really start to shine.
For example seafood pasta has octopus which actually tastes good and texture is perfect, instead of usual tasteless rubber band. Also their sauces have real flavour that I hope that someday I'm able to copy into my home cooking.

One of the best restaurants I have been to. Definitively will come back again.

Delicious food, little bit expensive, very nice place and kind service

Loved it. Fine food with subtle piano music in the back ground.

The pizza was excellent and tasted authentic. The whole place has a very nice atmosphere and staff were very friendly. The only inconvenience I had was that, large groups are not allowed to pay individually.

Food is always good, parking is easy and the waiters are helpful and friendly. Living in Ashbourne, we often go here for celebratory dinner with a family of 7.

We bought our voucher on Pigsback and the deal was amazing
The pianist Jack was in residence on that Saturday night.. and he was just the icing on the cake for the perfect date night ....
I highly recommend Maximilians for every celebration ...

Often go here for lunch and evening dinner. Service and food is excellent

Honestly amazing. I love getting the early bird dinner menu. It is such a good value and the food is of the best quality. Death by Chocolate cake is glorious. I love it so much. The staff are lovely and friendly. And love chatting with the owner, he is a lovely man. Whenever I'm looking for a fancy night out, Maximilians is the best place to go.

Having previously attended on a near weekly basis with my daughter, I won't be stepping back here. They don't respect her rights, so why take her there?

Delicious starter of mussels, absolutely loved my crabmeat lasagna. Wife dug her scallops, and we shared some delightfully fluffy cream puffs for dessert. Top notch!

Originally this was a great place for food, it subsequently became quite poor with service and cleanliness.
However, after quite some time we tried it again, at the weekend, and found that it was back to its heyday. Good food, good service and very clean. Long may it continue.

Had an absolutely delighted time yesterday with my friends. The food quality was amazing, the Crispy Cider Braised Pork Belly was very well done! The best thing were the staff! Monica was very enthusiastic and helpful when we we're picking the orders. Definitely coming back here again!

Went here with my friend with my friend for his birthday and greeted in the door by a waitress who gave us a cheeky remark about being late for our booking although there were only 4 occupied tabels.

The food was perfectly fine and the majority of staff were friendly.

It was nice meal and no rush. Creme brulee I would have preferred hot.

Had the opportunity to swing around to Maximilians Bistro for lunch today. Overall experience of the restaurant was very good. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great. Staff were very polite and welcoming, which made my stay for lunch very pleasant. As for the food, I ordered the crab claws for starters (served with a bit of sauce). They were absolutely gorgeous. There was a good blend of flavours that made that dish a very memorable one. Next I had the spaghetti vongole (as recommended by a dear friend) and that was another very good dish produced by the chef. The presentation was great and the taste of the clams blended with the sauce and the spaghetti was fabulous. Portion sizes were also spot on. I also tried the panna cota which in my opinion was very interesting. It certainly had a twist to it but I liked it. Overall a very memorable experience and I will certainly be returning again very soon. Will I be recommending this restaurant to my friends? Yes....without a doubt......

Some of the best Italian food I've had in Dublin. Staff is awesome and gave us a table during busy periods even without reservation on several occasions. The profiteroles are killer!

Have eaten here many times always fab. My daughter is gluten free and orderd a takeaway tonight. The gluten free pizza was so good we called back twice to check if it was gluten free.

Amazing food, lovely atmosphere and the staff really looked after us. We were there just before Christmas and I am still thinking about my starter!!

We eat downstairs and had a very enjoyable, cosy experience. Had a very tasty pizza and finished with a delicious but light chocolate fudge cake. Good selection of wine too. Staff were very friendly.

Really tasty food and nice atmosphere but don't be extra hungry when you get there cause it takes an hour at least to get the food.

Excellent food, courteous and considerate staff, good value for money. Only little complaint i have is that we were only given a glass full of water rather than a jug for the table. Would highly recommend.
