Marris Pizza Review

I have been going to this restaurant for the past 42 years and I still think their pizza is the best. Their food is just good, whether you eat it there or take it home.

This is the only option for Korean-Chinese in the La Crescenta/La Canada area. Their other location is in Glendale, and is the only option for the same in that area too. It's a solid if unspectacular place for your standard jajangmyun and jjampong. I haven't tried their tangsooyuk (sweet and sour pork) or kangpongi (spicy chicken) so that may be for next time. There is plenty of seating and parking, and the staff there is super nice so it's a good go-to place for your Korean-Chinese food fix, and especially if you are far from K-town.

I grew up eating at Marri's when it was Mario's pizza, and the recipes are the same today as then.

Best Italian takeout spot around. Only other place I compare it to would be Lomelis way out west. Definitely go for any of the specials they're all excellent. The chicken parm sandwich is a sleeper and always get the salad!

Always great food with great prices. 6 of us ate dinner with drinks for $60

Only the best pizza EVER!! It's so cheeeezy...goes great with an ice cold pitcher of anything wet.

Didn't know how good this local spot was going to be. If you want some good pizza and authentic fra diavlo, try this place.

Family owned and operated have to wait at times but always worth the wait everything made to order

Bad pizza, thought it is good..but, it is soo bad that, i ended up eating with spoon.

Love this place! The salads were fresh, and the Italian and blue cheese dressings were very good. The spaghetti marinara and spaghetti with meat sauce were excellent. I will be back.

The food is consistently delicious, the portions are generous, the service is great and the prices are very modest.

The buffalo wings were pretty good. I did not like the flavor of the pizza. Something about the cheese maybe was a little off. The crust was good. The wait staff was very friendly. I didn't like my experience, but you should still try them.

I can only write praises about the food here. Been coming here since I was a child and the quality has not gone down! Wait can be SUPER long due to everyone finding out about this place, but there's a lot to do around the neighborhood to kill time.

The typical American Italian family-style joint. If you like this kind of food, and I love it, then you will really like this place. It is unpretentious and the servings are very generous. The service is always with a smile. They may have the best pizza in Long Beach.

The food is always hot and fresh. Love their pizzas. The pizza is never greasy and the toppings stay on the pizza without falling off.

This is the best family restaurant in Long Beach. The owner is very family oriented. They use the best ingredients in their food. The staff is fun. Tyre owner takes pride in her restaurant. You won't find a better pizza in California. The portions are family size so come hungry or be ready to share.

Yum! Yum! Yum! The food is yummy and the servers are chummy and when I leave I have a full tummy, so eat at Marri's and don't be a dummy...

I love Marri's is the only place I go for pizza. But I was surprise when I picked up from them the other day and I ordered an Italian sub, a meatball sub and some pasta and my Italian sub was awful bread was old and the meat also the meat was hard and the pasta was no good. I won't order subs or pasta anymore but I will always get the pizza.

Went in to order lunch togo, as pandemic, and I stood waiting at their makeshift counter for a while. Even shouted back to see if anyone was going to help me. Couple as staff walking around in back, but no one to serve me. Shame too, first experience there and now I don't really want to try them again.

One of my family's fave pizza places. Parking can be a pain in the butt, but they're worth it.

Tried some of the pasta and the sauce was good. Pizza had to much cheese, but the crust was good, but I mostly tasted cheese which might have been better if cooked longer. Service could have been more attentive and friendly as well, maybe just a bad day for our waitress. I'll probably try again to go have pasta there.

Pizza is HOT, and WONDERFUL...crust is to die for. A Long Beach Institution.

Picked up Marri's pizza for the first time. When I opened the box my reaction was WOW. The crust was crisp and tasty toppings were generous .

The service was fantastic and the food is amazing. My husband is picky when it comes to Italian food and he looked at me and said we will be back.

The service is always fast, fantastic ambience, super friendly staff members. Will return here again when I am nearby.

Always a favorite local spot. Great food and excellent service! We're here as often as possible.

The pizzia is delicious. They pile on the ingredients. I got a meat lovers pizza and there were loads of meat in every bite. I will say they are kinda of pricey but the quality is high so you get what you pay for.

Best items on the menu: Lasagne, the minestrone (no noodles!), and the Fra Diavola. It's a spicy spaghetti that will knock your socks off.

TIP: Ask for the balsamic vinegar and olive oil to dip your bread in. It's only offered on request.

Excellent and delightful food, I liked the character this place has, and the workers were very friendly. Will surely visit here again.

Delicious food and yes theirs is only 1 picture of 1 wing that how bomb they are all the food was great there nothing to complaint about all you need is your empty stomach because plate after plate it's all delicious

This place continues to stand for quality pizzas with generous toppings and delicious, mozzarella-topped garden salads. Has always been this way and my sincere hope is that Marri s continues this way forever.

Additionally. These people smoking are not wearing masks, are not further thankful apart and socializing in grps! How is this acceptable???

Traditional Italian taste and quality. We bring our out-of-town guests to Marri's and never been disappointed. As a matter of fact, when they come back to visit, they suggest to come back again. The price is average and not surprising.

We had lunch today and it was amazing. The service was fun and efficient. Our waitress (Cathy) asked what we like and custom made our lunch for us which was perfect in every way. We started with a salad and homemade dressing, seafood ravioli in a vodka sauce (to die for), garlic bread with pesto and cheese (Authentic), and pizza (two different kinds) and because that wasn t enough two different types of chicken sandwiches. Seriously, everything was fresh and fantastic. We have food for three days!! We can t wait to take our family there when they come to visit. I highly recommend this place for everyone.

The best pizza ever! Crispy crust,tons of topping, cheese so thick it makes for long cheese strings when you take a bite. Fair pricing. Coming here for almost 60 years. Still the best!

best pizza around ...closest thing I have found to Chicago Style

So, my family and I recently moved to Long Beach and we've been looking for a good, local pizza place. Some have been fine, while others forgettable, but Marri's is not one of the. This place does "it" right. The pizza (food) and the service is exactly what you'd expect from a local place that cares about its customers and it's restaurant. Quality, Quality, Quality. A big shout out goes to Kathleen. She knew we were first timers and you could tell that our experience was important to her.

The pasta was swimming in sauce. Some people may like this but me not so much . The taste was good .

Best pizza ever...been coming here since I was I child now my grandkids are hooked....pizza is always great and the employees are always friendly
