Marriott Los Suenos Resort - Herradura, Costa Rica Review

It is a refined place. Everything is first class.
The service and attention is in style.

Terrible hotel staff is rude especially the golf pro Jose and the golfing is terrible and the general manager didn't help with with my complaints

The place is beautiful Colonial hotel. It does not have many common areas with air, so with very hot the only alternative is the pool. Eye charge a tip percentage and resort fee that does not clear up very well upon check-in.

Love this place! Our room was very nice and the pool was amazing! Swim up bar and pool movie night for the kids. Will come back.

gorgeous views, staff was very helpful, and breakfast buffet was amazing filled with tons of local fruit.

The service is very good and the food is excellent, the rooms and the hotel are very clean and strictly adhere to the protocols for the prevention of Covid-19.
We went to celebrate our 28 years of marriage and they took great care of us, thanks to the Marriott staff for making this a special experience.

Spectacular. Good attention, first class service, very spacious and beautiful facilities. All health protocols are carried out .

Only point to highlight are the menu prices, exaggeratedly expensive.

In Dubai you eat and drink for much less.

Absolutely stunning views. Spectacular service. Twice a day room service with turndown. Prices are very expensive for most things though. Breakfast alone will run you $20/day with some mixed drinks (gin) up to $80.

Beware!! don't put your credit card information and make a reservation at this property. I booked it and despite cancelling 3 weeks ahead of my stay, got charged in full and they refused to refund the charges. If this is how they treat a Marriott Gold Member using the Marriott Visa card, god knows how they would treat everyone else...

Absolutely beautiful place to stay, the view of the ocean, the srars and the waves lighting up like avatar was breath taking!

I love it is one of my favorite places. I try to go once a month, but it's pretty, it's worth it.

A little slow on preparing food but you will not regret the amount and tastes.

What an amazing place .... relaxed for a few days, did the Zip line and a trip to Tortuga Island. The staff here is top notch, with some calling us by name on the second day. As a non drinker I appreciate the laid back feel and always had great options for non alcoholic drinks. I highly recommend the sea bass Ceviche.

Outstanding resort. Beautiful rooms, pools and grounds...Always enjoy our stay!! Make sure you take the time to go to the marina and enjoy the shops... Beautiful evening walk.

A nice place to stay or live near the sea and a beautiful marina

Loved everything about this Marriott property. It was wonderfully maintained, and the staff were above and beyond friendly - it was so lovely! The breakfast was pricey, but they must have improved it since the other reviews because it s fantastic, and the service is wonderful. The pool area is great as well - some people complained about the lazy river style pool, but it makes for very private areas all around the pool area, which is wonderful! The beach is also nice although there aren t any chairs there (they might not be allowed to take them out there), but the waves were calm and swimming out there was nice. The rooms were great as well. It definitely wasn t quiet on the weekend (parties and weddings, etc), but it s not Florida, it s Costa Rica, and you can t expect quiet all the time because the vibe is fun and vibrant. Loved the fireworks shows for the wedding, and all in all enjoyed our stay immensely! The one negative is that the lunch prices and drink prices are pretty insane (even for the states). We ate only breakfast there, and ventured out for the rest of our meals, but wish they could streamline food pricing so it s at least reasonable.
