Marriott Hotel Hyderabad Review

I had one of the better hotel experiences at Marriott

The food is not all that great. But rooms are quite good and spacious. A place suitable for Business conference at a competitive rate but for leisure travellers, Hmmm let me think.

True to it's reputation, Marriott is one of the most luxurious hotels.

Great location but not visible due to flyover. Interiors are not so good. Marriott standard is not up-to the mark in Hyderabad.

Convention centre is spacious, but the food wasn't exactly "Marriott" level

I thought Marriot hotels were amazing until I came to this one. The hotel looks so old, it smells terrible, I thought it was by a lake but it s next to a sewage... It took us a long time to get food from the restaurant and I t was ok food. So much noise from the outside and the hallways, terrible to have a peaceful sleep. The entrance is hard to find for taxis or ubers. I wish I knew all of this before I came here.

Pathetic place, went to write a cfa exam, there were 1000 people and he did not have sense of arranging food stalls. Pathetic place and management

While you have a food walk around old delhi there are many savoury's on the pool side Kebabs to chole, meanwhile shouldn't forget about some delicious snacks like Naankhatai, mouth melting naankhatai will cherish your taste buds with pipping hot chai, between the other delicious delicacies.

At kolkata stall the very famous Chelo kebab which was so delicious. the succulent delicacy from kolkata is chicken chop it was scrumptious i really enjoyed it in my main course.

And the jhal muri to chat counters installed aroind the corners. Anyone of you are the fan of Litti Chowka they have live grilling counter.

Did i told about mathura counter the main attraction for the desserts, have you ever tried the mathura ke pedde and the jalebi here you have chance to hog the most popular desserts from northern states mathura ke mithaiyan Agra ka petha and more.

The NH2 Trails are ending in just couple of days do not miss it. The whole traveling cities at one place will cost you just Rs:1800++ along with their regular buffet menu. and the one day is not enough to hogg all around the food stalls need to be hang inn, for several times but unfortunately the fest saying bye in two days. #ByInvite #MarriottHyderabad #NH2 #FoodFestival #TheFoodGlanZer

The convention centre has become quite old and seems to be in dire need of renovation, especially the washrooms which bring (unpleasant) flashbacks of the 80's!

Excellent Hotel & hospitality.. Though the stench of the Hussain Sagar Lake is big Negative..

Hyderabad Marriott Convention Centre is a great place for Marriages with big hall, large seating area and good dining layouts.

Went to the convention center to attend a friend's wedding - hall ambience and service are okay but the food was horrible. Considering it is a star hotel I was not expecting tasty food - but definitely expected good presentation and service - very disappointed - some of the spoons were not clean and the naans were half burnt - major let down.

Old construction with small rooms. Room ambience is little dark.

Nice view at the roof top restaurant... Though there was pungent smell coming from the sewage water nearby, if you decide to sit outdoors...

Many variety of chai... (For chai lovers)

Hyderabad Marriott is one of the best properties strategically located. It s a perfect place if one is looking for booking a family vacation.
I got a very good 4 nights New Year deal by directly booking (by calling up the Hotel). The deal included the 31st eve New year Marriot party.
The Hotel is quite old more than 20 year hence it has a vintage look.

Room : Small Rooms. Some of basic room amenities are missing.
Location : Centrally located. Close to Secundarabad Railway station. Many of tourist spots are nearby.
Food : one of the USP of the Resort. Great food & a huge spread in Breakfast at Okra restaurant. Lunch & Dinner. Live counters provides very good options like - Fish preparations, Omelette, etc. They have one of the best bakery serving excellent muffins, cookies.
Staff Service : staff is very much courteous & helpful. Special mention of Parul at the reception for the warm welcome & quick check in. Karan at Okra restaurant. Special thanks to Sveeny for helping in the booking & providing good deal.
Amenities for children : Basic play area is missing. But the Hotel had arranged Kids bash party on 31st eve with care takers, magicians, games, special food. This arrangement helped the parents enjoy their party.
Room A/C : Good
Room TV : LCD but no smart TV.
Room Furnishing : Old furnishings.
Parking : Ample parking space
Service Level : 10/10
Cleanliness : 10/10
Unique Point / Differentiating factor : Hospitality.
Overall Experience : Very pleasant
Value for money : 8/10
Few Tips :
Opt for Lake view rooms. Avoid sitting in open areas of the hotel as there is very bad odor from the nearby lake (this is the only drawback & negative point of the Hotel).
Also opt for breakfast at the Okra.

The hotel is a nice place for a luxurious stay with very well trained staff and good food. All the basic amenities are available and room service is pro active. Had a wonderful stay here for a month. Would really love to stay here if I happen to visit Hyderabad again.
The view of Hussain saagar lake is really mesmerising in the evening.

Marriott is international standard as usual.. recommend

Lovely ambience. I really like it very much. Good event management by Hotel Marriott. Well distinguished event halls for each techinical sessions. Recommend to visit it.

VERY Good ambience. . . The food at Okra Coffe shop is just amazing ! Sunday brunch here is best in the city. With a wide spread of Indian as well as Continental food. . . Live food sections and love bar makes it all the more lavish. Good place to visit with friends and family.
