Great place to shop during Juramarkt while eating a bite and enjoying a good beer.

Food poison, the food is not fresh anymore, i ate the pasta , with some dressings that he recomended, i end up at evening puke and spend a whole day at a hotel because food poison, hygene is very bad my sister also had the samething. Not recommended to come

Food court with a wide, international range, with more unusual options such as Iranian, Israeli in addition to the standards (Chinese and Japanese) available. Well thought-out tableware concept and good prices. Eisuru's ice cream is some of the best I've ever had.

The new concept with different food stalls has been very successful and offers a variety of dishes from different regions of the world in a cozy atmosphere.
All the stalls that I have tried so far, offered very good food and fair prices.

Ideal to go with colleagues, as everyone will find something for his taste and thus everyone is happy. Unfortunately, the seats are always assigned very quickly, so it is worthwhile to be there in time.

The only drawback is, that in the whole hall it always tastes relatively strong to food, here maybe a better ventilation would be helpful. However, you get used to it over time and it still lasts well.

Global food hall probably there s something for anyone I personally like the Argentino food it has salad, veggies, Empanada of your choice and a bit of steak its tasty, cheap and fast great during lunch break or after work. Place can be crowded and noisy.
Also tried Sushi, Thai, Burger all okay but always go for this dish.

Good selection, nice atmosphere. It would be desirable for all providers to accept cards - unfortunately this is not yet the case in some cases

Approximately 30 food stalls with kitchens from around the world. Pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. Unfortunately, my favorite Asian stalls offer a bit less vegetables, but rather too large portions. Quality good, but not optimal.

Architecturally beautiful and imposing on the outside and inside. A very good concept for revitalizing the market hall was created and implemented. A successful mix of restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. Very lively and yet pleasant atmosphere.

A great casual place with variety of food, craft beer and japanese ice cream place.

Many very different stands with an incredible selection. Such an evaluation cannot actually cover what the market hall has to offer. Great brunch buffet (unfortunately at a very expensive price), beer bar with 38 different beers to choose from, even in 1cl tasting glasses, Asian, Afghan, African, Italian, and Turkish cuisine! Simply great - and the best thing: often the prices are totally reasonable!

Great concept! The market hall is a popular place for lunch and dinner, which scores points above all for its diversity. Also very suitable with (small) children. The only deduction is for the strong smelling clothes after the visit.

The place is very good for dining, there are several food options. The place most looks like a fair, and rustic and without luxury in the summer and b hot because there is no air conditioning. But for lunch and a good spot. They are located very close to the Basel train station

Large food court style place with cuisine offerings from all over the world. Not the most authentic cuisine you can get but the food tastes fine and the variety makes up for it.

A real little gem in the heart of Basel located around the rear of the train station. Now Basel is super expensive to eat so after loosing a bit of timber we found this place at more normal European prices and food stalls from all over the world

diverse range of various food stands. From pizza to fish to exotic food, a lot is available at various stands (Italian, Israel, Thai, etc.) Prices are reasonably reasonable. But there is also a bar (Hinz and Kunz), which offers a lot of drinks and a stand with dozens of different beers (almost 50 from the tap alone!). Seating should be a little more available, offer a little scarce. All in all well suited for lunch at noon, but also in the evening.

Has an ideological selection for the stomach that likes to enjoy everything and new tastes in the world and get to know new things. Really worth a visit for newcomers or foreigners or those who like to eat Asian.

Here I can go on a culinary trip around the world in a small space and we almost always discover something new and unknown. Because of Covid we haven't been there for a while.

Small street food festival in a hall. There is something for every taste and the atmosphere is uncomplicated and relaxed.

The tables and the toilets are very big, too many people, too expensive and dirty! Very loud as in the children's playground!

I always like to eat in the market hall. There is something for every taste and everything is very well organized. The only thing you could complain about is that the ventilation is not very good due to the size and you always smell a little afterwards after eating. Since I am often there in my free time, it does not bother me, but if I want to go there for a business lunch I would make sure that I don't have an important meeting afterwards. Thanks for this great wellness oasis!

A culinary journey through the world with great stalls and nice people.

Culinary multicultural place. Particularly I do not like it for not having good ventilation, you get out of there stinking of everything, it is also noisy and the prices are moderate to expensive. What is worth it is to visit and see the dome. A work of art in architecture worth seeing.

Great variety of food and drinks. Definitely one of my basel faves. they even have Venezuelan food (arepas, pictured)

Vibe nice, often very busy especially on weekends, hard to find a seat with warm plate on the arm, relatively expensive for self service, food but mostly very good and big international selection

Great food variaity. There is also an AMAZING beers bar with hundreds of options. A must go for anyone who enjoys a good beer.
The only thing that I personally don't like is that due it's structure is very noisy and you will leave with the food smell in your clothes. But that should no stop anyone from visiting Marthalle

Delicious. Huge selection and still cooked in small quantities with passion.

Many food stalls are closed on Sunday at lunchtime. But it's great to drink coffee and eat something small. Also suitable for families.
