A fun place to enjoy the Atlantic. Local lifeguards on duty until 5 pm (at least during summer hours). We saw a bald eagle, the waves were fun, and people are generally friendly. Not the largest beach to which I've been, and more people than I expected during Covid, but people seemed to be respectful of keeping distance. The only thing to make it better would be if people did a bit better job of leaving no trace.

There is surprisingly a lot of stores open during the winter. I really do believe the Grotto Pizza taste better at the beach. As long as it s not bitter cold, a nice stroll along the boardwalk is always peaceful and refreshing. The seagulls are always there to keep you company...winter or summer.

Fun!

The eastern shore of Delaware has one of the nicest areas to visit, Rehoboth Beach. one of the cleanest most well kept picturesque Beach areas I've been to. While definitely designed with the tourist in mind, the Main Street, Rehoboth Avenue is lined with thousands of little shops and a variety of restaurants and hotels. Many of the back streets also host a lot of hotels and Inns tucked away. While roaming the back streets you'll find lots of small bed and breakfasts, and every property is flawlessly manicured. The boardwalk is enormous with many places to souvenir shop, play games, get ice cream and all the things that you want to do on a boardwalk. The beach is especially clean. Rehoboth Beach makes the perfect weekend or even a week getaway. There's even a Bandstand at the entrance to the boardwalk with live shows in music. lots of nightlife available with a variety of bars and restaurants and most with outdoor seating. It's a must-visit place.

It's the best! Wide beaches and boardwalk. Much here has stayed the same for decades and that is what makes it so special. Walk Rehoboth Ave. - visit all the little shops I visited many beaches and beach towns and this is one special place!

Family friendly, clean beach with decent amenities. Lifeguards on the beach. Access to the beach is easy from the boardwalk with mostly accessible ramps at every block. The boardwalk is fronted by shops, arcades, restaurants, and motels. More shopping and dining options line the side streets in the center of town. Boardwalk offers plenty of benches and foot showers at most beach entrances. Live music at the bandstand on Rehoboth Ave during the evenings. Overall, a great vacation spot for either a long weekend or a week's stay. Would definitely go back.
