Beautiful room and Me daughter could see everything well.

nice theater. you have to cross the Erasmus Bridge from the station. but that is also nice and not a punishment all in all a great place to attend a performance

Beautiful performance of Scapino ballet. Also very good food. Convenient that the dessert was ready during the break :)

Good theater. Everything neatly arranged. Only I found the seats in the room very close together. Furthermore, everything went well.

Nice theater. It is a shame that when a room is sold out, they do not have several bars open as standard. Too crazy for words that you only have your drink when you have to enter the hall again.

Went to the International Film Festival Rotterdam and saw 5 movies in this theatre. Beautiful but for a film marathon the chairs weren't comfortable enough. But it isn't meant as a cinema I think.

You can view everything well on stage from all sides.

In the New Luxor went to the show of Japanese drummers, Yamato. Very intensive show with great choreography. Dynamic pieces interspersed with quiet moments. During the entire show the audience was involved and entertained with jokes. Highly recommended.

Nice also that there is just a drink ready during the break. That hassle of queuing for a drink, queuing for the toilets, having a drink and getting back to your seat quickly takes away the feeling of being relaxed to the theater ... now there are tables full of something for everyone.

Beautiful theater. Very high and only 2 lifts. So people with walking difficulties can book better hall.

Today I went to Jochem Meyer's show. Nice theater, spacious. Wardrobe runs smoothly and seats in the theater are comfortable. Worth repeating.

Beautiful theater. Easily accessible and plenty of parking space in the area. And if you want to eat a bite (you) in advance, there is also plenty of opportunity for it within walking distance.

Beautiful theater. Good places and enough staff to lead everything in the right direction before, during and after the performances. Chairs are good. Toilet are neat and there are enough bars to get a drink.

I have now seen a number of performances in the New Luxor and must honestly say that this cold, chilly and atmospheric theater does not really warm me. The theater was designed by Peter Wilson, who won the design competition in 1996, but don't ask me why. With a capacity of over 1500 places, it is ideal for mass productions, but you wonder where all these people stay in the very spacious foyers. During the break you therefore have the idea that you are with 10 people in an airplane hangar at Schiphol instead of in a theater foyer. Because of its good accessibility and logistics, it is ideal for a Van der Ende production, but for an intimate theater concert, it is better to go to one of the smaller theaters in the peripheral municipalities. Cosiness and intimacy is hard to find in the New Luxor.

Dutch text could be placed on either side of the stage ... at a lower height than that nowadays
If you should read text, you don't see anything of the show and you have a sore neck.

Beautiful building, clean toilets, too little catering facilities, especially during the break you will be faced with a long queue, the queue at the wardrobe is very fast. Chairs are very pleasant even if you are a bit wider you can sit comfortably.
