It's cool going to this iconic former Olympic stadium, but this place is very unorganized/unmarked for services. It doesn't have its own parking, but is reasonably accessible via public transit.

Took my mom with us for the first time specifically to visit the Butterfly Pavilion and it did not disappoint! She is a Butterfly lover and one landed on her as if her energy attracted it. The museum is my favorite place to visit as a homeschooling family becuase there's so much to do and it keeps getting better and better. The monthly First Fridays events are worth the price of the membership, alone!

Pretty good stadium. It it's self isn't in a bad part of town but just a few blocks away is a rougher part of LA just a word of caution to tourists. Unlike many stadiums they allow sealed water bottles which is very nice. Food inside is overpriced as always but I suppose that's a given.

This was the worst expirience ever!

This was the worst expirience ever!
I came to watch Real Madrid, my favorite team to play Manchester city. This was a team that never came to america and they where playing in LA!!!!
We where 1 hour early driving toward the stadium the traffic was awful and took 10 minutes to go 30yd! By the time we got to the parking zone the game was 20 minutes in and the parking spots where all full and it cost 80$. What a waste of time and money I just wanted to see my favorite team in person and have a amazing expirience with my family but it led them to tears when there was no way to get in...
so awful
If you ever come here make sure to WALK or get there 2-3 hours early!!

I went there to see the Rams, not USC. The stadium is a legendary enclosure that is worth the detour (more than the Rose Bowl) 2 Olympic games anyway. Past the excitement of his illustrious history, we realize its weak point despite successive renovations.
The slope of the stands is too low so pay attention to the choice of places. There are nearly 100 rows so at the top and in the turns the field is far away. Because it is not a football stadium originally. Particularly open side whose view is further encroached by the low and side boxes.
The campus, the science museum and the "Endeavor Shuttle" will be appreciated. Returns by public transport are nightmarish, it is better to take his trouble in patience and drag as much as possible.

This year (2016) the"Coliseum Club" beer gardens for USC donors are smaller, especially the one on the north west corner, so beware. Also Sculpin and other Ballast Point beers on draft are $15.

This season I went to a college game at SDCCU (The Murph) in San Diego and thought it was the worst venue for a football game. The Coliseum managed to beat it in the worst place to see a football game category. If you get there 3 hours prior to game, there is not a real problem getting to the stadium or getting into the stadium. We were there just as all the gates opened, got in through security without issue. However as game time got closer and closer you could see the back up to get into the stadium get worse and worse. It would not have been such a problem, but since the stadium was designed a while back, it creates absolute chaos during the first half of the game with people trying to get to seats, get to the restroom and everything else. The sections don't provide many access points, so everyone is essentially trying to access the same row from the same end. It is a mess. The stairways are very steep and were designed in the 1920's- code was not present or allowed it. However the stairs are very steep. A gentleman, who was intoxicated, tripped going down the stairs, during the National Anthem, face planted down 7 rows and was bleeding from his head. It took until half way through the first quarter to get security or an usher there because the flow was so bad with humanity everywhere. It took until the 2nd quarter until EMT's arrived and got him out of there. Meanwhile, the masses of humanity continued to try to get there seats through/over etc the situation and it just displayed how dated this stadium is and needs to be brought to code for safety. I understand he was intoxicated, but to take over 25 minutes to get access to a harmed visitor is unacceptable and shows just how dangerous the place can be- imagine if it was your family member having a heart attack. The parking is horrible unless you pay a king's ransom. The security and fan experience was sub-par, it is not "family friendly" at all. The security only really cares about enforcing right of way and not safety of the visitor. Overall, I might have forgot how bad NFL game crowds could be, but I would not recommend this stadium for a full event. Also it is a bit disappointing such an historic venue could not honor its past in some way. Maybe renovations and improvements are coming, I don't know, I just hope they are.
