Lord Fletcher's Old Lake Lodge Review

I'm from El Paso, TX. Never been to a place like this! Had a blast on Monday which was Memorial Day! $5 Burger's and $2.75 beers!

It was outdoors, packed, divey and pretty damn sweet. On the water too

The old-timey feel is felt throughout the restaurant in a good way. You actually feel like you are stepping ba co in time to eat at a Lord's table. The food say over the top good. The walleye was fantastic and the Bison steak wrapped in bacon was incredible. I will try to come here every time I'm in town. Especially when you come by boat and saddle to the outdoor just steps off the dock!!!

Had signature dish walleye wrap. Had stomach cramps and diarrhea at 3 a.m until 6 a.m. It was hell. I WAS NOT on the water like what was going around Lake Minnetonka on the 4th of July... The service and views were nice. The buffalo shrimp was really good. The reason I know it was the walleye because my neighbor didn't eat any of it. She didn't get sick. I also know it was the walleye because it is all I ate that day.

It s expensive for what you get. Sometimes the service is amazing, sometimes the service is slow. Love the live music and the lake. Food is slightly above average.

Cool atmosphere and the water is nice, prices a little high.

Great setting on the lake... but their prices are getting a little ridiculous. You're paying for the location I guess!

Always excellent service, love the atmosphere. We've had many special times here. Celebrations of the heart. Never dissaponts, and the food gets better and better!

Got a spot right away, both from the boat and at a table. Service a bit slow but to be expected for the weather. Food was good and kids were entertained.

My family and I have been coming here for years now. When it s a nice evening, we love to drive the boat over, grab a drink, and eat some dinner. There s always a spot to pull up at the bar and it s never long to wait for a table, no matter how busy. I love the walleye. I also highly recommend the lobster nights too! Great spot any time or day of the week.

I'm John, and the calamari was great. Our waitress was excellent and lovely, to boot.

I love coming here for the wharf or the dining room. We love the early bird specials and omg their dining room bread is to die for! I love their house salad, and the mud pie dessert is one of the best things I ve ever eaten!
FYI they are now charging for the bread but it s worth it.

Walleye sandwich... best ebber. Great staff - friendly and fun.

One of my favorite places to go on date night. I haven t had any food there that didn t exceed my expectations. Also a wonderful view of the lake and the boats. Would highly recommend for first dates or fine dining.

A special occasion venue for our family for many years

If I could give it no stars I would.. first time being there.. last time.. horrible customer service.. or maybe lack of service..We walk in NO host we ask the lady where we sit she points us to a spot barely big enough for 6 people and we have 10.. HORRIBLE.. then we find out that the burger special is cash only and you have to go get it yourself(very classy) then NO AC or if there was it wasn't doing anything.. she took forever to take our order then never came back the whole meal.. brought us the bill and it had stuff we didn't even order on the check..we were coming there for a friends birthday dinner.. sadly it wasn't a happy meal

Great food, and even better people watching. You get a way better variety than Walmart.

Nice location on the lake. Expensive drinks but are made well.

Food is always amazing. The sunday brunch if fantastic. If you like the Sunday brunch from 6smith you'll love this too. Lord Fletchers always makes an amazing steak. I had the Denver steak and it was in the top steaks I have ever eaten. The portions are large and you'll leave feeling full and satisfied.

Great place! Patio is awesome wish the prices were a little more reasonable, but hey. Its Tonka.

The walleye was excellent as always! Good whiskey and scotch choices.

Food is supposed to be good, but not tonight. Meat was dry and tough. The potatoes had zero taste. On top was a bunch of broccoli. Not a broccoli fan but it was the best part of the meal.

Very very bad bee problem on the dock when we went, service and food was great though!

Nice setting by lake. Food is okay. Service is very good. Are in casual cafe, not the find dining restaurant.

I am an out of town visitor and am never disappointed when I come here. The walleye sandwich is my favorite and the surroundings are gorgeous in the summer! Well done!

Great food every time. Amazing setting with volleyball courts, cool mini canoe fore pits and multiple bar areas around the whole restaurant. The outdoor deck/patio area is massive. Plenty of indoor space as well. They always glhave cool events going on, even in the winter.

The burgers were just all right, nothing to brag about but the calamari was pretty dang good. The service was mediocre at best but I wouldn't expect great service from a place like this.

ordered four meals and one came incorrectly prepared with everything on the side and the walleye sandwich must have been dunked in the lake it was so soggy. Other items were average at best. The drinking water also had dirt or something floating in it. Will post pictures of that.

Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere, love pulling right up with the boat and enjoy the evening.

Pay for the location, not the food or service. Brutal cost for minimal food quality.

Super cool place right on the lake! We were there at lunch on a cool weekday, so the outside amenities weren't open or appealing due to the cold, but boy - in the summer this would be a fabulous place. Lunch menu was good as was the service.

It was a cool spot, only downfall was alot of people and little walking room. Other then that. Pretty awesome place. Good people. Decent parking. Food was amazing!

Had brunch here with friends. The food was OK at best and overpriced.

Unclear why sandwiches, wraps and tacos served on styrofoam are $18 at lunch. There must be a reason since the place seemed fairly crowded, twice we have been there in 5 years. But the reason eludes me.

Best place on the Lake to grab a bite to eat by boat. Overpriced for what you get, but you pay for the atmosphere.

If you like being by the water, the lakeside patio area is great - and pretty laid back. Good food for the bar and patio and the upstairs restaurant is worth a visit for going out to dinner. Volleyball as well, plus weekly music during the summer.

We had a great time together and the drinks and food were great!
