Lindner Hotel & City Lounge Review

Good hotel for 1 or 2 nights. Room was spacious but carpeting is out of date and looks dingy. Sky bar was off putting, pushy staff pricy drinks priced. Breakfast was good.

Excellent Hotel in the middle of the City Antwerpen. Nice ambiance and friendly personal. Breakfast is of a high level and the rooms are very clean. The desk is helping you with all kinds of requests like ordering a taxi.

We enjoyed our one-night stay at Lindners. The hotel is well-located and clean. The personnel friendly and hospitable. Room and bed were very comfortable, with fast Wifi and three pillows per person as a highly appreciated bonus. The Sky-bar is a good place to enjoy a drink while having a marvellous look over the city from the twelfth floor. With all those benefits we probably should not be surprised it is a bit pricey.

This was our first stay at a Lindner hotel. The first impressions were fine. The room large, as well as the bathroom and clean. The main reason to book was the soundproofed room. Unfortunately the room was not. We slept better than in most other hotels because there was carpet and you therefore heard less of the ticking of shoes etc. But still. This was the only defect. For the rest, a top hotel with a more than excellent breakfast, so much choice !!!

The nicest hotel is no good if its staff are not as great. Everything fits together in Antwerp. We were welcomed with a friendly smile. The hotel is awesome and the view over the city really breathtaking. The city is also highly recommended and with the bike rental (in front of the hotel) quick and easy to explore. We'll be back soon! Many Thanks!

My wife and I stayed here one night on our way through. Check in was easy and fast and the room was quite clean. The next morning we woke up to a leak coming from the ceiling which was promptly handled by the apologetic staff.

The big fuck ..... the room not done under the pretext that the sign "do not disturb" was not removed, no but no joke.
The worst part is that they left a plastic bag on the outside door with clean towels!
Reception unable to find a solution, no commercial gesture, just "we are sorry, but the cleaning ladies have strict instructions, do nothing if the small sign is not removed".
The worst part is that they have our coordinates, not a call, nothing.
Hello the 4 stars, it's not WTC the name of this hotel, it's more WTF ???

The room was nicely furnished and very clean.
My one criticism is the mattress on the bed. It was entirely too soft and I had severe back pain after 5 nights sleeping on it.
I really enjoyed the fitness room and sauna.
I never ate breakfast there because EUR 20 is unreasonable in my view.

Parking garage under the hotel, center within walking distance! Super friendly staff and great food. The wifi was super fast, better than normal in a hotel. We stayed 2 nights and after night 1 we had clean towels and they cleaned up our "messes". Highly recommended!

I have experienced my weekend in your hotel as very pleasant. It's clean, nicely decorated, very friendly staff.
The breakfast is fine. We did not try the restaurant.
The train station is nearby, shops, etc. are within walking distance.

The minibar could do with a little more variety as far as I'm concerned.

Everything was fantastic, room, food, lounge and personnel. Your location was a great convenience both to the City and train station.

Great location, barely 5 minutes walk from the central station. Comfortable beds and soundproof room. Shower was slightly less because of the slippery floor. Fantastic food at regular prices and an extensive drink menu. It was the ideal hotel for us to rest after a long day in Antwerp!

I have already done a few hotels and this one is the best I have ever stayed at.
The room was super clean the services was really great.
We will definitely come back here.

I have been here with a friend from 6 - 8 August. Friendly welcome, very nice spacious room on the 10th floor, from where you look out over the city. Hotel is near the Antwerp train station, so easily accessible. I have been to several 4 * hotels, but the breakfast buffet in this hotel was really super, super, super. Don't forget to have a drink on the roof terrace of this hotel, beautiful sunset over Antwerp. I thought it was a very nice hotel to stay.

I attended a seminar here, the accommodation was great, the staff was friendly and the catering by the hotel was really good. Everything was very clean.

Location is convenient. Usually quiet except when they have events going on at the roof top bar. Staff is taking a very good care of the customers. Internet access is decent. Breakfast is really good. I'll probably go back there if I have the occasion.

Great location at central station. Nice big room and a nice bottle of bubbles on arrival. Zeeeeer large breakfast buffet with something for everyone. Great base for a visit to Antwerp. Recommended !!
The reception is currently being adjusted, but you hardly notice it.

Only went there for a meeting, didn't stay in a room. But the view is amazing and the lounge is very fancy.

Secure underground parking. Comfortable rooms and friendly staff. The breakfast was busy at peak times, but of a good quality.

The money for value is good as well as the size and the comfort fo the rooms.

However, the staff is total inadequate.

the guy at the reception did not know anything about the metro lines or put any effort to search the web and help us out.

Also at the lobby there are fliers to win a weekend break in one of Linder hotels. We filled them and returned to reception. He looked at so puzzled and asked us what he has to do with those?? I explained that these are for a weekend break etc, he did not know what to do and he assured us that he will hand those to one who is dealing with them-BUT i am 100% sure, they have never made it.

The MOST amazing experience was that one of the staff members was about to leave, she out her coat on but kept on chatting with the barman for 30 minutes (very loud, in English and totally priovate matters). The barman was supposed to prepare our drinks and we did not want to haev a chat or anything but it was impossible to have our own conversation while they were chatting loudly in front fo us... I have never seen something like this before...If the Hotel manages to train their staff, the quality would improve a lot as the rest of it is actually pretty ok.

When we got there they were very difficult about us being underage, we needed permission from our parents to stay the night. We had written permission but that was not good enough following the shack, then we proposed to call our parents and give the man the line, aa not good. We also suddenly had to pay extra. Because the written permission was not good, we were not allowed to pay back the extra and the normal money we had, in short, it was terrible !!

Good and neat hotel. During my stay there was renovation but that was no problem. Breakfast was quite extensive and tasty. Room was also neat and clean. Bed is neat and comfortable. View of civil servants workplace not so great. But yes ... it was for an overnight stay. Sauna is clean but simple. Fitness is extensive. In short: good location, good room and breakfast. Friendly staff. Price ok.

Clean room, very luxurious, good breakfast and super nice and helpful staff! Location 10 min from main street, in the evening therefore no nuisance from outside!

Deal, we always meet Marco at the reception desk who sees us in Spanish. And the bar has a good cocktail menu.

Great hotel, great breakfast, great cocktails in dee sky bar. Everything was clean and super modern. We felt very comfortable there. Never slept so well in a hotel.

Excellent hotel in a central location, modern and nice at a good price

Quite the hotel, very nice food and well designed lounge. Despite the nice features like extra speaker for the TV in the bathroom or WiDi connection from phone to TV my room could have used a litte maintenance because cover of power outlet was loose, rubber seal of shower door let the water get onto the bathroom floor.
I would come back.

The hotel was nicely situated in the center of Antwerp.
The beds were exquisite and the breakfast was super.
As a great internet enthusiast, I was disappointed that the hotel did not have WIFI.
I had to pay almost 5 euros for 15 minutes of using the internet. this should nowadays be cheaper especially for a 4 star hotel.

Plus :
Very nice hotel, very good room temperature (despite being on the 8th floor) with a barely hearable airco (on lowest setting), high pressure on the water which is great for showering. Free WIFI and very good isolation which means you hear no noise from outside (the train tracks are nearby) or from nearby rooms.
Location is also great, very near to Antwerpen Central where all the trains stop.
Also free drinks (water) from the mini bar !
Min : the matrass was too soft. We were unable to use the late check-out (2 PM) but it was clearly stated in advance this was only available depending on availability
(hotel was very well booked so it was not available for us anymore). Normal checkout time is 12 o'clock which is quite late also, so this was fine for us.
No comment on the food because we had none.
Highly recommended !!

The ideal hotel in terms of location if you come by train (via the domed passage of the central station you can get from the platform to practically the entrance of the hotel). It takes no more than 10 minutes to walk from the hotel to the shopping street De Meir.
Checking in went smoothly, partly due to the super friendly employee who provided us with all the useful information.
The very spacious room with an excellent king-size bed and plenty of pillows was well cared for. Everything on and on and in accordance with the package booked by us (bottle of bubbles on arrival, coffee maker with cups, very clean bathroom with bathrobes and slippers).
And last but not least the great and extensive breakfast, with kudos to the employees / employees here too.
In short, a must and without a doubt our destination again on our next trip to Antwerp.

Friendly staff who always want to help.
Rooms are well looked after. air conditioning Flat TV. safe and spacious. Wifi is good both in the room and in the rest of the hotel. The breakfast is very extensive and has everything you could wish for.
Hotel is located in the middle of Antwerp next to the central station and the Zoo.
In short, super.

Great hotel, rooms are massive, well finished and luxurious. We had a 10th floor Business room which comes with panoramic city views and a Nespresso machine.
The hotel is very modern and immaculately clean throughout.
Location is excellent, next to the Central station, only a 15' walk to the Cathedral but away from noise or traffic.
We drove into Antwerp, so the easy access from junction 3 of the Ring road and the secure public car park right underneath the hotel, were greatly appreciated!
We loved the vouchers that come with the room (if booked directly from the hotel's website). We made use of the free Belgian fries and Neuhaus chocolates! Wish we had time for the free beer too! What a great promotional gesture!
Best thing about the hotel is the breakfast buffet. The variety and quality is unbelievable! Couldn't ask for anything more!
Next time in Antwerp we won't need to look elsewhere!

Really recommended! Super friendly welcome with a warm towel and glass of drink. The smell on entering is sooo nice and nice bar / sitting area at the informal reception. Rooms very neat and clean. Bed was really great! Breakfast also top. There was only 1 point of criticism. and that was that the shower gel was on, but that is mosquito sifting! When we picked up the suitcase we asked if we wanted an ice cream.

We chose the Lindner hotel due to its location and it was perfect in that regard. It's entrance is at one end of the train station and you walk maybe 20 steps and you're inside. The room itself was decent, we did have a bit of a random trouble when the ceiling started leaking but based on their reactions I don't think it happens often. We did also have a meal in the hotel restaurant due to our exhaustion and it's nearness but I wouldn't recommend it, honestly. The quality is not great and the price is far too much. Overall I'm glad we had that location, it made our trip easier ultimately!

Very nice, clean and quiet rooms. All the luxury you can get. Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast.

The stay at the hotel was very nice. I slept 1 night there. The bed was wonderfully soft. And the bathroom very spacious. Also the view was very nice and it was near the station. And when Christmas was over, there was a sky bar with a beautiful view of the city and plenty of seating for everyone.

Everything was fine. Staff very friendly. Nice rooms. Versatile and tasty breakfast buffet. Especially noteworthy is the peace in the house. Despite the convenient location next to the main station and the many rooms in the house, was absolute peace. A hotel to feel good.

Very fine, only breakfast is not placed conveniently, you walk over it. Maybe a tip to make this corner more spacious. Panorama (rooftop view) is only accessible in July and August.

Top location right on the central station of Antwerp. Nevertheless, very quiet location. Breakfast is ok, rooms are business standard. No on-site parking available. Public car park with ample parking is located directly under the hotel. Entrance to Van Immerseelstraat. When entering the "Parking Centraal Station" drive. In the parking garage signs show the way, from which decks you can get out by lift directly at the Lindnerhotel (-3, -5, -7). Parking fee: 20 per day. Dinner in the hotel until 22 o'clock possible. Sauna and gym on the 11th floor.

A very nice hotel with a cool bar, great atmosphere, a superbly appointed room and quiet spa area with unforgettable views of Antwerp. The staff in the bar and at the front desk is very helpful, friendly and competent. However, I can not say the same thing about the restaurant staff. Everyone is either insecure, not properly trained or not interested in the guests. Breakfast buffet is partly disappointing: lukewarm scrambled eggs, lukewarm beans, cold eggs. The desire to get warm food was fulfilled only after half an hour. At least there are fresh waffles. If you can comfort yourself with it, this is the right place. My tip: definitely book hotel. For dinner, look for a good eatery in the city and then back to the hotel and end the evening in the bar.

Be careful not to go to Belgium. Antwerp. Huge scam. Very high fine if you go downtown with your car only if you do not make the prior declaration. AVOID ABSOLUTELY !!!!

Beautiful centrally located hotel with great views.

This hotel offers very good facilities (beautiful reception, corridors and rooms in perfect condition, cleanliness, calm, ...).
The breakfast, although varied and sufficient, consisted of relatively industrial elements and not very interesting. Compared to our previous stay a few years ago we remembered a better quality buffet.
However, we really enjoyed our stay in this hotel.
