An institution in Charleroi. The architecture is beautiful. Nice staff and very good advice. Finally, I left a well known web provider for the chance to have such a wonderful bookstore in my city.

Whenever I go there I had a good time. The vendors are pleasant friendly and helpful in addition to knowing their department.
And if I do not find what I'm looking for I just have to ask and either They'll pick it up or they'll order it. In addition the prices are not high.

Magnificent bookshop, both outside (with a preserved facade which contrasts with Rive Gauche in front) and inside where 4 floors of books of all kinds love that you devour them. There is something for everyone: novels of course in all styles, but also essays, political books, school materials, university books, for travel, for children, to study, to meditate, list is endless. Employees are available throughout the store to inform you of the location of a book or to place an order if necessary. My advice: go to the back of the store and climb the wooden stairs: you will come across a display of books "favorites" recommended by the bookstore. A boon when looking for inspiration!

This is my favorite bookstore, it reigns a warm atmosphere as we find in very few places. She is very tall and has a varied selection of books; there is always a way to find happiness!
Sellers will always be there to tell you with a smile where the book you are looking for, or to take your order.
If, like me, you buy textbooks there, you may have the opportunity to go and get one in reserve; you can then enjoy the magnificent spectacle offered by the old granary of this old establishment.

I love this bookstore. Well, as mentioned for Gibert, Paris, I'm not objective. But here, frankly, you have to be very difficult to not like or not to like to read. Because nothing but the building is worth a look. Great choice of books overall although a little light in politics and history but better than some large cultural area specialized in culture.
