Because for me, 5 and 4 stars, is the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, the Palace of Versailles or the Cathedral of Amiens and therefore for me, three stars is also a very good note that I reserve to shops and restaurants

There are a lot of things, gift ideas in quantity, the staff is nice but the storage and how to say rough, the prices a little expensive. An escalator stopped, and only 3 cases, plus service, gift wrapping possible.

The stationery is a little more expensive than elsewhere and then some people lack a little friendliness and the prohibition to touch the level of soft toys to choose one does not necessarily want to ask a saleswoman to look and choose. Finally I do not see what the customer card reports now I have not had any commercial discount for several years.

This store is for me the best store selling books on Amiens, the choice is very wide and if despite this your book is not available at the store, you can always order it to pick it up later. There are also youth and childcare departments which opens up even more choices. It is also the best store for those who want to collect their school books. And finally there is even a board game and entertainment department. In short, a very good book store and more than that!

But sometimes I had to deal with unhelpful employees when I asked for a simple piece of information (foreign literature specifically). It has changed since then, but I really hope it will not happen again.

The last independent bookshop in Amiens. A lot of people but what could do the most, that is to say the presence of advisers, does not work: they give the impression of spending their time on computers checking stocks or placing orders .I was looking for a work published by a local house, nobody to inform me, so I left without purchase. Coming back, I browsed the publisher's site in question, the book is available directly from them so I will order it online ... shame about the independent local trade :(

It's now 20 years since I walked the shelves of your bookstore for its wealth and its independent bookstore. However, for 3 years, half of my purchases (and therefore my visits) is done elsewhere than at home. My last (and last) visit this morning reminded me why. Execrable staff (except youth department). Working in a box like this and in the middle of so many books is a privilege that should naturally push your booksellers to smile and transmit. Do they read only for themselves? We must believe that trade is not in crisis. Such a waste! At this rate you will become the best friends of your competitors ...

Basically I wanted to go to the ink page library which was unfortunately closed. If I had known I would have refrained from hammering.
The only pleasant person was the security guard who is not part of the staff.
There was a lady at the checkout absolutely unfriendly, neither with me, nor with others, nor on the phone. On the same shelf and at the same checkout.
It is unfortunate. Especially for this kind of boutique on a human scale.

Full store, nice and well maintained. Ideal for finding books but also gifts for various occasions and various audiences. The reception has been considerably improved even if there are some elements sometimes unpleasant. I was pleased to see that the store cared about the image and feel of customers on the store, indeed I posted a first negative comment about the reception that I described as "execrable", I had an answer from a manager of Martelle who sought to understand my opinion and who expressed me in an email the willingness to change this negative opinion into a positive opinion. I'm changing it today, believing that it is improving and will continue to improve.
