Le Royal Hotel Review

Now, I hate my stay. The internet speed is 1.5 MB and not stable. This will make tour stay as a nightmare
Also during the storm you can hear the wind sound from the balcony and so I couldn t sleep
Also sport channels are not available in the rooms

Le Royal is one of the best hotels i have been to in Lebanon

Save yourself the time and stop right here. Hands down the most remarkable property in Lebanon, if not the whole world. Nothing but incredible services, top notch vibes, beautiful views and a welcoming staff. I will come to Beirut every year just to stay in this hotel. With love, Yousif

The price is high for the services and the hotel was accessed at 4 am on Friday and out 2 am on Saturday and was counted 2 nights and the hotel was never helpful.

The quality of services was very very bad at all .
If i need anything , i can't reach anyone especially room reservation. Btw there's no one wake up at the early morning to answer any phone calls..

Loved the experience of coming here to Google UX masterclass... Staff was super professional, the view fantastic and the food was great...

UPDATE: I received a call from Mrs Rania in the customer services and she promised to fix the wifi issue and she really did for the rest of my stay.
Based on that I am oncreasinv my stars rating from 2 to 3
And updated nmy verdict below to "to be considered"

UPDATE: The receptionist called me and gave me a free temporary code to connect my 3rd device to the internet, but I am still finding the whole wifi thing as inconvenient

The hotel is average despite of high room rates.
You can see one of the seats is not clean in the pictures.

The design is quite outdated and does not make sense for things like the power supply that is far away from the office desk for example, I asked for power extension and got it, problem solved but wondering what the designer was thinking about to locate the power supply that far.

Inspite of above average charges, it is very inconvenient to find out that I need to pay for WiFi if I have more than 2 devices?!
I travel on weekly basis internationally and I can not recall when was the last time I paid for internet services within a 5 stars hotel anywhere in the world?

Staff are fine, rooms are spacious, view might be good but all of these features could be found easily in many other places.

I may think to be back again to stay in Le Royal Beirut.

To be considered

The place is magical and very beautiful. The set up and design makes you feel totally immersed in a titanic ship.
This was not our first time at this place but might be the last
We re not sure what was different today but when you go to one of the best hotels in Lebanon you expect first of all a great service. My wife ordered a soft drink which was delivered to our table in a can with a straw. I mean that would have been acceptable in a snack where such drinks cost 1,000LBP but at le royal's titanic piano bar, it's well below expectations.
Second of all, a delay of more than an hour in delivering the platters is totally unacceptable. I did order grilled chicken which might need some time but my friend ordered a salad that was delivered 10min after my chicken. What was even worse were the comments from the staff about our feedback following the delay in receiving our food.
Truly disappointed

One of the best hotels in all of Lebanon. Super clean and staff are friendly and helpful. All the benefits of 5 stars hotel is there and more. It's a bit remote on the opposite side of town from downtown so you might want to plan your visit well. Having a water park is a huge plus for the kids

Great venue
Went for the spa it was super.
One remark on the time of massage, its less 10 minutes from reserved time.
Other wise it was very good, the treatment, the pool, the jacuzzi and the full access.
