Lalandia Billund A/S Review

Very good for kids. Pets and some disappointing food in the restaurants, but good opportunities to cook at the cottage

We were in monkeytonky country that day guests 2 adults and 2 children. Ate behind the deli grill.

Great cabins and a lot of stuff to do, mostly for families with small children, but the waterslides are for everyone

Great fun park swimming pool bowling monkey town. There is a large park with a balance bike or something

Great way to get tired kids, mediocre food and some family fun. Pro tip: get the extended parking ticket on your first day or park across the street where there may be free parking.

Incredible water park. But a lot of hysterical people. Suited kids excellent with all the attractions. Just cool slides!

Fresh cottage, close to both Lalandia and Legoland. The bathroom is ok, but not much more. The climbing land was a bit crowded and trapped.

We had a fantastic weekend in Lalandia Billund nothing to complain about. Great stay, good cabins with plenty of space, nice water park where everything just worked and delicious food. Really nice area with cafes and restaurants and great shows for the kids on stage right in the middle of it all thanks for a great experience!

Okay place, but too expensive and then Billund is far better.

Applies to Aquadome: Don't fall for the advertisement. There are many equally good places in Sweden for a fraction of the price. The Danes feel inefficient. At opening day, the queues grew rapidly but only 2 cashouts. Inside the aquadome there were long queues for everything. If you wanted glass and soft drinks you got to stand in 2 queues that went to the same kiosk. There was only 1 restaurant with animals and if I am kind mediocre heated food. The bracelets used as cupboard openers came loose all the time. Got tape. The positive was that it was good for the smaller children type 3 to 5 years. When driving out of the car, the machine did not completely accept visa cards. Bad with info so you had to go all the way in again with honed and angry behind.

Great for the kids with free playground and water park. Ok for the parents. Walking distance to Legoland!

Good aquapark, very relaxing area even if you wont enter aquapark.

A little tricky to pay for parking, but the place is fine and clean, sweet staff and good atmosphere

Nice houses, nice clean and spacious park, lalandia center and legoland close to each other

Great house to rent, Great playground, Great water park, Lacks some noise cancellation inside lalandia so you don't feel like you're walking in a hallway

Get full year parking for 120dkr right outside the center.

Super fine, however, the cleaning of the holiday home had little to come after. But all in all a lovely weekend

Lalandia in Billund is a cannon place to be on holiday ...

But, however, are sad their summer houses that you can hear everything that goes on the floor
but otherwise very good holiday homes!


If you only have to be on holiday with children aged 1-10 years, this is the place to be


Lalandia in Billund is a good place as there is only a small stone throw to Legoland
But sin it is a shame that Lalandia and Legoland do not make a fight together.

Great attractions for kids. But very sensitive to food and drinks you have brought yourself. Prices inside also flavorful ...
Tropical Island is the better and cheaper alternative.

This place is great for kids of all ages.
If you are a water dog, then their water park is at the top.

Beautiful house. Lots of light, space and tranquility. Very neat and clean. All the facilities to cook independently and stay there for a long time. Handy that you can park permanently in front of the house. Several playgrounds with sandboxing sand are always nearby. You can let your children walk around with confidence.

The swimming paradise and indoor shopping and experience center is not so devoted to us. Too busy and not enough oxygen. In itself nice if you are not that sensitive.
We also found the climbing tower, trampolines and coffee and snack house much more pleasant.

Great base for a trip to Denmark with children. Beautiful, clean bungalows, a beautiful water park with phenomenal water slides, pouring sessions in sauna, ... Something for everyone: fitness, indoor playground, Winterland where you can climb, ski and skate, mini golf, bowling, sports bar, eateries, supermarket, everything below 1 roof. Outside an adventure park and sand sculptures. Within walking distance of the airport, Legoland and the sculpture park.

Lovely water park, can easily spend 6 hours or more. Not unexpectedly, they sell snacks and water / sodas at hampers prices. But fun and entertaining for many hours.

Paradise if you love the water park. Minus is very high noise level

Water park + village.
Lalandia is located next to Legoland, which is very convenient, it turns out right across the road and Legolandville.
The shopping and entertainment center itself is very large. In addition to the aquadom, there is a bowling alley, mini golf, trampolines, an area for little visitors "Tonki-Monki", a children's clothing store of the same name, many slot machines with children's games, food courts, an ice rink, clothing stores and a grocery store, in the evening they organize an amateur concert ... Aquadom turned out to be small compared to the avkaparks where we used to be. To be fair, I also compare with indoor car parks. The cost of visiting is included in the cost of living, so I will not say how much it costs. There are several slides, a pool where, after a certain time, a sea wave is launched and a few more small pools, a river where people ride on warts, in all the pools the water is cold, but not quite. There is a children's pool with warm, comfortable water. There are also three Finnish saunas and a jacuzzi with warm water, where they went to bask. The design is like everywhere else: palm trees, blue tones. There is one food court.
Lalandia village. We rented a house of 75 sq.m. The house is very cozy, we really liked it. There is everything you need for life, I am not talking about existence, two bedrooms, a recreation area, a kitchen, a terrace, a bathroom. In the kitchen, dishes and utensils are in abundance, there is a coffee maker, kettle, blender, stove, oven, large refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher. The bathroom has a washing machine and dryer. Outdoor furniture on the terrace. The front door closes and opens with a code, the code is long, so they carried a piece of paper with them all the time. Near the house there is a parking lot for one car, which is why we took this house.

Went to the aquadome. Loads of fun, and nice waterslides. Had a toddler (under 2 years), and there were also activities for her.

If you like what Lalandia delivers, you get full value for money. Clean, neat, delicious and reasonable prices for food and drink. The artificial sky and the village are also quite impressive. If you hate the idea of vacationing in a shopping mall, you should find something else.

Surprisingly much to do, we were never bored. Great swim area, lots of restaurants and even a supermarked with NORMAL prices. Great for kids! Also, accommodations were terrific.

Very nice reception with the necessary information when we arrived. We were very satisfied with the house we rented, except for an insufficient amount of plates, cups, knives and forks for more than one day for a family. As for the center with Monky Tonky land and Aquadome both ourselves and the kids loved it, even though our youngest at 2 1/2 was a little too small for most of the activities.

I was positively shocked when we entered, it's like walking into Tuscany with blue skies and warm: D
We have bought the exclusive card which gives us free admission to a lot! Lekeland, aquaDome after 2 pm (, and the ice rink. It also costs you 10% on almost everything you can buy in lalandia, which comes in handy when it comes to buying ice cream, cheap clothes and a lot of small things :) You can do everything on lalandia, golf, skiing, climbing, playing lots in little Vegas, exercising, eating like kings, jumping trampoline and even climbing outside: D

Nice aqupark with good slides and nice pools. A lot of fun for the whole family from the smallest age. The place was busy but not overcrowded. You could enjoy all attractions with minimal wait time in queues.

We 2 adults and 2 children, have a really wonderful stay in Lalandia Billund.
The house we lived in was really nice, clean, well decorated and cozy.
The main building itself, with its many activities, is just so beautiful and atmospheric. You are immediately led back to the southern skies and every time you walk through the cozy streets, the eye catches something new and the buckles that must be examined.
The prices at the restaurants are too high, I know that the other "play countries" you can visit are in approx. same price rent, but that a simple lunch should cost us 800-1,000 kr is too expensive, and makes us just opt out of it instead.
The water park is impressive and there is something for every taste, age and activity level. However, there are two points for improvement, it is very dark in there, I wish it was a little brighter and inviting. Then there is the noise, that's the biggest problem the water park has, there's a constant noise of water splashing, people talking. It is so wrong that it is very difficult to hear what those you are with say to you. Here I would hope they will consider some acoustic records and maybe some calm or evocative music so you can have some peace of mind while relaxing with the family.
But all in all, a really good, fun and successful holiday at Lalandia Billund.

Just been to Lalandia ... Great for kids and adults

Lovely houses, and ok water park.
Good facilities and ok location.

Then we were just a smut mother, father and our 4 kids at Lalandia again, we lived in a design 6 house, it was super delicious and everything was as it should be. (there was wireless internet in the house) We all enjoyed ourselves in the big delicious water park and everything worked fine.

We will come again

Lalandia Billund as a place to stay and attractions is worth recommending. It must be remembered that linen, water and electricity are additionally payable. The house has no soap / washing liquids. No dryer. If someone is flying by plane, he must keep this in mind. A set of bedding and towels gets in the bag and for 4 people really weighs it. Nobody proposes, for example, an electric pram to help you suspend luggage and bed linen to the house, you have to walk to the house on this walk (you can take a part of the road by train, but this is only one route). Well, note the pool. They restrict strictly the washing up before entering the pool. It does not matter that no one controls whether the person has just wetted the water or used the liquid in the pool. PLEASE NOTE: We have a problem with the fact that the teenage daughter did not wet her head before entering, even though she washed her head in the morning. At the pool were other women with a bun, like a daughter, and dry hair. It was a Danish girl who acted as one of the rescuers, she met her daughter, her sister and other children of friends. During the conversation with her, she did not accept arguments about the indicated ladies. Finally, two families were forced to leave the pools. The second rescuer was so desperate that we would probably call the Danish police if we were to discuss it with him any longer. I can not assess the pools separately, which is why I am downgrading the entire complex just to the event from the pool.

Prices are generally unheard of high and border on a tourist trap.

A great place for families with children. The cabin was super nice, and fit right in for the four of us.
The water park is amazing and we spent many hours in there.
It was also cool to be able to eat and drink in there.
Only minus with the place is that there is so much extra you have to buy, which is not included in an otherwise quite high price.

Wonderful park. Also for the little ones. With the train to the pool.
