The setting is great but unfortunately the projection quality is no longer up to par with regard to IMAX laser projections.

Cool of good feeling but a vr helmet is still higher

The IMAX cinema is very impressive and the virtual reality animations (especially the drawing) are very appreciable.

Despite an aging infrastructure, there is still the magic of the place!

You can take the tickets on the internet, no need to check out, go directly to the queue of the geode.
Remember to present a quarter of an hour before the session to choose your places.
The film "whales" is interesting and for all public, great for a family outing!

The session lasts about forty minutes.

If you are passionate about whales, it's nice but it's not a documentary with a lot of information, although in the end, we offer a website for more info.

An original movie theater, which offers a fairly limited choice of sessions, but all of which are breathtaking! A real visual experience to live at least once in his life, in this beautiful setting that is the Parc de la Villette.

Hemispherical IMAX, in a hemispherical room. An experience to try at least once if you are a fan of cinema.

It appears like a planet on the water. Inside a huge cinema hall with a completely new design when it was inaugurated, the seats are reclining, the half-sphere screen offers a surface of 1000m2 of view . The image and sound offer a maximum degree of realism comparable to the visual field of a raptor. The first time I went there I was also like a bird flying over the mountains. Unforgettable.

Aging badly ... Price too high and above all .. film and comments not very interesting

The place is always impressive. Advertisements at the beginning inadmissible considering the price of entry. Quality of film A beautiful plant not extraordinary: subject rather clutter, moralistic speeches a bit out of place .. approximate French translation. Too much public .. At the city of science we expect better content.

Very cool to look at even though it's currently closed until 2020 for improvements.

Cinema with spherical Imax screen. They only look short, not movies.

Situated in a beautiful technology park, far from the center and nothing more attractive in the place.

I saw a documentary in it and I must say that the effect is truly unique. The projection of the video takes place on the whole surface of the sphere and one has the sensation of being almost in a virtual reality. The ticket costs 9 euros reduced for young people but I think it is certainly worth it.

Loved it! The kids didn't even care that the movie was in French. The IMAX experience is definitely worth a visit. We booked our tickets on line. Try to get a seat toward the top middle of the theater.

Nice experience, interesting 45 minute documentaries.
On the other hand, I went to see the one on the international space station, and since we don't know which way they are because of the gravity which is zero, it can be nauseous at times.

I went with 3 children 11/9/4 and it pleased everyone.

Cinema that broadcasts striking documentaries, but relatively high prices

My family and I designed VR headsets, thinking that they would have cutting edge technology at the geode, but in reality it was the equivalent of cardboard googles ( 2.50), a simple cardboard box with a laptop in, on top of that the phones were of poor quality, the image was blurry, in short a scam, but otherwise IMAX movies are fine

The 180-degree screen offers a real immersion in the quality of what we find in the futuroscope. We saw the movie "panda" and we loved it, young (10 and 11) and older (no comment).

Very beautiful room with superb sound, put yourself right in the middle the panoramas are more striking because you cannot see the edges of the screen, immersion guaranteed (well, we are a little behind on the neck but it's worth it, without bad play on words :). Special mention to the audio system which leaves everywhere in an irreproachable quality.

One of the best cinema in the 19th arrondissement. I highly recommend it.

The positive: The VR route is (in part) stunning, and the little animators are very nice!

Very nice the 3D film between the two sessions at the city of science.

it is a reallly interesting experience to visit the geode. The outside structure is really fantastic, and you can eventually get in. Once you are in, you will get 3d eye glasses and you will be able to see movies, having the impression that candies are flying around!

Great disappointment. A disrespectful security service, an average film, an exit with almost no lighting, padlocked emergency exits in the city. Is it unacceptable what would happen if the crowds were evacuated? Panic and drama ???
