One of my favourite places again after a 30 year gap

Nice big pub in the centre of Lucan Village. The large extension is very well designed. Great pub food and decent beer. Great table quiz of a Thursday.

Kennys is the nicest spot in lucan village for a few drinks

In general we are pleased with choice of drinks and service. It's layout is interesting as there are bar/ snug/ lounges and smoking garden area. We will be BACK for sure

Great bar with lots of different spaces to suit all tastes, great food and good selection of craft beer on tap but a very disappointing section of gin dispite it been sold in their off license.

Yesterday we had our baby's welcome party in the function room of Kennys of Lucan. We are locals & we go there for food which is always lovely.

We booked it because it was far more affordable for an event than anywhere else...we enquired with a lot of function rooms, hotels, etc.

The function room is at the back so it's a contained space where kids can be without any danger of them opening a front door. It leads out into the lovely little garden area too.

They catered so well for coeliacs & vegetarians and the finger food was really really nice. The people who required gluten free food were absolutely delighted with what they got to eat.

They facilitated all the babies and kids very well.

They allowed us to decorate the room on Friday night. So it was ready for Saturday.

The staff were great, from the time of booking to the bar during the event to checking afterwards if we were happy with everything and they thanked us for having our event there.

I'd highly recommend them and their function room for any events.

Thanks a million for everything, we will be back for our next event!

Had a lovly meal here before Christmas, ticked all the boxes

Nice Pub, nice people. Good chicken wings. Sad they removed the Nacho's. Nice steak too.

The Thursday quiz is excellent fun and well organised

Booked a table for 9pm for our anniversary dinner. Was told on the phone last dinner order was 9.30pm. Payed for a taxi down and upon arrival at 9.06pm was informed at the front door the kitchen staff had finished up and gone home. As Covid restrictions require a meal we were unable to come in for our booked dinner and had to pay for a return taxi home. Bar manager offered a non genuine apology and was very unhelpful start to finish. Complete disaster and extremely unorganised bar.

Large and busy bar and lounge with music and lively crowd.

Great service. Probably taking covid precautions the most seriously of any place I've been too. Also employing lots of staff. I'd encourage all to spend your time here.

Lovely pub grub and nice spot to watch any sports events in TV.

Was there on a Thursday when they do a weekly table quiz, I really enjoyed it. Table quiz only a 1 per person! granted top prize is something like 30 but i wasnt going just to win! I was there for the fun of it and it has a great atmosphere. Can't complain Staff are lovely to!

What can I say only that this is probably one of the best pubs one can spend an evening in.

The recent refurbishment offers a stylish new ambience without sacrificing the 'old fashioned' feel of the speedy and we'll staffed bar. Floor staff are always bustling away to makes sure all drinks are fired out as quickly as is humanly possible!
