Kalinga Hotels Pvt Ltd , Jodhpur Review

Hotel is close to the railway station as well as the major tourist attractions in Jodhpur. We had a bit of trouble with the staff but the over all experience was good.

Kalinga Hotel is the perfect epitome of the renowned hospitality of Jodhpur. The rooms are super clean and hygienic. The hotel staff is extremely cooperative and efficient. The hotel is in amazing proximity to the railway station and is a very easy location to get Auto Rickshaws. City Market, super markets are in close proximity too. I am not exaggerating when I say that the hotel has a very homey yet royal touch to it and I have no doubt in mentioning that it is definitely a superb option to enjoy your stay in the Sun City!

This hotel is very good. The behaviour of the staffs are amazing. Rooms are clean. Top class service. Though the food price is higher than other hotels, the quality of the foods also is much better than the others. Location is also convenient. Not even a 5 minutes walk from Jodhpur railway station. This is the best hotel I have stayed till date.

Really good service and facilities. Very near to the railway station. Also provide help for taxis and city tour.

Clean and spacious room, clean bathroom, excellent water pressure. Staff is quick, good and responsive. The breakfast is so and so but it is a budget hotel. There is a TV, fridge and kettle in the room as well.

Some times cost does matter but enjoyment is necessary

Very Nice hotel.
Walking distance from Jodhpur Railway Station . Well appointed rooms.Good well mannered staff. Rooms are very cozy and the toilets are very neat and clean.
In room dining facility as well as proper restaurant is also there. We stayed only for one night. Overall very good.and comfortable stay.Very good restaurant.
Worth for money.
For the first time Boiled Eggs on order were served duly peeled off .
Really highly appreciated.
Morning Breakfast was very good.
Other hotels should learn to improve customers satisfaction.

We had a wonderful stay . Staff is good .food is slightly costly as what is avbl in nearby area with same quality . No south indian food option for breakfast .

paneer tikka.
This scrumptious-looking paneer tikka was amazing in taste. Smokiness flavour was well balanced, other vegetables were also marinated and cooked well.
I forgot to take the pic of green chutney but that chutney taste was spot on.

A good hotel, with tasteful multi cuisine restaurant, and walking to railway station.

One of the best Hotel + Restaurent.I am from Jodhpur and I know this place from my childhood but visited it for the first time ,yesterday. Super clean, hyginic, awesome maintenance by the owner, staff's behavior is top notch. The moment you entered the restaurent, you'll feel like you came to a Royal Place. All food items are delicious at affordable rates. A must visit for food lovers.

The best hotel hands down!!!Its located at just 100 meters distance from Jodhpur Railway station. Renowned Janta sweets and Vibrant Clock Tower are at walking distance. Hotel rooms are spacious and well maintained.Hotel has an in-house restaurant and a trendy bar as well.Wifi connectivity is swift. Hotel staff is polite and thorough professional. Highly recommend this upscaled property.

Food at the restaurant was very good. We had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. Decent facility near the Railway station. Would have really appreciated had they kept the balcony clean. Could find many half smoked cigarette lying around. First day hot water they brought in buckets as the centralised geyser was not working. The second morning, the room service guy did some valve adjustments and hot water came.
Could make a raised provision near the bathroom door to prevent water from coming outside the bathroom and into the room

Almost walking distance from Jodhpur railway station, that is best part, service from staff it's good.

The hotel is in the best possible location literally across the street from the railway station. The staff seems cheerful but we had a few issues with the overall. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are clean. The food we ordered were less than average but had a 4.1 stars on zomato for some reason. The basic amenities are literally basic and no frills. Would I stay here again? Just because of the location, probably yes.

Was there for 2 days , rooms and service were decent but food is not that good , quantity was very less and it didn't taste that good .

A very good place to live in as well as to have food. The deluxe room was very spacy and the double bed size was also good.They provide customers with a good and fast service.

Everything thing is good. Worth to stay here and near to Railway Station.

Ambience is good, vegetarian food is very good in here. Non-vegetarian starters are good. But Main-course is average. Price is not high compared to the ambience. Staffs are very friendly. They also offer discounts just enquire prior to the bill.

Bigger rooms have balcony..better deal..smaller rooms do not have windows facing outside..food is really good..tried lal maas and dal makhani and both were delicious

The Hotel is really good.Location is great.Facilities are great.

But there are certainly lots of space for improvement.

Cons :

1. Be Courteous. There is no welcoming gesture from any of the Management of the Hotel, infact you will feel kinda weird as how they have no sense of greeting towards there customer and you will feel as if you are burden to them.

2. No running hot water. Every time you need to call reception, house keeping to turn the heater on to get the hot water which i feel was not value for money for the sum of amount we pay.

3.Food is okay, need lot of improvement there as it is much much costlier.

4.Rest is all good I will surely recommend guests to visit the hotel, you won't regret.

5. Rooms are Superb, Cleanliness is Great,Washrooms, Towels all are neat.

6.All the room functions TV, Hot tea pot, Refrigerator works perfectly.

7.Daily Newspaper is also provided in your room.

8. Check in Check out was effort less.

During my stay it is under rennovation its online booking so no chance for refund its very bad experience.

though this hotel is not a 5 star hotel but the facilities, accommodation and services offered by them looking to the tariff charged is great value for money and that is the reason i give it a 5 star rating. the property is located very near to railway station and that is the boon to the guests arriving or departing to railway station.there is very less noise in the rooms, though it is located in a very heavy traffic area. The room , washrooms etc are very good and the same is with the complimentary breakfast provided by them.

Nice stay, big rooms, helpful staff and most important its just 2 minutes walking from railway station.

Lovely place to stay .. and great service by staff n manager .. walkable from the closest market and station, the food here is a must try... I was here during Nov 2015.
