Kabira Country Club is the most convergence points for Ugandan elites. It boasts of a well equipped gym, quality meeting rooms and restaurants. It is owned by an Indian who is said to be the most wealthiest man in Ugandan (not verified). It is located in the heart of Central Kampala and a bit exorbitant for average ugandans

Great food. They have really upgraded their cuisine and also their customer care. The dining ambience is great. Well done Kabira. You had fallen but like a phoenix, risen out of the ashes.

If you're there for the gym and pool or the accommodation I would say; great choice however for the food, not so much. Let's not forget all their menu prices are tax exclusive! It's 2019 and they still do that.

first visit the gym and pool staff were amazing but the wait staff had a terrible attitude. I took a chance and went back a couple of times and clearly that was a one off. Parking is available. the juice bar at the gym makes a mean lemon pineapple ginger juice and the pool side ambiance is quite unmatched.

This is an incredibly overpriced hotel ($180-200 regular room) for what they are offering: a quite terriblel breakfast with stale bread and unfresh food, poor wifi connecion, rooms that would need revamp... For half the prize it would be okay, but you cannot charge top dollar and offer substandard service.

The pool is great and the staff very friendly. Unfortunately the management is just pocketing the benefits and not re-investing in the hotel, or so it seems. Come and use the facilities, no need to stay the night here at ridiculous prices.

Gym

Nice place

Nice place
Friendly staff
You can swim & go to the gym.
Food is okay, but they should do better on that.

I picked Kabira specifically for the gym, and was not disappointed. Everything was functional, and not at all busy.

The excellent Indian food at the restaurant was a nice bonus.

The pool is also nice, and wasn't busy while I was there.

I was in a room with a view facing the city. It was a little noisy on the balcony, but didn't bother me at all and I had no problem sleeping. If you're especially sensitive to noise, one of the garden view rooms would be better.

Linen was clean. The bed was firm comfortable. The plumbing in the bathroom was a little questionable, but functional. The materials and craftsmanship are not Western standard, but still pretty nice.

Service varied between excellent and fine.

I'm happy and would return!

(In my photo, I've cropped out the moderately busy street next to the hotel, and service area below the room. It's still a nice view)

Totally unserious, we sat for 10 minutes with waiters walking passed us and when we stood up to walk away they surrounded us to take our order md Yet they were jumping to serve white people I have been a member for years but this was disappointing. Terrible just terrible
