This is the best of the best; outstanding care provided!!

First of all I want to express how no communication between the doctors or nurse was relayed to my family. Doctors or nurses should have contacted my family to see my health history. They put a nicotine patch on me and I m not even a cigarette smoker.

I will never come to this hospital again. Perhaps they're understaffed but that doesn't help me. First and foremost I know this is too much information but when we first got to the room after eight hours in the ER I had some Dilaudid in me and the nurse asked me the last time I had gone to the bathroom All my days were all mixed up and I thought I said Tuesday she thought I said Thursday which would have made it last week so she gives me Colace and I immediately start having diarrhea and continue to have diarrhea for 18 hours, they wouldn't give me anything to help because they wanted me to flush myself out good God in heaven. I had diarrhea about 5:30 the next morning..m I called three times for somebody to come help me go to the bathroom. I didn't want to announced it over the loud speaker that I was laying in poop so at 7:30 when they switched nurses I had to tell them again. So I laid there for two hours before somebody would help me get changed. The inadequate care and the way they drag things out for days is beyond anything I've ever seen.... they scheduled an upper endoscopy for me. I was prepped for three hours then the doctor decided not to do it he decided to do a MRI on my liver and a HIDA (some kind of nuclear thing)...An MRI was scheduled for me 2 days ago still no MRI I was supposed to be under contact precautions and be sent to a private room. But I laid in a room with the lady with bronchitis for two and a half days and guess who got bronchitis. Yep me....the refused tob give me anything to help me sleep even though the lady next door hacked until I thought a lung was coming out! EAR plugs..that don't work. Next day THE loudest Haitian woman came in the bed next to me and would get on the phone for hours at a time then her husband came in and they decided to watch a prayer meeting together it was so loud that Bobby and I couldn't have a conversation. so inconsiderate, not one person said something to her even when I asked them to. so I actually took my phone out and recorded her on the phone so you could here how loud she was. one phone call started at 10 till 11 and finally at 2:15 she got off the phone. I'm going to go home and start a list from the time I got out of the ER (which by the way was amazing). I'm going to start a list of every ridiculous thing that happened. I know things happen and they're only human, but this stuff is ridiculous. I'm in there for nausea vomiting and pain in my abdomen as before, nobody even knew I had been there before it's right in their records. They gave me the same tests ($$$$) they gave me last time and I asked the nurse for nausea medicine when I finally get out of the ER. 4 hours later she remembered....which was too late cuz I started throwing up again and once it starts it doesn't stop I just don't understand.

I had a wonderful experience at JFK stress lab. Everyone was pleasant, professional,and calming. The environment was clean.The procedures were explained to me prior to the testing. Thank you so much.

The associates at jfk did what they were supposed to but it was all done carelessly. Wrapping a small forearm wound should not take 20 minutes and on top of that the nurse asked if it was a tattoo as if I was not bleeding from it. Regardless, the many times I have gone to this medical center seeking professional points of view on a reoccurring issue I always got sent home because I was fine, just give it a couple days .

Everything about my visit was very good, except... I had to make the call to find out what time I was to e at the hospital and where I was supposed to report.

So far so disgusting experience I have...parking problem is the main reason I hate this hospital...and nurses and doctors are so so so much rude btw

Medical staff = good
The billing department is filled with savage, unethical puppets. I paid my bill in full on the day services were rendered. For whatever reason, I was billed twice and regardless how many times I provide proof and explain, they don t care. Tighten up.

Worst experience as a patient for my wife. Horrible patient experience for her. Absolutely awful. Doctor came once never bothered to come back. No communication on the part of staff. Very poor care. My wife's stay at JFK was horrible. The bathroom in her room was filthy nobody brought her meals. She always had to ask for meal. She was kept tin the ER for 13 hours couldn't get anything to eat. She was never explained instructions when discharged. I could go on and on with what went wrong for her. I should have taken my wife to a different hospital.

Wish I could give zero stars. Saddest part is I read a review almost exactly like mine from a week ago. I have been sick and in bed for over a week when I decided to go to JFK. I was very physically ill, as the nurse can attest to. The doctor ordered labs and did a CT of my stomach. Discharged me saying I was fine... WRONG. After reviewing everything my labs were completely out of whack and one of their radiologist reported in my CT that my appendix was identified and not inflamed .. I had my appendix removed years ago! Terrible terrible and unreliable which is sad for these times we are going through. Will not go back.

As I sit here with my wife I asked to talk to the nurse 2 and half hours ago the nice lady called her she said that she would be right over to talk to me. That was 2.5 hours ago so I asked someone else an hour and half later they called her and she said the same thing that she would be right in. Now its 6:15 and shift change is coming up so I bet she won't be coming in any time soon. All I have is one simple question is when is a doctor going to come and actually see my wife not including the one in the ER. Its been 36 hours. No doctor has stepped foot in this room to see my wife yet. They have ordered tests and medications but NO DOCTOR HAS TALKED TO HER OR ME SINCE SHE HAS BEEN HERE....

I was very well cared for. The nurses were wonderful. The lab and food service people were also excellent.

The staff was wonderful. They took good care of me. The only problem I had was the surgeon putting in a catheter in my neck caused me terrible pain doing a procedure that is supposed to be painless. Had a supervisor there yelling at the person doing it "do not lose the wire"!

Positive experience. Room was kept clean nursing staff was caring Food was adequate.

Terrible experience . Will not use it again or recommend to anyone . Treatment at Emergency and stays at Hospital was unnacceptable.

I would like give zero stars but can't i walked in was told to go to the other desk clerk even though i had stated i was having chest pain and my left arm was numb i achingly walked wall gripping my chest do to the pain to be told the same thing by the other desk clerk then i stood at the digital kiosk filled it out and was told to go to the other deak clerk again who then told me well use your other arm to fill it out yet again what kind of place treats someone who was having sever chest pains and numbed left arm like this it's ridiculous

Everything was great, perfect care except for the pillows - they were like pancakes and very uncomfortable.

The staff was very nice and efficient. Dr. Bittane was wonderful and treated me with care. I have no problem using the Radiology Dept. for any further procedures.

Second time my Mother was transported to this H- ER Doctor Zalacain is super nice, straight forward and kind. However, once my mother was admitted and getting released case manager was rude and has to be more educate and able to do help patients relatives better. I was ask to delivery message to nurse regarding my mothers meds and all she response was is not my job I have to let you speak to her ...
FYI- is everybody s job the health of the patient and I wasn t asking for something that hard or difficult. More trainer and a serious customer service is need there. Thank you all-

The staff was wonderful caring, professional, willing to help, friendly, pleasant.
The food was good, the salmon was fresh and delicious.

The nurse Rosalie was wondering and caring. She genuinely cared about my dad's comfort.

Horrible! If you dont care about your life. Come here! Came in to the emergency room and my pain was on 10. They did the absolute minimum. I was in a room in an uncomfortable chair for hours only to be told to take tylenol. I was in tears and couldn't move. I told them I wouldn't leave and wanted to be admitted until they took my blood and ran more test. It wasn't until then they agreed and ran more test. The results of my test showed I needed more than tylenol. I would of probably been dead if I didn't insist on them running more test.

Fifth Floor Surgical Recovery Rocks. I had shoulder surgery at this hospital, and was a bit concerned because of the reviews. Boy, was I wrong! My experience FAR exceeded anything I could have imagined. From the registration process the week before to the minute I was wheeled to my car. The fifth floor nursing staff is the best kept secret in health care. I cannot find a strong enough adjective to describe just how AWESOME they are. If it wasn't for the pain, I would find a way to go back for another stay.

This hospitals well most hospitals are a rip off. How someone comes in for alcohol poisoning and y all charge them for two bags of saline water of over $8,000? What exactly are they paying for? The cheap plastic equipment, the needle that goes on the vein, the chair they are sitting on, I just don t get it. Plus the 4x4 room we were sitting in was dusty and had me sneezing the whole time. I need answers!!!!!

I have to say that every single department I went to was extraordinary. The nurses, technicians, aides, check in clerks, Physicians and everyone I came into contact with treated me like I was family. This was a 360 degree turn from the last time I was at the hospital. I praise the administration for a phenomenal job!

Why is the ER staff always so rude? It never fails. The doctors and Pa's are clearly the only ones with manners and its gotten so much worse over the years. You shouldn't get into nursing if you have no compassion for others. Will definitely go to Good Sam next time, they are beyond amazing and compassionate

I would call it Club JFK staff jokes around while you try and ask serious health questions which usually ends in the Doctor will be in ask them as they walk out. The doctor I had rolled his and her eyes as I asked medical questions then when I realized they just wanted to keep me there to run up my insurance. No food or required medication, had to disconnect from machine to get anyone to come in an ER ROOM!!!. Then was bullied by nurse that I should stay was tried to be held if I didn't have discharge papers. Almost like a jail

I was very happy with the way JFK took care of me. I recommend this hospital to everyone.

Horrible treatment and unfair billing!!! Beware!!! Stay away if at all possible! Extremely long wait and ER doctors have absolutely no skills! They sent our account to a collection agency with no warning while they were fully aware we were still working things out with the insurance company.
