Food was good as were the beverages. Atmosphere was solid. Service was very slow (30-45 minutes to take my drink order for example) and they forced a 20% tip on us. I usually tip more than 20% except for cases like this where the service was poor.

The food was fantastic!!!! We enjoyed the Sea Bass/the Shrimp and Grits and Collard Greens. The customer service was FRIENDLY AND GREAT!!!!! Jose, the bartender/chef, knows his way around the bar. Jose treated us like royalty with GREAT COCKTAILS. Happy hour starts at 4pm. Thank you J. CoCo!!!!

Very attentive, friendly, and accommodating staff. Nice selection of cocktails, beers, and wines by the glass. Food was decent but not memorable. I had the trout special. The fish was good, but the sauce was excessively heavy and overwhelming. Lamb meatball appetizer was good, but dry. My colleagues had the wagyu hamburger and short rib entree and seemed to enjoy them. All in all, a nice experience but being from out of town, J. Coco probably wouldn't be a place I'd rush back to.

Had the special for the night ( pork tenderloin and lasagna) looked like art work and tasted just as good. Also order a side dish of brussel sprouts not your average sprouts so good. I'll just say anything with bacon is better. Ordered a to go order for my wife the wyosomething burger with avocado and egg she said it was outstanding as she ate it without breathing meat itself was perfectly cooked. Great job!!!! Overall the food was good. I made the mistake of ordering the Prime Rib sandwich which was tough. The salad dressing was fantastic. I wish they would bottle it. I will go back again to try the oxtail stroganoff. The service was slow. I know there was a party in back and the place was full but we had to ask several times for different items. The food did come out at different times for our group of seven.

Amazing ambience, cozy atmosphere and tasty food. We started with the meat and cheese plate which was the perfect entrance to the rest of our experience. The ribeye was perfectly cooked and my salad was crisp and fresh. Everyone was so friendly and they catered to our requests without any problems. I will definitely be returning.

The vegan secret menu options were freaking spectacular!!! I came with a non vegan and LOVED his food too! It was so good I didn't get a picture because we gobbled it down so quickly! We ordered Moscato too and it was absolutely delicious!! If you are vegan let them know IN ADVANCE and they will take very good care of you. Geesh it was so bomb!! Thank you for have more options other than salads for plant based friends :)
Will definitely come back!

One of my favorite restaurants in town. The food here is top quality and the atmosphere creates a great dine in experience. The outdoor patio is nice on a beautiful day. I would acknowledge that dinning in may take some time here, so make sure you have enough time on yours hands to enjoy the experience.

Good food (steak and steelhead), reasonable range of food options with varying price points. Staff friendly. Outdoor seating available (summer). They have a shared parking area which allows for adequate close parking. I would not bring my young kids there, ambiance geared more for adults.

It's also hard to know the raters reference scale. Here is mine:
4 stars is a good rating, 3 stars is average. Large restaurant chains (not including "higher end" chains like Morton's, Sullivan's etc.) would generally never make it above a 3. I wouldn't include fast food places in a scaled rating calculus because all of them would get a 0 star rating.

Well... moved here this year and have always loved the restaurant....how did we not know they were pet friendly until now......Where is the 10star button on the reviews!!!!! Great food....great service...and any place that allows pets gets an extra 5 stars in my book!!!!!!

Overall we were very satisfied with our experience. I had the pork belly steam buns, spring pea and asparagus soup, lobster bolognese, and strawberry champagne cake - all selected from the pre set menu. My favorite dishes were the pork belly buns and bolognese. Both were packed with flavor. The soup and cake were a bit lacking on flavor.

Drunken Mussels, cheese board, halibut and sea bass were on the menu for us at J. Coco tonight. Our appetizers were incredible. My hubs loved the sea bass which he typically wouldn t order (especially since there wasn t scallops on the menu so he branched out). Cheese board was so good, and the halibut was perfect. The service was super friendly and down to earth. Made us feel like regulars when it was our first time in. A slight wait between the appetizers and the main course, but sometimes it s ok to take a slower time to enjoy it all. Called ahead for a reservation but not overly crowded and all staff were masked. All in all a wonderful evening for a date night without kiddos.

Very nice ambiance, modern, elegant, but not pretentious. Food was excellent and service was pleasant. We were travelling from out of town, and chose based on reviews. Did not disappoint!

Prices were moderately high, but quality and the atmosphere were in line. The Cuban sandwich was the best I've ever had anywhere! Their house made ketchup is crazy good!

They like to close early and have inconsistent hours. Had a reservation one night and got turned away because they forgot to check their computer before closing the kitchen. Called multiple other times for to-go orders and the kitchen closes at least an hour before posted hours.

Have had good dining experiences there in the past and the food is usually good, just wish they could be more consistent with the hours.

First time here and won't be the last! The duck was my favorite dish here, appetizers were amazing. Service was on point and took very good care of us. Would have been 5 stars, but the party room we were in seemed like it had no air conditioning, it was very hot inside and I lost my appetite due to that. Otherwise I highly recommend it!

Great food and drinks the only downside was it seems to draw a some immature people who are way to good for everything and everyone around them. The only reason I say this is my wife and I brought my grandmother here and she was treated very poorly by the customers at the table next to us. I mean grow up high school for you people was 20 years ago! The waitress over heard what they were saying and moved us immediately. You would have been given 5 stars if they were asked to leave. Sorry I won t be back.

Even with a significant number of diners, my lunch was served without a cacophony of background chatter. My salmon swam elegantly between the Goldilocks zone. Indeed, it was just right. And, the wine offered the salmon it's last swim down my enteron.

The menu is amazingly diverse. The staff is very friendly. Definitely make reservations on a weekend night, though. Very busy.

Always great food. Nice to go to a restaurant where the chef makes a point of greeting guests and where much of the staff has been on board forever. You HAVE to try the buffalo cauliflower appetizer.

Our server, Scott was very kind, knowledgable of the menu, and made many helpful recommendations. The gal that sat us also came around towards the end and boxed up the remainder of our meals The food was equally as exceptional as the service. Will most definitely be visiting again.
