One of the best hotels in Cairo in an amazing mall known as City Stars. Lots of fun activities, shopping and great food. Would love to stay here again!

Had a great stay in a very nice room with a splendid view. The staff was very friendly and responsive to all of our requests.
We have also enjoyed a delicious food with a very nice service from the chefs and team. A special Thank You to Abdelrahman El kady efforts for us to have a great stay.

Bad stay....my mobile phone has been stolen...they didn't care... it's the worst hotel

To start off, the outstanding and highly welcoming gesture of the staff is beyond yielding and satisfying. As well as the lovely rooms, they are highly clean and meets the needs of every guest.

Great Hotel & Ideal Location . 15 minutes from the airport and directly attached to a huge modern mall. The rooms are spacious and the service is what you would expect from a top notch international hospitality group like the intercontinental. Staff are friendly and professional. Breakfast is fabulous and if you are staying for longer ask for one of the suites in the residence tower. Ours was almost 2000 sq ft with 2 bedrooms , 3 bathrooms, a great living / dining room and full kitchen and was the same price as a club room in the main tower.

Very good for shopping, lot of brands, good restraunts and coffee shops.

Great place for families where you enjoy your vacation to the maximum sure it is our first choice whenever we are in Cairo

Very good ambience and connected to the mall. Easy walk to the mall. Usual IC service and coutesy makes you feel at home.

the most cozy place you might go, you also can't pass by i guarantee that you'll stay for couple nights, also there's a bar and spa , can't wait to stay there again truly

The hotel is ok. The most annoying thing is the elevator. Super busy, it waste the time. I think this will be my last visit.

IMPORTANT! We were having a great stay until we had a very unfortunate incident at the pool with some local ladies and the hotel staff. I was on a business meeting and my wife was having a drink at the swim up pool bar by herself (in normal western swimwear as there were no rules anywhere that stated women had to cover) when a group of ladies wearing burkinis started screaming in Arabic in a very unpleasant tone pointing at my wife. Apparently they complained to the bartenders that my wife was looking indecent (in a bikini inside the pool in an European hotel) and the bartender asked my wife if she d like to move. My wife was humiliated and left very upset. We left a complaint but until today no one got back to us. It s important to note that we ve been living in a Muslim country for 3 years and never had such episodes. We will definitely not be going back to the intercontinental and advise all western women to cover up or they will be constantly stared at by the staff and frowned upon by Muslim families.

A majority of the staff does not understand simple English questions. They pretend to understand but that is definitely not the case. You need to ask everything twice to be sure that you are understood correctly. Double check prices before ordering alcoholic beverages, imported ones are extremely expensive. Bathrooms are not cleaned well. The hotel seems to be managed poorly.

Nice place, you can found everything thing that you need at one area, good parking out or inside the hotel .

Bathrooms are not as clean as a 5 stars hotel should be. Toiletries are always not their you have to ask. Coffee break is extremely poor. Coffee is very bad and cold. Lunch was OK yet lacks a lot. Salad bar is very premitive

Good check-in experience, room was nice, service always with a smile. Has City Stars Mall attached to it so that's why I enjoy staying here.

A famous series of hotels in the favourite mall in Egypt (City Stars). I attended many conferences in it. The conferences rooms and workshops rooms were good.

Very delicious teppenyaki cuisine at Shogun restaurant in intercontinental city stars.

I asked for "make up room" and the cleaner re-arrange my things that's why I forgot my souvenir pictures, good thing they found it and same day I arrange for pick up (courier) it's very simple considering partly it's their housekeeping mistake but I am having a hard time communicating with the DUTY MANAGERS !!!!! despite of all the emails and calls and they even call me back to apologize .............. they never respond to my mails and when i call for follow up they keep on transferring me to different departments and again I have to explain from the very beginning .......... I JUST WANT TO KNOW THE STATUS !!!!!!!! rest assured that we will no longer use this hotel!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE!!!

I loved the pool and Lifestyles gym.

It was by happenstance that I first came to stay at the Intercontinental City Stars as I usually stay at the Holiday Inn within the same complex but thought I'd give this hotel a try and I wasn't disappointed.

First, the hotel is in the very good, large and secure City Stars complex. This purpose built complex has all been tastefully combined with new architectural elements to combine with a massive shopping mall and luxury shopping experience and the foyer of the hotel has many Egyptian style features which are beautiful to look at. The rooms are comfortable and tasteful. With good sized bathrooms and large windows overlooking the pyramids of the pool area are a nice touch.

The front desk team are superb and very friendly, I was upgraded as I'm a IHG rewards club member which I recommend you join for free and you'll get the cheapest booking rate online. The ambience of the lobby, the bars and shops in the complex, and the range of dining options in the downstairs area, is generally classy and some good to superb. Staff are attentive without being obsequious. There seems to be an interesting range of patrons. It's a great mix of east and west and all tastes are catered for.

The room itself was beautiful. You have the heavenly bed which cannot be beat, but it also had a huge tub and all the interContinental amenities. The hotel scene has a very trendy, poolside music and bar which was perfect if you are looking for a party scene. however at the end of the day I just wanted to change into whatever clothes were still clean and chill out. The staff are attentive and make sure that your needs are met. There's a strong security presence but it's not intrusive or in your face, it feels more good than threatening. Lovely stay would stay again.

Nice location and surrounded by plenty of places to spend time at. Little old building but it s well taken care of. Breakfast is a little crowded with one operator at the egg-station. Smoking rooms are with a better view but the floor smells like a nightclub.

1- awesome atmosphere
2- huge Pharaonic lobby
3- a lot of restaurants with various cuisines and various fantastic views
4- large pool
5- clean and wide rooms
6- a big variety of halls for different purposes
7- directly attached to city starts mall

It's a five star hotel and that is what I'm giving it. Easy access to Cairo Citystars Mall. Breakfasts were good and staff extremely friendly and helpful. Pool area is child friendly and there are always life guards on duty.

I enjoyed time there with my family, room was spacious. The hotel has direct access to the citystars mall.

Intercontinental is one of my favorite hotels to stay in , upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the door man then the reception agent. Breakfast is cozy & the atmosphere is so nice.
Intercontinental is a true sample of excellent hospitality they are a 5/5 hotel

I stayed at a club room which includes a few extras, the service was excellent and the snacks were good, you also get alcoholic beverages from 7 to 9 pm. I always stay here when I am visiting cairo, City Stars mall is attached to the hotel. Miran were a great host at the club level
