Ibis Hotel Thamarin Review

Went here for meeting and I stayed one night well. Don t ask for much it s Hotel, right? I got contact named Aini, she is soo nice andfriendly (you need her to assist you for sure lol). The hospitality was amazing FOR ME personally. The foods was super good and the ambience was not bad though. If you guys had bad things here, well I deserve better I guess

The hotel is great and very comfortable. Facilities are also complete. Already so the wifi is fast batt. Satisfied and watched BTS all day

Just entered. Receiptionist is a slow service and only 1, entered the dirty clay toilet room like it's not cleaned. Spring bed is rich in kos2an level. There is no mat. Asked a long time ago. Hadehh Nyesel already ordered 3 nights. Be patient

Value for money. Since this Ibis hotel considered as a Senior among other ibis hotel in Jakarta, I was disappointed that a few things which really important in a hotel room were nowhere to be seen, namely a Refrigerator and Safe Deposit box.

However this Ibis hotel have a swimming pool. FYI only few Ibis in Jakarta that owns swimming pool.

If this hotel have a newer type of room access card which also function as an elevator access, I might give them 5 stars review

Strategic location, located in one of the most convenient areas in Jakarta, conditions and facilities are decent for the price of 500, but the towels are somewhat less clean

Check in is slow, reception is not friendly, room is not clean and there is no mat, toothbrush and toothpaste are only provided 1, the room is not soundproof, the sound of the next room is clearly heard into the room

The breakfast place is bad, the menu is less varied, the staff is slow to even ask for a dinner plate that is not in place.

The soapy place has a problem and even has to call 2 times so the house keeper arrives.

Not to mention, it turns out that the room's electric key that doesn't fit the size of the room card is given, and that means having to call the receptionist again to bring an electric key. Waiting for him must be long and call many times for his staff to come.

Very bad hotel

Strategic location, friendly prices. The price range is quite affordable from standard to Deluxe. There are many meeting rooms available. The restaurant serves a variety of delicious dishes. Close to Jalan Sabang which is famous for its variety of delicious snacks. The closest shopping center is Sarinah. Hotel guests can also visit the National Monument because the distance is very close.

This hotel is strategic. With many cafes and restaurants. Close to Sarinah. The service is good and the overall ibis I visit is better.

Location is great, staffs are great. Hotel is a bit old but cleanliness is up to standard. The reason for the 1 star is the towels. They all have mildew smell, something which I cannot tolerate. Giving you 1-star to bring your attention to this.

I often stay at ibis hotels, especially ibis sudirman. This is the first time staying at Ibis Tamarin.

The advantages:
Hotel, and good service.
In the room there are safety instructions during emergency response.
Reception services, security guards and other staff are also friendly.
The food menu is not bad but it doesn't fit the tongue, it's different from hotels in BSD Tangerang with the same class.
In the bathroom, there is a hairdryer.
The hotel location is strategic, lots of food is available from restaurants to street vendors.

Deficiency :
To turn on the bedroom light, the switch is next to the bed. It is difficult to find the position of the switch, because usually when the key is put in place, the lights automatically turn on.
Because it was the first time I stayed, I hit the bed after it was dark.

Then the shape of the room key is a bit old school, not a card that just sticks to the sensor. There are no instructions on how to use the room key, so you have to go back to the receptionist.

To take ablution water for prayer is a bit inconvenient because the water source is from the shower, so clothes are wet.

The toilet is a bit not good, the problem is that after you defecate, you have to press the drain button for a long time, if it's not like that, it's peeing and the potting isn't soggy .

How come there is no drinking water in the room? Ah, maybe the staff forgot it.

Perfect place in right position in the middle of crowd of Jalan Sabang

The room is okay, service is okay, unfortunately the food lacks variety ...

Incidentally there is a training event here .... for 3 days .... for break food, the lunch is ok mantab ... for bunket service is really ok .....

Staff are friendly, my room AC did not work they sent somebody to "fix" but it still didn't work. Never got room exchanged

The advantage is that there may be a swimming pool even though it's not that big. The hotel seems old school and needs rejuvenation in its interior ... very unfortunate, with prices that are even cheaper, I prefer the hotel next to the Hotel As ****. A narrow meeting room with a chipped table, broken, needs serious interior handling.
