Dobbies has plants, clothes and a nice little foodhall and butchers
Doors open at 10am but they don't open tills until 10.30am forcing me to ha e a coffee where the tills are open from 10am
Its a very nice place but was better when they had all the animals
Large centre buy super expensive. I would recommend only going here for outdoor plants as indoor ones are extortionate
It looks good but I only go in for Maidenhead aquatics
Not sure what it wants to be, seems to be more interested in becoming a department store. Slightly better selection of plants last time I went. Staff are helpful. Food has much need for improvement. Not dobbies usual quality garden centre.
Since Dobbies has recently taken over from Wyevale I have found plenty of old stock and Christmas stock at special reduced sale prices and Beverley has been busy replenishing shelves with new stock. I enjoyed the meals in their restaurant including turkey pie with chips and seasonal vegetables with a good cup of coffee.
Staff at the restaurant were very rude and not welcoming at all
Very nice shopping though restaurant/cafeteria offers a poor service
Afternoon tea was lovely, lots of choice of plants and homewares
Very poor, no coffee in restaurant/ cafe.
Very disorganised, lack of stock yet been open for over 3 months! Extremely Disappointed with the visit!
A very disappointing visit today. They have a sale at the moment with lovely items in the gift section unfortunately everything I was interested in was not priced they display an up to 30 or 50 %off sign but no was now ticket so your guess is as good as mine as to what price you pay at the till. When I asked a member of staff for help she used a tone of voice I found offensive and very off putting. Not impressed!!!!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed Dobbies today. We enjoyed our free coffee in the restaurant. Much better than the dobbies at Shepreth. There doing alterations there so the Christmas things were a bit sparse.
Plants, shrubs etc not very good quality cafe very ordinary, car valeting is good.
Not as good since it became a Dobbies. Low stock. Appears more expensive. Pet area has closed down. Soft play area near the restaurant was baking hot. Shame as it used to be nice for a visit.
I like the selection of house plants although some way too expensive
Another refurbishment going on ! Seems they are permanently refurbishing some part of the store or other - not conducive to a pleasant shop
My daughter and I visit the garden centre every week. We have always had lovely service from the staff. The range of products are good. They have children's toys, books, clothes, shoes, food, pets as well as the normal gardening things.
Gone downhill since being independent. The butcher is still brilliant though.
Sadly gone down hill since takeover
Second time we have been recently botch times problems with restaurant. Today delivery failure means no breakfast and possibly no dinners. Also advice asked and no-one available to give it. Items incorrectly labelled. Oh dear. How have the mighty fallen
Come here about twice per year and it is always a good day with excellent value and services
Not as good as before.Places like Costa are taking over.Lost its family appeal in my opinion
Not as good as it used to be but it is nice. Friendly, smiling and happy staff which really makes a difference.
Went there today with bunch of Ladies from W.I, young girl that served us was so lovely, very friendly and attentive and the afternoon tea was just perfect, very fresh and filling, Would highly recommend going.
One of those garden centres where you visit for an hour and don't see a single plant - I guess they were outside somewhere. What it is is a large store with lots of sub departments and stores within stores - gifts, food, pets, clothing, books etc. Confusingly some of these you pay for at the main tills and others have to be bought in the department - and its not always clear which applies. There is a Costa and another cafe within the store. Extra touches for Xmas include an ice rink and some temporary rides.
Went in coffee bar well organised for social distancing
Big garden centre with lots of bits to look at from clothing to hot tubs. Plants for sale look well kept but maybe a bit on the pricier side. A nice place to shop in general
A lot of cloths outlets now gone since Dobies took over. Still a lot of empty units. Food good and service great.
