Hoteles Santos Porta Fira Review

Clean spacious rooms. Asked for a double bed but got 2 single beds put together. Also at dinner you get charged for water. Food is alright. Good service. Nice staff. 5 lifts. Close to a shopping centre. 20-40 min away from the city centre, easy transport through taxi,bus or trains. There isnt a kettle in the room. And although the architecture is beautiful there is no good view from the window.

Luxury hotel. Good views of Barcelona that vary as you go through the corridors and as you go up. Entrance to the twisted and narrow Parquing. The very small seats. Expensive menu for the quantity and quality offered. Poke and ill-informed waiters of food allergies and intolerances offered at least on the Christmas menus. They almost sent me to the hospital (I was saved by prudence and distrust). When they realized (late) they came scared and with apologies (something is something). They offered me changes to the menu

Great perfect hotel for a few nights prrfette rooms, only problem: the bathroom opaque glass structure not very nice sound-proofed to see but not so great if you are in a group.

A fairly new hotel, the price of the standard room is good compared to other hotels. The hall of the hotel, I liked above all for the lighting that came through the windows. The correct service, and the restaurant a bit expensive for the quality of the dishes.

Staying for a week. Great staff (helpful and good English skills), excellent breakfast buffet. Decent sized rooms decorated in a modern style which can be a bit minimalist and cold. Two adjacent twin beds function as a king size for those of us that like the space! Location is about 2.5 km from Placa Espana. About a 7 euro cab ride to that hub for other more downtown activities. Next door to an IKEA and a block away from a Carrefour.

The room service menu was pretty thin but the service was quick. The Caesar salad, bread, and tagliatelle pasta with pesto was very satisfying.

This was at best a 2.5 star hotel ..... no where near the 4 star hotel they market themselves as. They have no pool, a 10 square meter room with 2 old treadmills they call a hotel gym, a small counter top with a few bar stools near the check in desk they call a hotel bar (it is part of the lobby), a single small restaurant that has very limited hours and very limited menu. It was clean and comfort was ok ..... but this is most certainly not a 4 or even a 3 star facility.

Wasn't pleased with this place. Rooms are spacious thats the only plus point, no AC in the elevators or on our floor when you get out of the elevator, washrooms have no privacy as the glass doors/walls are impractical. The reception was rude, first he can't find my reservation and then tells me sorry the room is only booked for 1 person so you have to pay extra person charge. When I showed him my confirmation email, he immediately retracts and claims his system is wrong. Didn't feel very welcomed.

The receptionists are very friendly and helpful. I stayed one night with my partner in a standard room and the girl who attended us changed us to a superior room on the 13th floor. Maybe it was because it was winter and there were not many people. Parking is very large and safe and it was included in the price of the room.

We asked for room service and the guy who attended me was super friendly. The food is spectacular, I'm not sure if they will change the menu, but I recommend the black spaghetti with cuttlefish and the hamburger. It is true that the food is a bit expensive, but I see it reasonable since it is a superior 4-star hotel. The food is worth trying.

Without a doubt, if I go to Barcelona again, I will stay here again.

A hotel worth recommending. Close to the bus / subway, although you have to reckon with a 25-30 min journey to the center of Barcelona. Absolutely great breakfasts and desserts with chocolate fountains, where you can take a bath with various types of biscuits, fruit, marshmallows and whatever else you want for a chocolate breakfast. Room service uneven depending on who the trags are. Parking quite large and extra paid. And the hotel building itself - delightful.

Very modern and clean hotel, rooms are good sized and have what you mainly need for your stay. Even if you have forgotten your toothbrush, they have it. Upper floors might not be great for someone with vertigo or dislike of heights. But I loved the view across the city at night! Some of the public areas were very dark, and I had some problems finding my way around.

The most famous hotel in Barcelona. Provides a pleasant and excellent breakfast at moderate prices (90,000 ~ 200,000 won). During the fairs and conferences held at the nearby Fira Congress, prices are suddenly very high (sometimes approaching 800,000 won per night), so make sure you book in advance.

The staff is all very, very helpful and speak English. The location is not really centrally located, but it is surrounded by some pretty parks and is very close to a mall and subway station. It was nice to be away from the crowds (and prices) of the big attractions but with easy access to transport.
