Hotel West End Review

Great food, fantastic nightly specials, reasonable priced beers, and Anna is such a babe!

Food /service/venue was great, only complaint was I wasn't a fan of the slaw, garden salad would be better and the mushroom gravy was extremely runny but tasty none the less.

Friendly staff, quick service great set up for watching footy on the big.

Not a bad hotel. Only thing I didn't like is there is a smoking area out the front but I still got hit with the smoke from that area:(

Best beer in West End. Clean pipes for the beer lines. And the food. Great value for the price. Would recommend to anyone. Definitely going back

My husband and I enjoyed our delicious meals on Monday night. The chicken Parma was as good as it gets and the brushetta and fried onion rings and Brie were exceptional. The freshness and presentation of the meals was excellent. Congratulations to the staff for a job well done.

Really friendly staff who invite my dog to come and sit on the deck and serve him water. Staff also don t mind getting creative and customise cocktails and seem to enjoy making them pretty just for fun, allowing extra garnishes etc at request.
Maybe my favourite pub...Second only to the possibility I could find a better one but haven t yet.

Private function room is decently sized, they try to make the most of the space.

These guys forgot some of our order then gave us attitude when we asked for the stuff we ordered. Plus the toilets half way up the road down a back alley.

The bottlo is the best. What a brilliant range of beers including smaller Australian Breweries.

You went from the great Melbourne Pub with good bands, decent prices and real beer and cider on tap. LOVED the weekend special share board that you had for $20 it was awesome. Then you went to a Pineapple displaying restaurant that was overpriced and not comfortable and lacked atmosphere. You then changed it up again a little with no chairs in the smoking area, but decent lunch time meals. Then another change were now you don't have any cider on tap. At first I believed it to be that you may have run out or had issues with cider but after trying for the last month to get one on Sunday finding out you don't do cider on tap anymore my party of 7 left and went to the Boundary. See ya...

Great food and great service. We had our office Christmas Dinner here and everything went well without a hitch. The food was served in good time. I did like the entrees and the fish better than the steak but that's just my preference. Thanks for a great night.

Fantastic meals, great value for money and a family friendly atmosphere in the bistro

Always a great place to go for a pint. Very kind servers who are always happy for a small chat. Clean bathrooms and floors. The bar was clean and organised. Good choice of popular beer and spirits. Although one bartender seemed a little stressed, she handled it well. The security was extremely nice and ensured I was getting home safely. I would highly recommend people to have dinner and a drink here.

Since new owners took over the quality has decreased significantly. $15 for a burger and does not include chips ($6 extra).

The lighting is dim and danky inside, sticky plastic tablecloths. The staff are very unhelpful and non-communicative.

We order a coke and not exaggerating, it was filled with ice to the top if glass before filling with coke..

The staff here go out of their way to be friendly and attentive. We had a couple of the lunch specials and they were incredible value and utterly delicious. I don't think I'll go back to the Boundary now that I know this place is this good!!

Sexy place in West End of Brisbane with equally great quality food

Went out for a birthday dinner and was disgusted with the meal.. paid good $ for a steak dinner and the piece of steak was smaller than the gravy pot that came with it. I have pics to confirm. What there was of the steak was overcooked and burnt.

My favourite watering hole in West End. Nice chilled out atmosphere and excellent drink specials and happy hour. We have always found the staff friendly & helpful. Good selection of beers & the cocktails are great & reasonably priced. Lots of big screens if you like watching the sport. Would definitely recommend for a few drinks.

High quality food. Great chef. Has alot of seating area and good spot to watch the game. Fully serviced bar.

Friday night at about 9:00 when we arrived. Clean, sports screens on, drinks cold and service was good.Limited cocktails on the menu but the ones we ordered were on point.

Booked a large table for Sunday lunch, staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing. The meals are yummy and excellent value for money. Definitely my new favourite hotel. Well done!

My favorite pub in the whole Brisbane. Great reliable and economical meals every time we come here.

Late lunch before a medical appointment at a nearby hospital. Friendly greeting on arrival, efficiently shown to a table which was sanitised before we sat down. The Mediterranean lamb salad was superb- fresh with plentiful pulled lamb and a zesty dressing. My husband's steak sandwich was well presented and tasty.

The service was great, but maybe because it was pretty empty when we went in. It has a very sterile sports bar atmosphere inside. Outside is quite nice for people watching.
Nothing terrible about it, just nothing really great either.
However I did look at the specials and they seemed really good value for money

New revamp has lost some of the old charm of the place. The menu is still pretty good though

Attended the Gin night last night and was so impressed with every aspect. The food was amazing the staff were attentive and the gin was so good.
