Hotel SchreiberHof Review

A great hotel with friendly and generously sized rooms.
Had the room No.15 which was equipped with a "handicapped accessible" bathroom. This even had a walk-in shower. The sink was wheelchair-accessible and on the toilet were right and left Halte handles attached. The left could even be folded up to save space .Toll was also the small fridge.Denn I need daily a drug which must be kept refrigerated.
The double bed was almost waist high, mega and super comfortable.

Breakfast is not cheap but it leaves hardly a wish.
There are all sorts of mini rolls, toast, baguette, pretzel, mini croissant, crispbread ...
Scrambled eggs, crispy bacon strips to small sausages.
Various honey, jams, Nutella.
Cereal, grain spot, nuts, sunflower seeds, flax seeds ...
Fruit salad, yogurt with fruit or nature.
Tasty sausage and ham plates and cheese platter, mozarella with tomatoes, cucumber slices, paprika slices and much more!
The staff is very friendly and helpful. No matter how many times we asked something or needed something like. more hangers (were 3 adults) or a Zusatzdecke.Es was always helpful immediately friendly.
Therefore, we go once again a real praise to the staff.
Here we felt very well and will definitely come back again.

We celebrated our 50th birthday with our families. It was the right decision to take this hotel. From the accommodations to the finest service. It made you feel at home. In the name of my whole family, all of you have been a great team, from management to apprentice. Keep it up.

Everything is okay. Unfortunately the beds are too soft for us. The breakfast is very versatile. The food in the restaurant is also delicious. All staff so far very friendly.

Quiet, renovated hotel with modern rooms and a fantastic new wellness area (not described on the homepage). Very friendly service, breakfast was very good with a very large selection. The only drawback: The coffee for breakfast is horrible.

A restaurant, with probably the poorest sort of bar imaginable. There is not even a sherry!

Use of meeting rooms. Top organized. Very nice, attentive and friendly staff. Great kitchen 10 Recommended.

There's no air conditioning, way too hot in the room especially for sleeping (even with both windows opened). Had to buy a mini fan. Apart from that the hotel/room is very clean and quiet. Nice restaurants within walking distance and easy to use public transport to a major shopping centre and to the city.

Both the cleanliness and the staff left nothing to be desired. Breakfast was excellent.
We used the wellness area and really enjoyed the time there. The small fitness "center" was always sufficient for us with the available cardio machines.
Should we be drawn to Munich again, we would be happy to come back to the Hotel Schreiberhof. We felt good.

Well maintained hotel and friendly staff. The breakfast is extensive and offers in my view for everyone a good selection. The room (219) is without street noise and clean. The bed is soft, the bathroom is clean and equipped with a large shower. To recommend!

Very cute hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Although the road it is on gets a little loud around 5am and there is no air conditioning in the rooms, I would stay here again.

Restaurant only:
We celebrated our girls' Christmas party this year in the Schreiberhof. The guest room is cozy and nicely arranged. The table decoration was nice. We received a friendly welcome, our coats were taken off and we were served quickly. The menu of the restaurant is clear, but there is something for all tastes. The game dishes in particular were very appealing. The prices are a bit higher, but quite appropriate for this quality and quantity. All eight women liked it, the venison goulash was a dream!

The room was a bit cold and for a Nordic country it seemed strange to me. Interesting breakfast.

Even just before the kitchen closes still got a delicious dessert as bedtime. Homemade sorbets mango passion fruit and plum - a treat.
In addition, despite the late evening attentive and good-humored staff.
Rooms clean and functional and although facing the street, quiet.
Gym and sauna for workout. Children feel comfortable.
Recommended, because of the short distances to the center of Munich

Can only recommend the hotel. The thermal baths are 25 minutes from the hotel. Staff very friendly, clean rooms great breakfast buffet.

Nice hotel friendly people liked the breakfast very much

Very good value for money. Rooms are bright and cozy. Free parking is right in front of the hotel entrance. If the parking lot is full, the underground parking is available for about 10 EURO. Alternatively you can easily find public parking without a fee nearby. At breakfast I did not miss anything. In the wellness area are 3 saunas and 2 small relaxation rooms. I can highly recommend the restaurant. The quality of the food was excellent. The staff was very friendly everywhere.

Super hotel !!
Both the rooms and the SPA area are well-kept.
The hotel is 15 km from Munich. In front of the hotel there are buses every 10 minutes, so you can leave your car without any problems.
The staff is very friendly and happy to respond to the wishes of the guests.
The breakfast buffet was more than adequate. There was everything the heart could desire. From sweet to hearty. The dinner, which you can enjoy in the beer garden, was also very tasty! Here again a huge compliment to the chef.
We would love to come back!

Very good hotel. Nice staff, very clean and mega good beds. We were not here for the first time and certainly not the last time. The price / performance ratio is right. The breakfast offers everything you need to start the day. Good connection to Munich city center. 5 minutes to PR (free) and then with the S-Bahn about 30 minutes to Marienplatz. We recommend!

Stayed overnight on an LH voucher due to delayed arrival into Munich. Hope I never have to stay again. Check in was fine. Room was terrible; clean but have not had to suffer that nauseating a smell of cigarette smoke for a long time. Slept with balcony door open. Bar staff seriously impolite (particularly compared to the bar guests, who were very polite)

Very nice hotel, very friendly, the food and the care was appropriate unfortunately the bathroom was not superficially cleaned and quite dusty but only in the bathroom.

We celebrated a family celebration with 40 people in the Schreiberhof. It was perfect all round. Starting with the very friendly support and advice from Mr. Garavito-Suarez in advance and great flexibility, since we had to move twice. Everything was made possible. We had the opportunity to eat flexibly inside or outside. Very nice green outdoor area with large trees and a Salettl as a roof. The food was excellent! The service was also impeccable. Everything was wonderful all around and this will definitely be our favorite spot for family celebrations!

We arrived at noon this afternoon and ate schnitzel and Tafelspitz. Both dishes were incredibly delicious and very well presented. A young lady served us, which was very friendly and accommodating. If we drive once again through Aschheim, we will very much like to schedule a stop here. We like to give 5 stars!

We stayed there for 5 nights at the beginning of September. We became aware of the great hotel through Groupon, which we booked for. On arrival we received a very warm welcome from the hotel manager. After the current corona regulations of the house and the hygiene concept were explained to us, we were offered to visit the excellent wellness area of the house. We spontaneously decided on the offered use. It was wonderful. The sauna area is very tastefully designed and we enjoyed the great ambience for several hours.
We were accommodated in a clean business room of sufficient size. The sleeping comfort was very good and we felt very comfortable.

Particularly noteworthy is the good kitchen, the cleanliness and the very nice staff of the whole house.
Due to the corona, the breakfast buffet was unfortunately a bit limited and the sausage and cheese selection was a bit monotonous. That could be improved.

The location in Aschheim is great. The English Garden in Munich can be easily reached by bike in 35 minutes. In front of the hotel is the bus stop, from which you can reach Munich city center with 1x change to the subway in 35 minutes.

Finally, thank you again for the nice hospitality and greetings to the whole team. We would love to come back.

Great place to stay. 20 minutes away from the airport. Great restaurant, service can be improved. However the friendliness of the reception staff made it up. Great decoration and very quiet. Recommendations.

The hotel is in good condition. Our room was huge. Unfortunately there was no minibar or the corresponding compartment without a fridge. But everything was great. There were a few minor things that would be easy to solve such as black luggage marks on the wall, fallen letters on the elevator or a missing info folder with the usual information such as check out, breakfast times, etc. in the room. An electric kettle in the room would have been nice. That's why I tend to be four stars. However, there were just a few things that were better than the average. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Not too formal, but very warm. We had booked a three-course menu. Extremely tasty, the chef can really do something. The breakfast buffet is tidy. We found the wellness area with sauna, steam bath and Brechelbad nice. Everything is pretty new. No alibi sauna, but really nice big and bright. The Japanese style rest room is probably lined with pine wood. It smells extremely pleasant. Water and apples are available for free. You can park in front of the house or in a side street, if necessary also in the surcharge parking garage. Although the hotel is not centrally located in Munich, you can quickly go anywhere, even with the public. The shopping center Riem-Arkaden is only a few minutes by car. All of this outweighs the small "negligence" fully. The price-performance ratio is exemplary. We are very often in Munich and will certainly book whenever possible again in the Schreiberhof. We were very happy.

Decent and good hotel with nice rooms - offers many possibilities such as wellness, conference, birthday parties, or other events or just a simple restaurant visit. :)

The only drawback are the few free parking spaces in the hotel / next to the underground parking garage.
However, there are some parking spaces in the side streets.

Very, very, very great hotel! The rooms are modern and completely adequate. The wellness area is a dream. 2 saunas and a steam sauna. The staff is very nice. Special thanks go to Nina, Ante, the restaurant manager and Alfred! You make the hotel something special!
There is a bus stop directly opposite the hotel, and it takes 40 minutes to get to Munich City by bus or train.
There is also a very tasty restaurant in the immediate vicinity. But the food in the hotel was also very tasty. The breakfast left nothing to be desired!
The next time we visit Munich, we'll check in with you again! Many thanks for everything!

Scratchy sheets (outdated) were reported but not greatly improved and staff conflicts in the restaurant (one more important than the other) we would have liked long drinks and other food ordered if the atmosphere would have been consistent.
We will not be back!

A great hotel! We booked it via ByHours to snoop on before driving home again! Friendly staff, very clean and quiet rooms, easy parking and very well-kept atmosphere, you do not need more! All in all a great hotel, gladly again!

Quite a good hotel, the restaurant is very good. The food here deserves an 85% rating. The service is good and friendly.

The breakfast is very good and has a large variety. Here I rate it with 95%

Unfortunately the rooms are a bit small with a bathtub and the bathroom is also a bit small. The bathtub is installed under a sloping roof and you also have to be careful where you walk without bumping your head. The architecture of the rooms could be improved. The entire area of the hotel is upscale and very well maintained.

The wellness area is good and very well maintained. Here you can really relax and unwind. The fitness area is also well equipped and leaves nothing to be desired.

All in all, I was very satisfied and would give an overall rating of 90% for the food and 80% for the room. I can recommend the Schreiberhof .....
