It s a great opportunity for people to visit where George Washington lived, a true learning experience. If you are a family with kids you should definitely take them for a visit here. They can learn more about their nation where they also get a opportunity to run around freely.
Definitely something to see. Inside the house was very crowded....but other than that, a great trip.

It's easy to spend several hours just walking the grounds. The house and other buildings are the most notable features, but don't overlook the gardens. Washington was an avid gardener, and he took excellent care of his plants, a tradition that has been carried on by those who oversee the estate.
Beautiful estate full of history. Wear comfortable walking shoes and plan to spend an entire day exploring the grounds.

Wonderful!!!! We all enjoyed our visit so much. The Spy 711 game was a huge hit with my oldest (7), but both adults really enjoyed it too!! I highly recommend downloading the app and playing along!
When a 7 yeat old and 4 year old walk out at the end of the day saying they had so much fun and can't wait to come back, you know the day was a success!
