They have new staff now their customer service skills aren't so good. And the part I need for my car never got put on and seems like the skinny old guy with glasses didn't care and wasn't concerned because I didn't buy my tires from their so he was uninterested in my service visit it not fair I have to take off work again because of his carelessness.
Wow! Another great buying experience at Heyward Allen GMC with Michael Nelms. This is the second vehicle I have purchased thru Michael and when the time comes to buy another one, my first stop will be at Heyward Allen and Michael Nelms. No high pressure sales tactics just an interest in finding the exact vehicle I wanted. All the staff were professional and courteous with special shoutouts to Gary and Sean.
I have been dealing with Heyward Allen now for a long time. Derek, my service writer took the time to make sure everything was ready to go. Derek even delivered my truck to me after the service was completed (Great Customer Service Move). I have dealt with dealerships for a long time now and was even in the business for 40 + years and Heyward Allen along with Derek are the best! Derek should get 6 stars instead of 5!

The service staff was great and quick but they failed to order a part for my car (dashboard cover is cracked) even though I called ahead of time to make sure they Knew it needed to be ordered. THEN they told me if I didn t get it replaced within 50,000 miles it wouldn t be covered by warranty even though they had failed to order it. I live an hour away and it is not convenient for me to just run over to get a minor part installed. Not impressed with this part of the service.
Heyward Allen always goes above and beyond to make sure that everything is taken care of with the best customer service in the process of doing so!

I was working in Athens and decided to stop by on my lunch break. A 2016 Yukon XL caught my eye. I thought : It's no way I could afford a vehicle like that. Well....I was wrong !!!! Worst experience I ever had at a dealership. No communication with the customer which is me about my vehicle. Then to top it all off they tried to overcharge me. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Everyone there, not just those who were helping us, made us feel right at home. It was along process, we really made Whitney work, with test driving different vehicles and asking a lot of questions. But she was right there, to make use feel comfortable and answer all of those questions. Not, just Whitney but everyone in finance department that was there to help us answer questions, and they explained everything in detail, to make us feel at ease. They didn't pressure us into anything, and even gave us time to speak privately about our decision. I will be back when its time to get a new vehicle, and will recommend everyone to visit Heyward Allen Motor Company.

The service department fit me in where I dropped off my truck for an oil change and tires rotation for 1 of the complimentary scheduled maintenance. My vehicle was done around noon and to my surprise it was cleaned inside and out. Very happy and satisfied with their service, such a great group of folks.

My summary consists of how I viewed Mr. White, better known as KC's performance.
The professional skills that I noted was so pleasing to see a young man possess all of the skills that I noted above. KC represents Heyward Allen with the utmost respect. I can't believe the only reason that I came to your dealership was to get my 2010 CTS Cadillac Wagon rear tail light fixed that I purchased from you and ended up coming home with my 2019 XT5 Luxury FWD SUV. I also noted KC's managers were absolutely awesome in closing the sale.

Heyward Allen and Larry Paul have provided the best service anyone could ask for in the past years I have dealt with them. I'm on my fourth GMC Sierra that I purchased through Larry Paul. After I purchased my first GMC Sierra Larry Paul knew from dealing with me what I was looking for when I came in every time to trade my GMC Sierra truck. On my last trade 2020 model Larry Paul search till he found what I was wanting and then worked with management at Heyward Allen to get the the deal I was looking for. Absolutely the best car buying experience I've ever had. The whole staff was friendly. It was one of the quickest processes you could imagine. Absolutely recommend and will use if I ever need another vehicle.
Just an update, I removed a star. It turns out that on their multi point inspection they told me the battery was good...and then it died later that week. Of the 660 CCA it generated it was below 200 amps. Nice, I wonder what else they told me not to worry about that will pop up next? I was told, these multi point inspections are often faked...I guess it's true.
I went to replace some key fobs on an 2011 Terrain. The service advisor was very helpful but it took about 1:30 to program two fobs. I do realize they did a multi-point inspection which I appreciate, but I was told an hour and had a tight schedule that day. Anyway, they did sell me one key that they had in stock and programmed a third party key for me. They could not cut the key blades because they had no laser but they did switch out the two old key blades for me which saved me a trip to the locksmith. All in all they did a very good job for less than I thought it would cost.
Terrible service! We made an appointment for a recall, not our fault. Sat in waiting room for 1h and 45min. Then they said it would be awhile go get lunch. If you make an appointment, it marks me angry to waste a whole rainy Saturday. I will definitely not ever buy a new car from them!!!!
