Perfect place to warm up with a hot chocolate, with a large variety of chocolate spoons to enjoy with it. Great selection of chocolates as well if you need a present for someone with a sweet tooth.

This has almost become our second home. Apart from the vast amount of chocolate choices you have to mix with your hot milk, there is also a very good selection of food and cakes (try the chocolate fudge, it's mouth watering). The staff are amazing and really friendly, which makes the place even better.

the only attention you get is to write your details in a notebook where everyone can see your name and telephone number ....

GENIUS if you like chocolate (big tip: do not eat too much in advance). A small play corner for children would be a nice addition.

Staff is not really customer friendly. Not what I am used to from other CHCO locations. When my drink fell to the floor they did help with cleaning up but initially I was not offered a new drink. After my complaint about this on departure, fortunately we both got a take away drink as a service so well resolved. Too bad I had to say something about it first of course ..

Beautiful products, prepared with attention. You can see and taste it. Two gentlemen in the ministry were also very sympathetic and knowledgeable. Definitely recommended for a cup of coffee / chocolate with a piece of cake

Best variety of coffee and hot chocolate you can choose

After visiting a few times, here is my impression: popular meeting place for young people, great atmosphere, friendly personnel and of course amazing selection of chocolates. You can order salads or sandwiches as lunch and spoil yourself with a cake and chocolate. Watch out your weight, though.

Nice place to have a coffee with a treat after or during a day of shopping! Unfortunately when I went to the toilet at the end of my visit it was too nasty for words, really a damper! Looked like it had not been cleaned all day, and that on a busy shopping Sunday! Unfortunately!

Five stars on previous visits, however the removal of self service for chocolate blocks sold by weight, and substitution with pretty packaging of little product weight has made it very expensive indeed. Chocolate is superb, but cannot justify buying at these prices.

Good place with good coffee. Not all cakes are equally good, but overall nice and high quality. Also pleasant interior.

Chocolate shop in the central area quite good. Table service is not carried out but in return you will leave after ordering a cappuccino, which is accompanied along with a really tasty and balanced mini truffle . Unfortunately, even here I have not tasted a brownie to my liking, in my opinion too sweet and the second teaspoon cloying. I have not tasted the other cakes and delicacies yet, but I will not fail to do so. In general, I recommend it!

One of the best hot chocolates I've ever had. I visited during the week and it was calm. very pleasant environment that invites guests to enjoy the view while sipping a hot drink and took the opportunity to take a break. Must visit in Haarlem!

Delicious chocospoon milk chocolate macaroon and a sandwich. Highly recommended to eat or drink something here. Staff is very friendly and they have nice chocolate presents.

We came in and had a group table to sit that was not nice for a private conversation and then there was little place and the service was not at the table you had to be ordered at the bar and that was not easy because there is a whole row was when we wanted a high tea which was not possible when we were only gone bad experience so

Nice place to warm up in colder weather. The price are fine and the drinks hot. They frequently switch around their menu, so you can be sure to always find something new. If you really liked a certain taste or want to give an original gift to someone, this place has what you want. You can take just one type with you or a gift box of 3 types. Very nice.

Me and my partner had a lovely coffee. The plain bread I had, however, was from the day before. The manager claimed the bread was freshly baked, though the outer side of the bread was crude and not crispy what so ever. I felt disappointed to see such little conciliation and friendliness from the manager as I was (as I clearly managed to utter) unquestionably dissatisfied with the product. I have had my fair share of freshly baked bread, and this was definitely not so. I am very disappointed to see such lousy customer care and will make sure to not return to the chocolate company cafe in the future. I reckon the chocolate department would be more satisfactory, but don't come here to expect a wholesome lunch.
