Recently had the opportunity to be part of Brew Tours an introduction into the craft brewing industry around Toronto. Henderson Brewing Company a Craft, or microbreweries offer much more than the huge multinational brewers can. The diversity in their beers, by flavour, or aroma, some golden coloured beers , some black and dark rich in coffee or caramel taste. Visiting the brewery allows patrons to sample and enjoy the brews offered. The diversity in beers being produced are attracting new converts to enjoying beer.
Restrictions by the two main distribution channels within Ontario make it next to impossible to broaden their market but providing tours bring (new) potential consumers showing them the uniqueness and distinctiveness of their brews. Some of the brews are seasonal and small run batches only available from the Henderson Brewing Company. The brewery has a tap room and off street parking

April 2018 - stop by Henderson picked up one of their latest. Upper Canada. Good flavour, not to "punchy" smooth on the pallet.

With a Scottish name its immediately a 5 Stars... no but really the beers are always fresh and tasty. be kind to your neighbors guys and figure out the parking :)

I was here recently for a brewery tour, which I absolutely loved. The brewery is quaint with a trendy edge. The tour was very interesting and the guide, who is also the brewery's graphic designer, was so friendly. He made sure he explained everything in great detail. The beer itself is delicious with a great selection.

Really wanted to like this place, ambiance is nice but service and drinks were just not there for me :(

Henderson Brewery is at that stage where it's almost still a secret. It's tucked away in a warehouse like setting, pretty much right next to the railway line that runs through this part of the city. Also a big plus is that it happens to be located right next to the West Toronto Railpath, which means you can bicycle down for a pint of you're in the area.

Since they're still in their start-up phase I'll reserve a full review to a later date but for now I can say that the couple of beers that they do have brewed currently are delicious. Of special mention is their Radler which is my favorite of all the local Radlers that I've tasted.

There isn't much available in terms of food so if you're looking for lunch or dinner this is not the place. I'm hoping this changes at some point.

The atmosphere is open-warehouse and stool based, with Retro Deco and and a pinball machine. Overall a great place to walk to on a summer afternoon.

I'm reviewing this as a 3 for the great beers and decent atmosphere and will update once they get the operation fully functioning.

Headed over to Henderson's after checking out the just opened MOCA. Wow, what a great discovery!! A great vibe all around drinking delicious beer in a large open space full of thirsty people. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable, they took the time to help my GF find the beer she would enjoy. I had the very dark porter; it was one of the best I've ever had! So many flavours and deceptively smooth (its 10% ABV!). Will definitely make this a regular stop when in the neighbourhood.

I love finding places where we don't have to worry about leaving the pooch at home or in the car. Henderson's is a perfect, local brewery where you can sip on suds with you furry friend keeping you company.
Great beers, friendly staff, cool vibe. You can see and enjoy the very beers your drinking being brewed as the tap room is just roped off from the brewing equipment.
There is no kitchen, but snacks such as pepperoni, cheese, chips and dip are available to order, and they'll occasionally have pop-up food vendors providing sustainance.
If you find a beer you like you can buy a few cans/bottles before heading home!

Great selection of beers and great place to visit. I prefer more full-bodied beers but the ones here are still very good.

This place didn't disappoint. Great selections for a flight atleast 10. Nice brewery to visit in this area.

Great beers (Henderson s Best is my fave) and such a fun space.

There s board games and different types of food on a regular bases.

They even have a board in the front with different activities happening throughout the month which we will definitely come back for!

Keep it up Henderson!!

Cool brew pub serving local beers. Popular with cyclists. Can bring your dog. Occasionally food trucks are here for televised sports events.

My favorite Toronto brewery. Always excited to see what interesting beers they've brewed up as a part of their ides program.

Dogs are allowed! Good beer, free popcorn. What else could you want?

I would apply to work at Google just to enable the feature for negative ratings - the customer service here was just that appalling. We purchased tall cans and sat down at the patio, not realizing there were covid rules against doing that. We even signed in at the front with our name, and no one said a thing. The blonde employee then came by and started reaming us out for sitting there with the beer we purchased from them. Totally understand if she told us like normal humans, but she was incredibly rude. Some people just aren't supposed to work in customer service. Learn some basic decency, especially in this day and age maam.

Went there because of Oysters event happened and was very surprised. Guys did cool job decorating room to Halloween!
I tried "Ladder to the Moon", a beer with rosemary in it - fantastic. My kid and wife tried Root beer - so tasty! We will back for these stuff at least :-)

I work in customer service, and specifically at a restaurant that sells Henderson products. Simply delicious, and a wide variety of options.

Today I wanted to order a birthday gift for a friend online. I called in to ask the best way of putting it all together, deliver times, birthday notes, the works. I spoke with Becky and Riley on two separate occasions, and these ladies nailed it. Customer service and knowledge was off the charts. I even received a follow up call from Riley to correct something about the order, which honestly tied the whole experience with a damn bow. Really happy for my friend to not only receive a great gift, but to also support an amazing local company. Great work Becky and Riley, can't wait to make another other in the future!

Best brewery in Toronto. UPA the No.1 beer brewed in TO.

Such good beer, and I feel like they're willing to experiment a bit with their brews. Limited food on site so we ordered in a pizza and sat and drank beer. Lovely evening out.

Do you love great beer and a fun environment? Then this is the place for you! Exceptional beers on tap, wonderful service and a beautiful interior with twinkle lights. Sometimes you can even see them brewing and they are always happy to answer questions! Great first date location!

If you're on the trail for a bike ride down Toronto definitely stop in at Herderson Brewery. Delicious selection of beers and I suggest getting the flights to get an all around experience. Great customer service as well. 5 STARSS!!!!

Incredibly disappointing how rude the staff is, please train your employees on how to be polite and decent human beings.

Friendly atmosphere. Bright space in which to sample their beer. Easy drinking, flavourful beer. Free popcorn, too.

This place is great! Lots of space to sit, super bright. The bottle shop is open late and on holidays so if you miss the beer store or LCBO and need a couple of coldies this place is the best! Also great if you have a dog, take them on a walk up the rail path and stop over here to grab a crisp cold drink!

Really good beers, and a great vibe to hangout. Very dog friendly! Sometimes have cool food pop ups and other events. Hope someday they can have some more patio space outside.

I love visiting this place! The layout is great, the people are awesome, and the beer is incredible. My go to of their brews is BEST, and it truly lives up to the name.

Awesome neighborhood brewery. Great beer, free popcorn, kind staff. It's also one of the only bars I know of where I can bring my dog along. It's great to be able to go out for drinks without leaving my scruffy boy at home.

It's a bit industrial and spare but has a few antique objects on the walls to warm it up. The beer is excellent. You can walk away with a few bottles too. They seem to be doing a lot of special events in the evenings so trying to become a meeting place in this rapidly developing neighborhood.

Quality beer at standard prices for a craft brewery. The place is very lively with activities happening weekly. Also liked that it was very family and pet-friendly.

Love this brewery! There is a great selection of beer and the staff are always super helpful and nice. The seasonal rotation of unique beers makes this brewery, in my opinion, one to be visited all year round so that you can experience all that Henderson's has to offer!

We stopped in for a quick round. Cool atmosphere and a great place to hang. Bar staff was very friendly. The free popcorn was a nice touch.

Great brewery and they always have really fun events. And the beer is top notch.

Decent craftbeer, some of their one offs are spectacular. The cores they brew are good but their brewery and tasting room is epic. Best place I can think of to chill out, play games, bring your dog and have a great bunch of hours.

Love the beer, atmosphere and service here!! Did my engagement photos here because We love this brewery so much. The owners had no problems with us taking photos, and even gave us free drinks on the house!! They also have amazing guest food vendors, especially in the summer, and are dog friendly! Def one of my favourite breweries!!

Specify the bottle shop is open till 11 not the bar. Lame.

Beer is great at a good price ! A lot of fun events like food trucks and author talks ! Only problem is loud when brewery is running

Awesome as usual. This is our favorite brewery in Toronto. Also it's 7 min walking from our home :) Free popcorn and board games complement the good beer!

SO GOOD! Dog friendly. One of the best west end breweries. Cool industrial neighbourhood. The west end is now the hot spot for breweries and Henderson is a large reason why!

Was in DIRE need of refreshment at the end of a hot and busy day. Walking into Henderson's I was immediately struck by the wonderful aesthetic, the welcoming smiles from staff and Uber efficient service. In no time I was seated with a fabulous, cool Amber pint. A perfect experience! THANKYOU xo
