Hangar 24 Craft Brewery Review

Really fun tasting room right off of an old runway in Redlands. This is a not-so-hidden gem in town where you can get a beer tasting and watch the sun set. I'm a fan of the orange wheat.

I m a huge fan of this beer. Really fits well with the history of the Citrus town Redlands. Recommend that you try some if in the area.

A great place to feel at home and make friends. Music is usually good and heaters are nice at night. Could use some drapes on the patio to block the wind and some better seating. But love that you can stop by before a date dressed to the 9s or stop by on your pajamas and nobody cares. Bring some food and/or a game because time can really fly by and you might need to stay entertained.

Wonderful and friendly staff they are receptive to your needs! Whether it be a stout or PA the staff knows their brews. The scenery and landscape is truly majestic, being among the foothills gives this establishment a very laidback atmosphere. If only I lived closer this would be a regular afterwork hangout! I highly recommend the Amarillo or the Orange Wedge. Also, be sure to use a Groupon before you come, Hangar 24 takes special care in handling those users!

Great brewery and band was great. Strange Brew was a great mix of live music.

Awesome place. They have local bands playing there often and have limited edition brews right next to the Hangar.

Great place.....and now they serve food to as well. Awesome just to do a mtb ride at SART and end up here.

They make my favorite beer. Love the place. Very tiny seating is very limited. That's the only downfall to this place. They don't seem food and they rarely have a food truck. So you can being your own food though.

I came for the beer and stayed for the people. Such a lovely place.
No wonder it's one of the top 10 breweries of Southern California.
I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Plenty of parking spots, great folks to meet, very peaceful area, amazing drinks... the list goes on. 100% good vibes.

Customer service was great and for my first time it was very good highly recommend especially if you wanna go in a small group

love love love this spot, here about 2 times a month. Usual Sunday's, great selection of craft beer, $1 homemade rootbeer for the non drinker or kids (parents-kids don't belong at a brewery, find a sitter) More than welcomed to bring your own food, or have pizza delivered. Alt Beer is my favorite, love 805 or brown beers, gotta try it. Food trucks on occasion.

Came here with the Groupon deal. They are out of growlers. They said it could be a couple weeks before they get a shipment and they took my name and number down to give me a call when they receive them. I dont expect them to call, and its inconvenient to have to drive back just to pick it up. Out of the 10+ beers they have on tap the groupon deal only allows you to chose from 4 which was a big downer. Will update review if i receive the growler.

Keep your receipts!! I only use my debit card and this is the second time they add extra charges! They need to fire someone quick. Bring cash only

Be aware that even if you have three growlers to fill, if you're not there a solid 15 minutes BEFORE scheduled closing, you're not going to get served. Do NOT post a ten pm closing time when you close at 9:45.

What can I say, another excellent Southern California brewery with an awesome tasting room! Nice patio, excellent staff, and superb brews!

This brewery has some amazing beers which are pretty widely distributed. I was excited to come here and try them at their source. Very small location with no food truck nor band when we visited. Not enough seating for the crowd that they had. Also, I didn't find any innovative beer that was different from what I can find packaged that appealed to me. They were out of the barrel-aged beer that my wife wanted to try, so she ended up with an imperial stout which was so-so. People are nice, and it is a good place to visit if you are in the area. The picnic style seating gave you a chance to get to know your neighbors.

I checked this place out last night and was pleasantly surprised, not normally a Beer Drinker but had a good selection, music was excellent, place was jumping, well-behaved crowd, would recommend.

Had a great time. There was an event held by Active Ride Apparel, lots of people, lots of beers, skate boarders, and live music.

Cool place. Not a big place. You walk into an old hanger and you can see huge brewing tanks in the back. You can also hear glass bottles clinging together in the back on the bottling line. There is some outdoor seating that overlooks the airport and other hangers that are part of the airport.

The best local brewery. Great place to hang with some friends, catch the game, or try the seasonal brews. This year's award winning German Hefeweizen was amazing.

Was able to check this out during AirFest on 5.14.2016. This place is awesome, if you're in the area, check them out. My favorite is the Orange Wheat, but all of their beers are fantastic. I would rate it as 6 stars, but Google will only let me go to 5....Yes check this place out or at least buy a six pack of Hangar 24 and try it for yourself.

The standard beers on tap were good, but their specialty drafts were quite a bit better. I went in not being a fan of the brewery, but left thinking that I didn't give them enough of a chance.

The staff was a bit hit-or-miss. Some of the bartenders were amazingly friendly, while others were just rude.

The Alt is tasty and the views of the mountains can't be beat!

LOVE THIS PLACE! I know there are places closer to where with cheaper beer but I love coming here and seeing the planes take off and land. The sunset is quite a sight as well. They very often have a very poppin' band!

Such a great atmosphere, and really great beer! After having the bottles stuff for a few years, making the trip to the brewery was well worth it. There was a lot of beers on tap and if they didn't have something you wanted on tap they had some different stuff in bottles. If you bring a lunch with you, you can have a pretty nice picnic on the patio and enjoy a few beers!

Wish there was food, but other then that....Bazinga! This place is AWESOME! GREAT BEER!

Great local vibe that is totally unique. Beers are awesome and they have root beer for those who don't drink. Staff was fantastic, service is fast. Would be great if they offered some simple food, like fries or tots.

I had their brut IPA which I thought was good. A good patio space and an interesting set up where the food truck is really just their cobranded kitchen. Not psyched that the online draft list was different than what was actually in tap when I showed up.

I'm generally a fan of H24 beer, but I just can't help but lament that they're not using the space or location to it's full potential. The patio facing the mountain range beyond the open space of the airport just begs you to kick back and enjoy a beer while watching tiny planes coast by as the sun sets, but in reality it's such a small space with such limited and uncomfortable seating that I end up feeling more like I'm cramped in a cage next to the street with loud music blaring. The beer is good; the environment needs some work.

Not my favorite brewery in town, but still good! They have a few beers that are really good, but everyone tastes are a bit different so you'll have to go and find out. Atmosphere is much more of a party scene that many other breweries and had more of a bar feel to it, which will appeal to many people. For as big as they are the location still seems small and crowded. But we'll be back again.

Great experience enjoying a Chocolate Porter or a Kirschen (Berlinner Weiss, sour wheat ale) while watching small planes performing takeoff and landing at the airport across the street. Parking on the small lot, street, or huge dirt lot was easy. Some seating inside and on the large patio outside. Friendly fellow beer connoisseurs is always a plus!

Beer is great. Food is good....carne asada tacos is more like salt tacos...

The root beer isn't bad. Parking is mostly dirt. Locals love the beer. Live music and local events are great. Not much to do other than drink and socialize.

Horrible place when they first started growler refills were 10$ now that they have more people coming by they want to rip u off and charge 30 plus and a growler is equivalent to 5 and a half beers 30 bucks for a six!!!!!!!..

Trivia night every Thursday at 7. Won second got a $15 gift card for.... Hanger 24! Cant go wrong!

Beers and an airport, craft brewery with a patio dog friendly. No food unless a truck or something special event. Great beers and sometimes food. Dog friendly, cable tv with sports and outdoor patio facing the airport.

The location is friendly, but I don't quite get the buzz about their beers. Fancy beers, no true authentic beers

Staff have always been great & beer excellent. Unfortunately, I currently have a bad knee, that makes walking painful & will need to be replaced. I just went to have a growler refilled, found that the handicapped parking was barricaded off, handicapped parking was moved farther away, & food truck staff wouldn't allow me to walk directly into the business. They instead had me walk around to the opposite side of the building in order to enter, a painful experience. Not pleased.

Really quality beers and a fun atmosphere. Just wish they had food
