Just wanted to mention that it was a wonderful experience to have my furniture donation picked up by Habitat. The best part was how professional JAMIE and RYAN were during the moving of the furniture pieces. So pleasant and polite. I give them a 20 out of 10!!!!!!!!!!!!! Would highly recommend this great service to any family, friends or neighbors requiring help. I am proudly displaying a lawn sign to help spread the good news. Thank you very much.
Fantastic place to buy and donate furniture! But that s only a part of what they have, kitchen counters, sinks, light fixtures. Don t alway find what you re looking for but there s some beautiful peace s that deserves a second home.
Ryan and Mitchell were real polite, respectful and efficient when they were here picking up furniture! Real grateful for their kind service! Thanks Ryan! Thanks Mitchell.
Love working here, everyone is so great and the atmosphere is very welcoming!
I love this place. Great staff, amazing finds, and it's all for a good cause.
Go frequently, the turnover rate is bananas!
Want to give a huge shout out to the Mississauga-Halton Habitat for Humanity team. We had a scheduled pick up for a large amount of furniture and other items to donate. Austin and Jamie showed up on a very rainy Thursday and brought the sunshine with them energized, positive and happy to make this very easy for us. We were not sure everything would fit in the big truck they had, but they were working hard to fit it all in, and would come back for a 2nd load if they needed to.
Daniel, Al and Thunder also an amazing crew just happened to be passing and stopped not only to say hello, but jumped out to pitch in with moving and loading, and offered additional room in their truck.
Brilliant job all round. Such a positive experience!!
A nice project for humanitarian fund raising and a place to get a variety of items.
have found some great deals here on home reno items
Inventory ranges from new and used items donated by the public and local businesses. I have been able to find many useful items here over the years. All of the proceeds go towards a great cause which provides affordable housing to those in need within the community. Prices range from high to reasonable, depending on the item. Staff are always willing to lend a helping hand.
Some really handy items and in good shape too. Towards the end of the day you can tell the staff is antsy.
Andrew at the front desk is a lovely, sincere, knowledgeable and kind young man and is such a pleasure to deal with (CEO sensibilities and a bright future ahead).
Well-run and fully stocked location with a variety of predominantly new gift and decor items, endless paint options and furniture, doors, beds, windows and appliances! Some truly great donations come through this place and now they have a clothing section to boot!
A lot of donated items cost more here than at Homedepot
Amazing place, the furniture, light fixtures, kitchen cupboards and accessories are outstanding. So don't come here, I want it all for myself
Sure they have good "intentions " but let me tell u... the prices are stupid high. If you would like to donate please do it online. There are a lot of great fb groups with ppl in need in them. Like I'm not even kidding there prices are ridiculous. Also there staff all seems a bit off. Also the things they donate are just the cap they can't sell for years it sits there. They aren't what u hoped they were. So online like I said.
One of my favorite stores. Good deals. Well organized.
If you want great deals on items and like to help your community by purchasing the goods, then this is a good place to get some deals.
You never know what you'll find.
I scheduled a furniture donation/pickup from Halton Habitat. I give this service a top rating. The two gentlemen, Mitchell and Chris, were polite, friendly and efficient. They worked together as a team with great communication to move some very unwieldy and heavy pieces of furniture from my second floor without a bump or a scratch. If you have stuff to donate don't hesitate to call them!
Mitchel, Chris and Derek, were pleasant, helpful and very efficient. Thank you gentlemen!
I cut my hand accidentally while shopping here last saturday and since the bleeding did not stop I approached the staff to get first aid. I was sent to an area at the back of the store where my injury was attended to.
On my way back to the main store area I was accosted by a grouchy old bearded man with glasses who very rudely asked me what do you think you're doing here in an accusatory manner. When I explained to him that I was injured while shopping, he didn't even bother to apologize for his rude accusatory manner of talking or ask if i'm okay- SHAMEFUL behavior for someone working at a place like this. Perhaps he should learn from his younger colleagues how to politely address customers or better still chose another occupation instead of tarnishing the reputation of habitat for humanity burlington
I love this place. People are very nice and I could find something brand new in very good places.
The hours are too narrow for people who work during the week. You would think if you want donations you could make it easier by being open. We wind up taking our stuff to Value village which we prefer not to but they are open and treat the customer well. Might be something to think about.
Sarah the store manager was very friendly, curtious, very helpful, and I will return to the restore because of her !!
It was one of the best stores, I don t know what happened in their pricing management system that their price sometimes is more than new material stores
wide select of good used products. it is always a surprise what i find there
Great service, great items. Love supporting a good cause and saving money in the process. We have donated and purchased many things here over the years. Why throw it out if its in great shape and can be used b someone else. A great community organization run by great community people, go Burlington!!
I am very disappointed with the Burlington ReStore. They have clearly strayed away from their original mandate of focusing on building materials, furniture, etc. Instead it now looks like a tacky thrift store, but with much higher prices. (The furniture pricing is particularly out of wack.) Clothing seems to have replaced the kitchen cupboards that used to be plentiful. Who goes to a ReStore to buy clothes? Seems a bit unfair they are wading into this market, which many other thrift stores rely on for revenue, rather than sticking to their niche. Sadly I doubt I will return.
This place is incredible. If you haven't visited, stop in. The deals they have are incredible and it all goes to a good cause. They had an extra 20 or 30 percent off last time I was there if you took the furniture you bought right away (they were getting full and needed space). I'll be checking back here often since I'm moving to a new house, lots of opportunity to find pieces that range from kitchen cabinets to furniture, to lighting and even small trinkets and dinnerware.
My favorite location, best picks and best selection in Gta
Good place to find odds and ends while supporting a good cause
Can find some great stuff here I thought it was a bit pricey though
Nice helpful staff, all volunteers there, impressive
Best place ever. With the loss of the reuse centre Restore fills in just perfectly. Construction materials, furniture, lighting, hell even clothing, it's an amazing mix of everything. I'm heading to to the Hamilton one right now looking for trim as this place only as this odd right angle trim.
Either way you can buy a cute light pendant, and turn it into a lovely table lamp for under $20. It's a gem.
You never know what treasures you will find. All prices are tax free.
Over priced. Most of the items in the store appear to have come from someone's old barn.
Best place to go for just about anything you need. Very low prices and No Tax as it is a Charity. I Love HFH ReStore
Prices are ridiculous! They get it for free and then charge insane prices. I used to love this store, now not so much. Too bad, its a great charity. Too bad they got greedy.
Great place to pick up replacement light fixtures, door knobs and lots of other home fix it stuff. Prices on some items are kind of high, so you have to know what things retail for.
They have re-organized since I was there last! Money goes to a good cause! A variety of household and books!
Store is big but as compared to other restore i found them expensive.
This organization is doing a TREMENDOUS job finding ways to reuse or assist those in need. Also those creative minds that can repurpose, re-paint and re-imagine another person's old furnishings etc. The staff work tirelessly and in the heat and humidity outsude today, I respect them even more. Thank you. We donated a couch and matching chair. A separate armed chair and two large square end tables. All in reasonable condition, dated but far from end of life for someone.
A huge effort by selfless volunteers offering reused items from table settings to couches and other household items. Even pianos... at dirt cheap prices...
Great place for kitchens or used furniture, windows and doors. Prices seem to be going up, does not seem to be as many deals as I used to get but could be my imagination.
5 stars for their good intensions. Selection is limited. Inventory does not change much. No electrical supplies to speak of.
A lot of donated decor and furniture at fantastic prices. Most of it is in good shape. Great if you can find something to your tastes. A little slim on parking, however. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.
Very over priced especially staff that the get for free
This is my go to store, you never know what you will find, great staff with great products.
Called the location earlier in the day to confirm their hours of operation as we had some high-end laminate to donate. Was told that they are open till 6pm. I showed up at 5:20pm only to find the donation area locked up and closed. Flagged down an employee who worked in the drop-off area and was told they close the drop-off area at 5pm. Even though I had only 4 boxes of laminate which would have taken 30 seconds to unload they refused.
Drove to Value Village and they were very excited to take the flooring. Definitely the last time I am supporting Habitat for Humanity. Seems like they dont need free stuff anymore. Loss for them, win for Value Village I guess.
Great store
Amazing and very helpful staff
I enjoy shopping there
Thank you for everything
Friendly staff. Good merch. Great deals. I got a solid bookshelf for $20 and it looks fantastic. Plus the money goes to a good cause. Will definitely shop there again. Have already recommended to my friends.
Awesome local charity changing lives in our backyard. Great place to volunteer and gain experience or donate to make a difference.
Good selection but a little overpriced sometimes. Helpful volunteer staff. Parking is good.
Hey it's a charitable organization so thumbs up to that!
We had to completely clear out my father's house so we contacted Habitat. There were quite a few items and we submitted photos, but we wondered if some of them were of acceptable quality. Mitchell, Connor and Chris handled the pickup and we found them very professional. They explained their process and evaluated everything we had hoped to donate. There were a couple of items they couldn't accept (beds, mattresses) but they explained why and we understood their reasoning. They showed a lot of care for the walls and the floors when they were moving things and they worked fairly fast. All in all, a good experience. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again in the future.
Always new and interesting items for purchase. Friendly Staff !
An overpriced rummage sale.
I'm guessing that the CEO draws down heavily.
It's a long way from what once was.
You can find good used stuff if you check regularly. Nice condition and affordable
Jamie and Austin delivered an island with a solid Cambria countertop to my studio. EXCELLENT professional service. Friendly, courteous and strong! Pieces to the island all neatly placed in a drawer.
The staff and volunteers are amazing at this location. In the last while they have made some big changes with how they put stuff out. I love the way it looks , Everything is so easy to find and displayed nicely. I'm actually going there more often now
Great selection...reasonable pricing. Friendly staff. Always find new items that we need.
Very impressed with Jamie and Cameron who picked up our items today.
Called to say they were on the way to give us a heads up and were professional and courteous.
Great place to go for a mooch if your looking for home appliances, lights, decor, paints, anything really you can find some excellent deals and the staff are helpful and friendly.
Great everything for house or cottage 25 cents on $ or less. Amazing a must visit
Great place to buy material and totally support the cause
There is a lot of stuff in this store, you have to know what you want and willing to have parts missing.
They always have good variety of things in this store

Since its inception in 1999, Habitat HM has built over 30 homes across Halton Region (which includes Burlington Oakville Milton & Halton Hills) providing safe shelter for more than 100 people including children who now have stable homes where they can grow up healthy & happy.
In addition to building homes locally within our community ,Habitat HM also supports international projects through tithing - donating ten percent (10%)of all unrestricted donations received by our affiliate office directly towards supporting global initiatives such as disaster relief efforts or long-term development projects around the world.
