Folksam Review

Never call back or inform you about the standings in damage cases to me and when you call nobody is really reachable who can help you..

I have only had good experience with Folksam, no hassle.

I don't have much money but still I pay an insurance every month, my headphones that were stolen do not want Folksam now for some reason. Receipt bank statement ALL material is sent to Folksam just as everyone else says so I DO NOT advise you to believe these people.

I have received the help I needed quickly and smoothly every time I needed from Folksam.

I had a bike that cost 50,000 insured with them and when I was to cancel the insurance they had already removed the insurance so the bike was uninsured for several months

Have had Trygg-Hansa before, super happy with them. Switched to Folksam due to good price through the union. WHAT A MISTAKE! Never gets help. Have a lump in my stomach every time I have to call them. You pay, but as soon as you need their help, they try to get someone to say what they want to hear through leading questions in order to avoid compensation. Now I am stuck with them due to my children and their illnesses. DO NOT recommend "Folkskam" to anyone. Select Trygg-Hansa.

Folkskam -Seko membership insurance is a scam insurance. It should apply to members' free time to earn .....

As a customer, you always have the unlimited right to pay the premium. If you have not read the fine print then you are grounded.

Have Home, Car, 2 cats and savings with Folksam as well as some insurance through the job on me and my partner. Has not been a hassle with neither home nor car this far, everything floats on, compensation is paid according to current conditions and always nice response no matter how stupid questions I ask.

Then it helps that you are a little familiar with how the insurance works and what it covers so that you do not go around expecting gold and green forests that many seem to do!

Some are unpleasant about their customer service and screaming. I had to call a few times because they didn't listen to me and put the wrong date on the insurance. The last time I called a guy screamed, "I don't understand why you're calling again." I have received an incorrect invoice on home insurance in Kivra and dare hardly call them again. I am a doctor myself and have never treated me that way with my patients.

Yes I think they are very good in a way they are very fast and efficient in accident cases, although they work with standard amounts and unlike some others, the two wait instead of a year before they pay for unsightly scars but they are light and very flexible to have and deal with.
I would definitely recommend them!

Their health insurance is not recommended as I took through the union .. Lots of complicated rules that one must have 3 free months without illness for it to apply .. Folksam is not recommended. When I call that Jah is sick they say I get no compensation because of it. Although I have had their insurance since June 1st. A joke company that I would definitely not recommend if you are wondering about my opinion. I am disappointed in the people and will change insurance companies.

Bloody cheaters! It would not kill you to notify a client via SMS/call/email that the insurance is running out, and put your invoices at 30 days instead of 12 :( while we were having vacation, you sent us an invoice that we did not see before it was late, as we were not in Sweden, which resulted in a huge fine for 13 days of having our car without insurance! Bad Folksam, bad!

Warning entrepreneurs!

We have had Folksam as an insurance company for many years. For unknown reasons, our insurance expires without our knowledge.

By accident, this is stated by our economist as we have not received an invoice for the current period.

Folksam responsible person for corporate insurance declares that they annually review different occupational groups and inform the insurance by mail.

We asked for a feedback about why we became insured and why we did not receive this information by mail email or phone. No one has heard yet, despite talking to the responsible person for the department who personally promised to return.

First they removed you but then I got good compensation

I have had Folksam for several years, why do I not know when they from the beginning limited my accident insurance for no reason and just said unfortunately.

Now in April I finally switched insurance company and then noticed that it was extremely difficult to terminate Folksam's insurance, since I have now been allowed to cancel all insurance policies 3 times since April 2019. Great fun with telephone queue, customer service that does not understand "terminates all insurance policies with is, "does not inform that some insurance can not be removed over the phone and that some aunt tried to explain me but it was in fact she who did not understand (again) that I do not want anything from you at Folksam.

Folksam has made money as a pheasant from me all its years. I cannot recommend this company because they stare as hell as soon as you hear from them, and do not want to hear what you say and contradict with bullshit.

Maybe the worst Insurrance company in the world! You may not be able to the get your money on damage at all.

When I send them an email about buying insurance, they will quickly reply in minutes. But when I want to report damage cost such as the cost rental car during car repairing. There is no way to upload receipts like other insurance companies, and no way to report the cost at all. When I send them any email or submit a question form from the web-site for reporting the damage cost, they never replied. I have sent over 10 emails or message through both email client and website, never get replied. When I call them for reimbursement, they always immediately transfer me into a long que waiting (seems no one answer at all in that waiting queue. Once, I put my phone aside and wait for more than 3 hours, still 68 in queue). They just don't give client the way to report damages properly. So you may never get you money of damage cost back according to the insurance contract then.

WARNING: YOU WILL BE DAMAGED AND WITHOUT COMPENSATION WHEN IT WELL MELTS !!!!
Have been a member and had the very largest insurance packages you can have on EVERYTHING with them since 9 years back without asking for a penny. Once I was robbed in June of pocket thieves on presents from my backpack, I had to send in pictures, receipts, police reports, written / oral descriptions MORE times. They were so cheeky that they sent an insurance niche / "investigator" to interview me outside my job in a car for almost 1h, pretend police? They went so far that they visited the stores where I bought the presents. I provided all the information / receipts they needed without any problems. Still, the manager calls and says completely absurd things like "it's totally unlikely", "it's not likely you didn't notice" "we doubt it really went that way" "we think it sounds really weird". They did not find a single piece of evidence that I was trying to pull an "insurance fraud" as they so nicely call it. Still, after 7 months of humiliation, I became unpaid with this pro-criminal company. Choose another company, here you throw your money in the lake!

UPDATE: Also refuses to compensate me for my knee injury which I have paper from the doctor after a sick car accident. Hired Insurello but it didn't help as folksam lawyers are crazy good at finding loopholes in their A4 pages they send you home when you take out insurance.
Also bought a car recently and the company had a good deal with Folksam. Folksam denied me the benefit insurance ... why? They get bullied when they have to face justice !!

Tried to get in touch with private counsel who happened to dribble away my case. Several attempts, the last of which meant 1 hour 30 minutes in line with the promise of a return. Of course, that has not happened. Lousy.

I was just in contact with a manager on the "customer care group thing". You want to increase my home insurance by just over 16% (!) And refer to the new subscription discount only for 1 year. However, this "discount" is not specified in the insurance policy, which is a bit strange. I vainly point out during the conversation that:
Several costly modernizations have been made in the villa during the year which reduces the risk of damage
We, as policyholders, have never suffered any damage
The crime of villas in my municipality is decreasing and we have started neighboring the street

This means that Folksam rewards with a price increase of just over 16%.

My interpretation is that Folksam is engaged in farmer prison. In the first year, the premium is discounted (but unspecified sum!) And then sharply increased. It is generally known that Swedes have a tradition of not wanting to be uncomfortable and also swallows ocher raises without blinking. And those who oppose signing are so few in number that the effort pays off on the last line.

I also tried to reach a compromise, but the message was clearly "swallow the increase or cancel the insurance". It is also worth noting that the manager lost his temper during the conversation and started scolding me for notes. I as a customer had to ask her to think about the tone. I have never been in anything like this throughout my adult life.

Is very satisfied with the service and the insurance once you arrive but completely unacceptable not being able to be handled when calling 55 minutes before closing.

I got help with our computer that broke! Incredibly good customer service! Nice and helpful and above all it was super smooth !!! Received compensation the same day! Sooooo happy with PEOPLE and will never switch to any other insurance company!
