Great tour - both day and night. Friendly and good service!

Nice ride through the streets of Paris. Guide recognized will fitting the bikes that one of my daughters was very nervous and suggested a tandum. Was a fantastic experience.

I would give this company zero if I could since they ruined my trip to the Eiffel Tower,

Anyone reading this and planning a trip to see the Eiffel Tower should read this.

I finally had the means to take my family on a European vacation, one of the biggest highlights was going to the top of the Eiffel Tower summit. Unfortunately Fat Tire tours was the only tickets I could find (way over priced) you can get tickets straight from Eiffel Tower web site for half the price, anyways do your homework. We had a few days before our tour date so I emailed them and asked about parking since I was driving a rental car. Since they already had my money the had no reason to help me out and give me any information about the parking situation. The day we arrived to go on the tour we arrived about 20 min early due to traffic. I drove around and around looking for a spot with no luck. We pulled up so my wife and twin 10 year old girls could get out and see if we could get some assistance from the people at Fat Tire Tours. The guy just pointed his finger and said go down the stree and there will be parking. I drove and drove with no luck. Finally I went back and had to tell my family to go without me so I wouldn't hold up the tour. (What a total let down) so while my wife was on the tour the tour guide told her she wasn't really sure if there was parking but heard that there was. What a joke!!! Sendng me somewhere they didn't even know if there was parking!
I then after a day of disappointment emailed Fat Tire Tours and let them know how I felt and the situation. All they had to say is it was my fault and that I should have known the parking situation. WTH!! I'm from the states and I emailed the people who run a second rate tour company to get the info without any luck. F*$Kers.

Anyways I know people read these so if anyone wants to help me make a statement and avoid this company and spread the word with your friends it would be much appreciated.
If you are looking for a bike tour use this comany they were half the price of Fat Tire

Bike About Tours, they were great and cost about $25 per person for 3 hour bike tour.

Best tours we have ever taken. The guides were engaging and knowledgable. We did the Monet's Garden tour and the Night Bike Tour.
Amazing!

Eugenia was amazing. SO fun and energetic and SO knowledgeable. Even fixed my tire during lunch and had great locals recommendations for Paris and even Milan.

Definitely needs to be conducting the Louvre Tours post-haste.

My husband and I traveled to three countries in Europe and both wholeheartedly agree that our Fat Tire Night Bike Tour was our favorite experience. The tour was fun, safe, and in our opinion the best way for an English-speaker to see Paris light up and come alive at night. Would recommend to anyone in the area and would love to try other Fat Tire tours in the future.

Enjoyed the Versaille Tour immensely. Took my 7 year old daughter with me and she was able to enjoy this day no issues. We had a lot of rain the day we went and a testament to the tour, still had a brilliant day. Highly recommend! Dress appropriately for weather, there were some cold looking people!

The famous skip-the-line ticket for the Eiffel Tower is a scam !!! It is exactly the same as booking on the Eiffel Tower site! First on the agency's website they write that it is a promotion at 19 euros per ticket then when paying it goes to 39 euros per ticket !! We ask you to arrive at the travel agency 15 min before the appointment time to finally wait and arrive 45 min after at the Eiffel Tower! And then you think you will double everyone With your "skip the line" ticket (which you paid 39 euros instead of 11 euros on the Eiffel Tower site!) And well NO !! You line up like everyone else !!!

Do not buy tickets through this company. Booked tickets for Louvre, showed up on time with confirmation and was told by a completely incompetent person checking people in that 'sorry, I don't have you on my list so you aren't on the tour.' Well, when I have all the confirmation emails, proof of payment, etc.. that answer is simply not acceptable. When speaking to the manager I was also told, 'we understand you paid and have a confirmation email, but you aren't going on the tour.' After refusing to take this as an answer, access was finally given. The girl even made a comment about how the worst part of her job is telling people who show up with confirmations that they don't have them on the list. So this happens on a regular basis?! If you want security when booking tours on your Paris holiday, do not book this company. Complete frauds.

Wonderful tour company in Paris offering english language visits with many skip-the-line options to seeing some of the best sights in Paris, which if you're here on a short visit, can be incredibly helpful. Also, if you get a chance to ride a bike around Paris, I think you definitely should. Very nice staff, easy to follow and the rides aren't difficult

Th Paris day tour does not get close to anything, offers very little historical details, bikes through heavy traffic such as traffic loops, and makes a hour long stop for lunch at a way over priced cafe. Bike ride is not safe, especially for kids or anyone not used to sharing the road in insanely high traffic areas of Paris.

Ok so this is a really hard one for me.

Let me start with the things I really didn't like;
First and this was a biggy for me, I couldn't book any of this through an independent travel agent. These tours are premium priced and I can't believe that as a service they could not be booked in conjunction with my other tours & plans. So that added to the stress.
I found some of the tour dates to be VERY restrictive too. More on this later.
One of the tours had instructions that indicated I was in the correct place, however it was incredibly hard to find

Ok so for the good;
The guides generally were great. Very knowledgable & genuine in their understanding of the city.
Generally the tours are fairly in depth. You can also book serval different tours and always learn new things in new areas.
I ended up getting to Paris late and couldn't make my first evening ride. They kindly offered to exchange the booking for another tour. However I believe they could still be more flexible on the cancelation policy.

Again it was a difficult choice to give it this mark, it's actually on the higher side of two stars, but it wasn't up to my expectations. This being said, the staff were great

This company is so thin skinned that they can't take any criticism. The had some nice commercials on youtube. Then I started seeing them more frequently. Then it was evey five minutes. I get it you're advertising. There is a limit to my patience. I dont want to be inundated with your company. Lol they blocked my comment on youtube.

I've done the Paris night tour, the Versailles tour, and the Bloir tour. All were fantastic with knowledgeable and entertaining guides. This is a must do Paris activity for those visiting for the first time, or for those who are revisiting and want a little more adventure.

Ask for Tom, he was very knowledgeable, funny and overall did a great job.

Great tour guide and it was just the right amount of history. Not too much and not too little. Just enough to appreciate what we're looking at. Will recommend to all.

This really was the highlight of my tour in Paris! I always recommend my friends to try the segway. We did it late afternoon / night time which allowed us to see Paris in day and night. What a beauty, I am still amazed looking at the pictures. Tour guide was excellent, even though it was his very last day.

Had a wonderful experience pre-tour and during. We had significant flight delays and they kindly helped us to rearrange our schedule without complaint. We did the Versailles VIP bike tour, night bike and river cruise tour, wine and cheese lunch, and Notre Dame & Saint Chapelle tour. I would do it ALL all over again! Great tour guides and great company. Thank you for making our first Paris trip unforgettable!

Our guide Sergey was really good! He made sure everyone was comfortable and safe throughout. He seemed energetic in explaining us the history of the sites we visited. As a segway connoisseur, I'd highly recommend this tour company.

We took the bike to Giverny tour. There was almost no actual biking (something like 6 miles total), the picnic was just kind of a filler for time, and Monet's garden, while beautiful, was entirely overcrowded. For a very low energy tour it would be fine, but not what I expected.

My friend and I did 3 Fat Tire tours in Paris. The City tour was fantastic - made more so by our guide Uttata(apologies if spelling is wrong)- she was a fantastic bundle of energy, passion and knowledge and steered the group well accross major roads and intersections. The 2nd trip to Giverny also fantastic - Kit was our guide and was passionate and knowledgeable about Art history, The market in Vernon where we bought our lunch supplies was fantastic and cheap. Ham to die for!! And having the picnic lunch on the river bank with swans floating around the waters edge was briliant. Also highly recommended.
Our 3rd trip was to Versailles and while enjoyable, our experience was not quite as good as the 2 previous trips. Our guide was knowledgeable and fun, but not as skilled in managing the group when riding, or giving clear instructions on the road.
Would recommend you try a tour - fun, safe, and much much better than an impersonal tour bus with 40+ people.

Loved our Fat Tire tours! We did the Day/Night combo. Only thing keeping this from a five star review is that it felt like our group was a tad large for riding around Paris as a unit. Our Day tour also had kids on it, (6-10 years old) which was FINE, but as an adult it gets old listening to the interruptions of kids. Would rather them do "family rides" for kids. Other than that, the guides are excellent and the ride is easy!

Ask for Jon to be your tour guide, he was very knowledgeable on every topic at every stop along our tour, I did this bike tour on Saturday night 11 of May after a day of rain. It made the whole day worth day worth it!

Awesome tour. Really enjoyed visiting all the main spots in Paris. I was surprised at how much they covered.

We did three tours with fat tire this trip, a walking tour of Montmartre, a walking tour of Sainte Chapelle and Notre Dame and the Versailles bike tour. The waking tours were both great and super informative, we learned a LOT. Great views from the towers at Notre Dame. A word of caution about the bike tour, it was intense. If you haven't ridden a bike in the last 5 years take one for a few mile spin to brush up. You will be riding over cobblestone/ uneven and unpaved areas and you will be in the road with traffic. Im glad I wore a work out outfit because it was a workout. That being said it was a beautiful way to see the gardens and we had a wonderful time on the tour, we saw and learned way more than we could have just doing it on our own. Our guides on all three tours were really fabulous. Highly recommend any tours from them! Wish you could buy shirts online because we had to walk all the way to their office.

Great, did the night tour which included wine and a boat tour. A little pricey but was a good way to learn the biking rules in the city. After this, we rented the bikes that are all over the city and it was wonderful.

Was recommended this by some work colleagues. We did the night tour which was fantastic and a beautiful way to see the city. Our guide was Justin, an American from Colorado who really knew his stuff.

Did the night tour of Paris, really enjoyable tour. Our guide, George, was brilliant and made the night. Great way to see Paris. Plus there's wine!
Word of caution... The tour keeps you on paths and cycle lanes as much as possible, but you will be riding in traffic and need to be a reasonably competent cyclist. A few of our group weren't - our guide kept everyone safe but you need to have your wits about you in Paris traffic!

This is our fourth Fat Tire Segway tour and they are worth it. Samantha, our English speaking tour guide, was just lovely lovely lovely devine. She showed us some glorious spots near the Eiffel Tower that helped us understand why this city is truly magnificent.

Man, oh man, this tour was a blast! I might be going out on a limb with this statement, but their Effiel Tower River Cruise blew the Effiel Tower experience out of the water!! The tour guide treated the group phenomenally, she was very informative, and the conversations created on the boat were exclusive. It's the best way to purchase a ticket to the Effiel Tower. Nothing can beat sailing the Seine River, at Sunset, while sipping glasses of champenge. It was other-worldly. Thank you, Fat Fire Tours, thank you!

Highly recommend bike tour to Versailles. Best way to understand history and see the place

The view is impressive. However, with the company we went to they charged us 100 and we didn't even go up to floor 3.
Too many security checks.
From Spain they told us that the tickets were covered by the agencies.

Versailles Tour - Great concept but some issues.

To Improve:
Bikes: quality of the bikes, seats good but some brakes didn't work at all, wobbly wheels, bent forks and pedals. Charge more and get higher quality bikes as an option perhaps.

Time: You waste a good 2 hours before you're even on the grounds. And you waste time and stress at the market trying to find a bathroom as you can't go once at Versailles on the tour for a few hours, they could at least work out a deal with someone at the market instead of letting 50 people every morning "just go find one somewhere...".

Ride: Not hard or long at all, flat gravel. Nice ride. Suggest more, we only rode about 3 miles, not the 10 they claim, I checked with GPS.

Group Size: Too big, or VIP tour was 20 folks, thought it would be 5, so we'd go faster and have more options. Don't know how large the regular non-vip tour would be, but probably even worse. Suggest charge more and keep size smaller as an option.

Tour Guides: Great. Knowledgable, helpful, native English speakers. Petite Trianon Hamlet was great and ability to ask questions and get answers, was great. And of course they keep you safe and informed, this is their best asset.

Mgmt: For having done this hundreds of times, I can't imagine how there are still ticket snafus and printed paper lists of who is with whom finding tour guides at Versailles and train/bus info. I'd think that'd be clockwork.

Versailles Palace itself: Overcrowded even WITH skip the line which is an absolute *must*. Shoving tourists, felt like a subway in Tokyo. This is not Fat Tire's fault, French govt should limit attendance to safe / comfortable levels, just saying its totally worth it to do this bike tour and never go IN the palace.

I have taken almost all of the Fat Tire Tours and I cannot say enough great things about it. Our guides were enthusiastic and very knowledgeable and I can't think of a better way to see the city!

Hands down one of the best experiences we had during our time in Paris. It was a relaxing day, guided expertly by our guide Chris. We saw the town, the gardens, the hamlet and more. It was a full day but a good day. We saw more of Versailles than we would have on our own and learned so much while enjoying the journey. Highly recommend Chris, Fat Tire, and the Versailles tour in particular.

Quality bikes and quality guides. Tours are always at a steady pace and with lots of pauses so that guests can catch their breath and enjoy the sights

It was a cold day but we've done 3 segway tours and Paris was by far the best compared to Barcelona and Madrid. Ben was fun and super informative. I felt I had a good grasp of the cities history after all was said and done.

The delivery completely disorganized, a shame that a tourism company delivered the tickets on the sidewalk of their store. A single person spent half an hour making more deliveries, reviewing each voucher making trouble. The boat trip is a waste for what it is worth and the climb to the imposing Eiffel Tower

So fun to bike Versailles. Seeing a little bit of the actual city and their local street market was really fun. That said our guide was only fake-knowledgeable. He told us the "queen's house" at Marie Antoinette's hamlet was a barn. Twice. He also gave a lot of incorrect history throughout the tour (I'm no French history expert but I have taken enough classes and read a big history of Marie Antoinette before going). We didn't spend enough time at the hamlet and didn't get to go into either Trianon which was disappointing. I felt like a little too much time was spent with the guide just talking and not enough time on our own actually seeing things. All in all I'm really glad we saw Versailles this way because I hate crowds and we definitely got away from the crowds plus we got to skip the line when going into the main palace.

Absolutely lovely! Mollie was an incredible tour guide. She was very upbeat, professional, and a great story teller. She kept track of all the participants and safety was her number one priority. I was nervous about biking on the streets with cars but Mollie made it safe and fun. Thank you!

Beware I needed to talk to someone regarding an upcoming tour and called the toll free North America number but when phone bill came it had been routed through the international number at a cost of $48.

Loved our tour with fat tire tours. Our guide was david, he was knowledgeable and fun. Tour took us all around for hours. It was awesome

Super fun and chilled tour around Paris that covered all the main attractions

We did the evening bike tour one of our first nights in Paris and had such a fabulous time. Riding around the Louvre courtyard at night was so much more fun than seeing the inside by day! Our evening ended with a Seine cruise (with wine!) and then we rode over to the Eiffel Tower to the end the night. It was timed so perfectly that we got to be right there at the foot of the Eiffel Tower to witness the hourly twinkling lights. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Paris!

My husband and I have taken 10 tours with Fat Tire, both bike tours and their Classic Walks tours. We cannot say enough about how wonderful the experiences have been. We first took a walking tour of Paris to familiarize ourselves with the city. Next we took the Night Bike Tour--loved going by the Louvre in the still of night and the boat ride (with wine) was fun. The trip to Versailles by bike allows you to see so much more than you would have just visiting the palace. Monet's Gardens were in full bloom. We walked through Montmarte with a guide the first time we were in Paris, and with the information provided by our guide we were able to lead friends on our own walking tour the next we were in the area. While in London we started with a walking tour (at night) along the south bank and stopped for fabulous fish and chips. The Royal Bike Tour the next day took us to totally different places. As you can tell by counting the trips, we book repeat tours with Fat Tire. The experience is wonderful from the booking (on line and in the office) to the knowledge of the guides. These tours can be done by any age and most fitness levels. Try them!

Great tour that allows you to see Paris at Street level instead of being kooked up on public transport. It's just great!

Beautiful, imposing and an incredible view from the second break ... avoid the first break that is protected with bars and the photos go wrong ... climb a staircase and on the second, if you will have the best and most complete view of Paris. Go in the afternoon / evening ... the night view is fantastic and the light show is great.

The night bike tour was the best part of our time in Paris. Cruising around the streets at night is the best way to see the city of light. It also includes a trip by boat down the Seine River, which is perfectly timed to watch the Eiffel Tower sparkling.

A scam they sell you a ticket that is not worth accessing to the top of the Eiffel tower and above you have to wait 1 hour and a half and you pay 4 times more, you only save the queue of the tickets, very poorly organized the climb to the Eiffel Tower

Took the tour to the tower, the guide was very good with lot of information.

It was ! Antoine was very nice and he knew quite a lot about Paris. He was an expert on great places and he spoke French and English for our students. Nickel!
