Fat Fish Sushi Review

The food is good. I'm worried about what the kitchen looks like. I always notice fruit flies when I'm there.

Well their bentonite box was good, their sushi was rather sporty. Lol

Love Fat Fish my husband and I go there often. Great portions for a great price! Our fave picks are pink lady and fortyniners!

After going here for years, I am sad to say I won't be going back. Pictures are of what are supposed to be salmon sushi but the meat has so many different colors of "salmon" meat going on that I don't feel safe eating it. Plenty of other sushi places... Good bye Fat Fish, my first true sushi love.

Have gotten my order wrong twice, but the price and portions have me coming back. First was a regular Philadelphia roll when I ordered a super Philadelphia roll. Yesterday it was getting the all salmon sashimi wrong, then asserting that I got it wrong and charged me an extra dollar. I didn't know the order was wrong until I got home. I was shocked that they got the dollar (actually a dollar ten) and tried to blame me.

Place does look like a Mexican restaurant from outside. Service was good and fast. The sushi itself though didn't quite hit the mark. Rice was not sticky enough and the the Big Cali (deep fried California roll) had a very weird texture: soggy and oily. Super rainbow and pink lady though were very good options. All and all it seems like a hit or miss place.

I ordered a Hawaiian poke salad for $8.95, i was shocked with small size, the container fit in the palm of my hand, just cucumber and 3 small pieces of fish.

Jilliane your review has nothing to do with with the food or of the Fat Fish I have known after three years. Maybe it made you feel better but it was not fair to slam an establishment for the rude behavior of one or two out of dozens of hard-working, pleasant employees.

The sushi is fresh, large portions with quick, efficient and generally friendly service.

The food is pretty good here. It take a long time tho, it s pretty crowded when it s meals times. The service is a hit or miss sometimes the waitress/cashier can be really friendly and sometimes kind of rude, depending on who it is.The inside Could use some redesigning and some deep cleaning. I find it a little odd also how they have their office table with all the paperwork and the lap top right in the entrance of the restaurant, I would recommend them to put it in the back of the restaurant dividing it with a curtain or something of that matter.

I go there often with my family! We all love it, they're kind and the price is not too damaging.

I have been going to the many sushi restaurants recently and found this place to be very underrated if you want a quick bite or a good sit in meal the food here is exquisite. They are also very honest I left my wallet there overnight with over 100 dollars and put a lot of credit cards and they returned it to me the next day.

I've been coming here for years, and it's still the best sushi that I've tasted.

Sushi was good grilled teriyaki play made me throw up and they didn't even refund me anything and just watch me didn't even ask if I wanted any help

A small money and pop Japanese restaurant. Serves the standard fare. The miso soup tastes good, and the Deluxe Bento meal is a really good deal.

So sevice is everything but great food saved this place from getting a lower star rating. Food is very good and fresh. I would recommend eating here. The only thing is i waited till our food came out to ask for my beer. Im used to having it brought to me. She pointed at a fridge. I asked her so what am i supposed to do? She said oh, ill get it. Im still not sure if i was supposed to get my own beer? I really enjoyed the sushi and so did the rest of my party. So, next time i go, ill ask about the beer. Maybe ill update this review at the time. Don't let my review discourage you. Its great sushi.

Fast service, great California rolls,and miso soup.

I ve been eating here since maybe 2014, always amazing food for amazing prices with a great staff. Today on my lunch I forgot my wallet at work and didn t realize till I got there. Instead of walking away without my sushi, they let me take it back to work and call and pay on the phone which saved me such a hassle, very thankful for that.

The food is excellent, and service is great. The dining area does not have A+ cleanliness, however, so if that's not your jam you might want to skip it. Get the Lion King Roll!

My favorite place for sushi..I always order the volcano. The only bad thing is that they bring the food out separately from the other party u go with. So you always have to wait till everyone else gets their food to start eating all together. But the food and service is great. And for a great price.

I eat here at least once a month. Always fast and delicious! I often get food to go and call it in, but the place is nice too.

I honestly can't say nothing negative about this place because I have not eaten here but I have had to pick up food to deliver for a company I worked for they were always very very busy parking lot of super small very difficult to find parking on busy days so I would say if you're a seafood person and enjoy Seafood it might be worth the difficult for parking

This is my favorite sushi place. They are fast . Takes about 10 minutes max after ordering depending if it s busy or not

I haven't been to this place for almost 2 years, but what a disappointment it was this time around. Fat fish used to be relatively cheap with decent quality rolls and OK raw fish, now the quality of their rolls (both the taste and presentation), the rice and fish wouldn't even stick together before it's dipped into soy sauce. We also ordered the fried oyster as our appetizer, and I can honestly say it's one of the worst I have ever seen, the bread crumbs covering the oyster were SO thick and hard. At least the person at the counter who took our orders was nice, that's about the only good thing I can say about this visit and I definitely will not be coming back in a long time.

Love to come to Fat Fish Restaurant, food is delicious my favorite sushi; Tiger roll, Red Lion roll and Crunchy roll and service is very friendly and costumer service is great!

I have been coming to this sushi spot since 2009! Great owner and best sushi I ever had. I have recommended this place to friends and family countless of times. Food is reasonably priced and the sushi is insanely amazing.

Small regular looking place but have very good food sushi

I like this place sushi is ok place is kinda cramped and not nice that the restroom is right in front of your table, like litterally you have to move out the way so they can use the restroom. Also a couple of the time ive been there they have messed up our orders confusing tables orders etc.

The menu has full descriptions and photos are a plus. Clean and family friendly. Very small parking lot when busy.

Great customer service. Everything is fresh and homemade.

This has been my ultimate favorite place to come and sit down or take out.
