My family of four took the Windsor Castle, Bath England, Stonehenge tour. Our guide was Rodney and he was absolutely splendid! He was extremely knowledgeable and made the excursion even better than we thought possible. I would HIGHLY recommend making time for this little get a way in your itinerary.

Great tour overall. Great professional tour guide and pleasant demeanors of staff. Bus was clean and comfortable. Three stops in one day was a bit fast, so if you want to spend more time, choose another tour. Make sure you know exactly where the pick-up point is, it's a rather confusing bus station.
The tour guide and bus driver were awesome. My problem is with the main office. Windsor Castle was closed the day we went, but they had already charged us for the entrance fees. I was notified I'd need to request a refund for the entrance fees, which I did before the tour and was told I'd have to request the refund AFTER the tour. We did the tour, which ended after the office was closed. We left England the next day, so I contacted the office after returning home, and was told I'd have to either physically go into the office to request the refund, or call the offices. Because of where we live, phone calls are expensive and difficult. After my review here, they contacted me and found a way to get the money back to me. The tour was amazing - relaxing, stress free, and informative. Be aware there are hoops to jump through if for some reason you need a refund...
Our guide Katia was superb for our Windsor, Stonehenge, Oxford tour of 29/12/2018. It's a very good guide. We learned a lot of rewarding things. She is very attentive to bus passengers. Only downside, the time spent in different sites is much too short. We could see Stonehenge as 10 minutes, especially facing the horde of tourists and endless queues in queues. It should recalculate their trip and in this case proposed only the visit of 2 sites knowing very well that there will be absolutely no time in one day to visit more. We felt a bit like cattle that are consumed landscapes ... at a relatively affordable price it's true but where we can take little pleasure, see not at all.
I've been on the tour to stonehenge on the 27th of March, and I had a wonderfull time, our guide and the driver steve, were amazing. I was amazed by the effort done by our gide to speach both portuguese and english without leaving any detail off (I'm a native portuguese speaker and I have english as second language). Our guide was very communicative, and sheerfull, she had allways a smile on her face and transmited to all the group a grate vibe and entusiasm. In this trip there was a very rude couple with kids, who were allways disrespectufll to our guide but dispite that she managed to stay strong and keep doing her job with outmost standards, even when this neanderthal family decided to delay their arive to the tour bus by 20 minutes, she was able to get them back with elegance and posture, even after all the insults and disrespectfull comments by their part. I loved each one of the 12hours that the trip lasted, I would do it again and I'll allways search for evens and evens tours. And for our beloved guid I Say
Great day out last visiting Windsor, Stonehenge & Bath! Our guide Rhys was not only a great source of information, but entertaining too! The bus was clean and comfortable, driven smoothly by our driver Tom! Highly recommend this day trip, especially Windsor Castle :D
Not the real customized bus of Harry and you may appreciate to take an other bus too. Don't come back to the bus early because the bus driver doesn't let you coming into the bus. He doesn't care, also if you're cold.
Very efficient company. Online booking system is excellent. Their coaches are very well maintained. Both the tour guide and driver are efficient, polite, courteous and knowledgeable. Value for money. Safe and enjoyable experience.
Went there for the 830 am tour but were told that our tickets were changed to 11am tour. They said we should have received an email with the change from another company. Cannot find that email and why would they change without confirming with us. Now we had to make changes for trains because we are leaving later from London. 11 am tour is packed with a lot more people than the earlier one we should have been on. Didn't get a seat together on the bus to the studio
We spent the day in Oxford, Windsor Castle and Stonehenge. It was a fantastic day with the tour guide Patricia, she provided plenty of interesting facts and stories. We enjoyed the day.
Horrible trip. I paid 248 euros to go to the windsor bath and Stonehenge castle. Only on the bus we learned that Stonehenge on the day of the solstice was closed to the public, so I wonder why sell the tickets? We should have taken an alternative trip to another site we didn't do. Moral of the story. Very little time in the Castle and a bath (not even time to sit down and enjoy a typical meal in the Place that should be a prerogative of every nice trip) and all the Rest of the time on the bus. Money and time wasted, absolutely not recommended !!!!
Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath; what an experience! The staff at Evan Evans Tours really know how to make your tour memorable! The staff greeting you at the coach station are so friendly and the onboard guide, Monica, was absolutely amazing! She took the time to speak with everyone, ensured she explained everything that would be happening so we all knew what to expect throughout the day and she even provided visual aids for those who didn't speak english! Her knowledge of the places we visited, the British Monarchy and their history, and the London transport systems were so impressive and she really knew how to keep it interesting rather than just listing off dates and facts. The tour itself was well organised and really offers a taste of English history. I can't wait for my next tour!
Phil did a pretty bang-on job as our Harry Potter tour guide. I was pleasantly surprised that I learnt not only about the movies, but also alot about London itself. I learnt more about the city on this walking tour than I did on the hop-on-hop-off bus. 100% worth it.
Really great way to see Shakespeare birthplace and Oxford in a day. We went on Boxing Day so the crowds were very light. The buses were clean and comfortable Oliver was a great tour guide.
My son and I did the Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath tour today. It was wonderful! Yes we would have loked a bit more time to explore but it wss a superb taste of a few sites that we wanted to visit. Robert our guide and Michael our coach driver were fabulous. Robert was an excellent, funny and knowledgeable guide . Michael was a superb driver who drove the coach so smoothly. We would love to go on another one of your toursxwith these fabulous people!! Thank you from Vancouver, Canada.
Tour 19 : Blenheim Palace, Downton Abbey Village & the Cotswolds (Classic) - We took this tour on Sunday, Sept 2, 2018. Great tour. The guide was super informative and very personable. This really helped our knowledge of that part of England. One item: the tour guide had wireless headsets for us so he could still be heard giving us information after we were off the bus. We had not experienced this on any previous tours in many parts of the world. It was VERY helpful. I would recommend to all.
Evan is a Great tour company , deliver what they promise , probably the most popular tour company of london. we took the stonehenge bath and windsor tour , the tour was comfortable only thing that hurt was too short time in windsor and too much time in stonehenge , but over all great experience.
Oliver and Graham were wonderful!!! Oliver was knowledgeable and made the experience exciting throughout the day. The Windsor, Stonehenge, and Roman Bath tour is a must if you want to see more of what England has to offer.
We had a great guide Oliver and got to see a lot of London on the tour! Especially loved the visit to Borough Market, just wished we could have made a longer stop there to enjoy a bit of food or likewise. I found, beside the Harry Potter trivia, it was interesting to hear about random bits of history and celebrity trivia related to the city, so keep that up please! Our guide was really what made the tour for us, he had a lot of positive energy. Thanks
The Universal Studios visit felt a bit commercial but still, seeing the intricate work behinde the film production made it worthwile. Maybe amp up the genuineness there.
My husband and I took the Stonehenge Express morning tour leaving from Victoria Coach Station. 2 hours drive out, 1.5 hour at Stonehenge (at least 30 minutes of which was wasted standing in line to take shuttles to take you to/from the stones), 2 hours drive back. No wi-fi available, as had been advertised, and the driver was talking about leaving 2 passengers at Stonehenge at 3 minutes past the time he'd announced we'd depart-- a little extreme, if you ask me. In hindsight, I wish we'd just gone with local transportation so we could have taken more time at Stonehenge and not felt so rushed. I can't imagine what a longer tour would have felt like! The coaches were nice and not having to think about getting to/from were the only upsides.
I had a lovely experience with Evan Evans from the arrival to the couch station to the drop off. All the staff members were very friendly and helpful specially Marielise ( Manager). Tour guide Debra had excellentt knowledge about the places, she was very caring too. All the Tours are well planned and organized by management. Melcome has good driving skills he is the man with a lot of patience. Evan Evans have good variety of tours. Money was well spent.
I choose this tour because it said 'Luxury' and was pretty much all taken care of. I wouldn't have called it luxury. The 'luxury' coach was a bus with curtains and fans and intermittent wifi. Nothing flash. The Evan Evans tours staff were very welcoming however the bus drivers were not. Several people mentioned the rude drivers and theu did tend to be quite aggresive drivers. In future I would probably book my Harry Potter tour on its own and use public transport
Visited "The making of Harry Potter" with Evan Evans Tours and it was AWSOME! I booked the tickets from Sweden and everything worked great! Our guide, David, really made the busride back to Victoria memorable with his humorous fun facts of London. I warmly recomend this travelagency.
My spouse, daughter and grandson thoroughly enjoyed the Windsor Castle - Stonehenge - Bath tour two weeks ago. Our guide, Emily, was not only cute as a button, but very informative, witty and a pleasure to spend 10 hours on a very nice bus with. Our driver, Tom, was excellent altho I did shut my eyes during a couple of NARROW passages. And I'm an old fighter pilot to boot! Emily, your hat is in the mail.
Our travel companion was Claudia and our driver was Mark. The ride was always entertaining and Claudia kept us entertained with interesting facts and stories in typical British humor. The Windsor Castle Stonehenge-Oxford tour was excellent, the schedule was tight indeed, but they had enough to collect good impressions on their objectives time. The atmosphere on the bus was very pleasant and you had the feeling that the travel companion has also made individually concerned about the well-being of their passengers. All in all, a great trip!
I took a trip with my Dad to Warwick Castle, Stratford-upon-Avon and Oxford on September 8, 2019. Our guide was Rhys Thomas and in the driver's seat was Graham. Rhys was outstanding. An engaging orator well versed in the nuances of the trip, he ensured that we did not have any dull moments during the trip. Above all, he knows to care for his customers. He was giving individual attention to our queries. Always ready to help with a smile and ensured that each one of us had a comfortable trip. Rhys knows his job too well. My gratitude to both, Rhys and Graham for ensuring that it's only good memories that I can take back to India.
Our guide was very informative. There was not a question he could not answer. He kept us from being bored on the bus and off. My family really enjoyed the tours and our guide made it for us. He even put my son and I on snotybus when my son got stuck at Windsor Castle. I feel like your company works well as a team and are willing to help out those in need.
Thanks to Oliver for the tour guide, I enjoyed the Harry Potter tour !! Harry Potter movie description as well as a description of the mid-London was better because it was good! It was a great tour to see London attractions in a short time. If you want to experience Harry Potter and London by listening to British accents on a local tour, I recommend it!
Had a great whirlwind tour of Windsor, Bath and the Stonehenge with Oliver as our guide.
Oliver was knowledgeable and entertaining, and definitely knew what he was doing. We managed to skip most of the lines to many of the most popular attractions.
We had plenty of time at each stop, but we left still wanting more.
If you want to visit the most popular sights but don't have the time to spare, I recommend doing the three destination tour to get a taster.
P.S. shoutout to our driver Vinh who managed to get us to each destination swiftly and safely, and even deal with an unwanted bee incursion.
My sister and I went on the Stonehenge, Bath and Windsor tour. The tour guide and the driver were great, they were punctual, friendly, professional and nice! The driver was also very proactive (we took this tour on a day when Stonehenge was closed due to celebrations, hence all the roads leading to it were closed), however the driver decided to show us Stonehenge anyways, so he took a different road and we managed to take pictures of Stonehenge anyways. The tour guide was also very helpful (e.g. she suggested taking off the bus at a certain point in order to avoid evening traffic and save the time). The only disadvantage of the tour is the lack of time, since all the places are so awesome that all of them are worth staying at least for a day. We really enjoyed our time! Thank you, Evan Evans Tours!!
Went to the Harry Potter studios. Great service and short wait times. The guide on the trip back to London made a little extra out of the trip with good English humor.
Loved the tour. Would go on it again in a heart beat. The tour guide was amazing and very informative. We were picked up at the Double Tree in Kensington and were actually dropped off close to the underground station. Out of all the tours we went on this was our favorite. Had enough time to visit each thoroughly. Would have liked more time in bath. Mainly because we enjoyed Bath so much. Coach was great and had wifi.
We took a tour of Bath and Stonehenge on 10/9/19 with Cosette, who epitomized dry British humor in the best way possible!
The bus is comfortable, and we had about 2-3 hours to visit Bath, including the Roman bath museum, and an hour to visit Stonehenge. The timing was perfect, given the 2hr bus ride from London and small locations.
The sights were great and our guide made the drive incredibly enjoyable. Thanks Cosette!
Tour of Windsor Castle, Bath, and Stonehenge. Our tour guide Chris, and driver Mark were both amazing. Chris was full of lots of information that was super helpful and interesting to hear, his jokes and humor really helped the long rides go by nicely. The bus was comfortable, water was available for purchase on the bus, no bus bathroom but plenty of opportunity to use one at the 3 stops. Definitely a company I d consider using again in the future.
We had Reece take us on this walking tour and he honestly made it so fun and interesting - it was a tour of London for Harry Potter fans and we loved it! Highly recommend. Thanks Reece!
This people won't allow you to have hot drinks like coffee with you at the bus it's dangerous they said! Obviously you are three years old and you can't handle it!
I did the Windsor, Baths and Stonehenge day tour from London. It was really great, especially if you're short on time. It is a lot for one day though, so be prepared to walk briskly, but you still get to enjoy a good amount of time in each location. My tour guide was Andy and driver was Nikki. They were both really great! Andy is extremely knowledgable and it was so cool that he had worked for the Queen Mother. It was like a cherry on top of the already delicious sundae to listen to his stories!! Learned so much from him!! Even got to see the changing of the guards at Windsor Castle, what an experience!! Definitely recommend Evan Evans Tours. Only thing is the bus didn't have wifi, but not really a big deal for me.
it was a fantastic experience with Evan & Evans travels and tours. They were professional and wonderful. Our tour guide Richard Morrel and Driver Jane was awesome. Richard was outstanding.
Really enjoyed tour of Downtown Abbey, Cotswolds and Blenheim. Our tour guide, Phil, was excellent. He shared many historical facts making the tour more interesting. Phil also shared other important places to visit while in London that I may have missed otherwise. I highly recommend this tour to anyone that is planning to visit to London
We used Evan Evans Tours to take us to Stonehenge. Stonehenge was fantastic, but I will review it later! I wish that the tour bus was longer, we had only two hours to see the Stonehenge, the museum, and the gift shop. We didn't have time to visit the cafeteria, and we had to rush to get to the museum. If you like history, I recommend listening to the guide the bus driver provided. It was a fantastic experience; some people might say that "there are rocks on top of each other what is the point of that?" I would tell you the history and learning about what this place was used for, that's the point. To see it for yourself and not let others tell you, that's is the beauty of art! The driver was amiable and funny!
Our tour guide was an extremely knowledgeable and professional gentleman. The coach was clean and comfortable, and they even left without a full group to allow us to spread out. Lots of information on the way to each site, and free time to roam once we arrived at each destination. Would highly recommend!
I took several tours with Evans Evans and they were all wonderful. The first tour I took was on 9/4 and it was the Leeds Castle, Dover Cliffs, and Canterbury Cathedral tour. I'm really awful with names, but our guide Cecil(?) and our driver James were both excellent. I also took a tour on 9/5 to see Warwick Castle, Stratford upon Avon, the Cotwolds, and Oxford. Our tour guide Chris was excellent and very informative, especially in Oxford! Our bus driver was also wonderful, but I cannot remember his name. I took a trip on 9/9 to the Roman Baths and Stonehenge. John led this tour with Anne(?) our bus driver. Our bus driver was especially wonderful here! Finally, I went on the 9/11 tour combo to St. Paul's, the Tower of London, and Jack the Ripper tour. The tour guide for the first part was lovely, as was our bus driver. The Jack the Ripper tour was again led by John and he did an Amazing job!! Absolutely loved the Jack the Ripper tour he gave and definitely worth it.
We went on a quality tour with Evan Evans of Winsdor Castle, Bath and Stonehenge. Our guide and expert Mel and our driver Steve were both fantastic. Mel was super knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. Steve was a great driver and made sure we didn t feel sick on the curvy roads. Great job to you both!
Our tour guide Chris and our bus driver Mark were both fantastic! Very friendly and informative. We did not get much time at each location due to traveling and waiting in lines. Initial boarding wasn t very organized. Overall a good way to see sites within a day.
My husband and I took a tour of Stonehenge, Windsor, and Oxford. It was a wonderful outing and a definite highlight of our vacation to England. We had Oliver, an affable and informed guide, who stayed with us for the whole day. He told us a ton of historical and cultural tidbits, but also stood back and let us just take it all in for ourselves. Stonehenge was fantastic. Our tour included going into the circle of stones, with only 25 people allowed in at a time, before it was open to the public for the day. It was a magical experience. Thank you Oliver, and thank you as well to our driver Lester! The drive through the countryside was a dreamscape, and then we wound our way through the town of Windsor on our way to the motorway, which was quite interesting, and deftly pulled off by Lester! So, so much fun!!
Great and timely service. Brand new Mercedes coaches and very friendly staff. Absolutely stellar trip with the to the Warner Studios Harry Potter tour.
The tour was great, the guide was very well documented and easy to understand, but the free time allocated in Bath and in Stonehenge was not enough. Maybe half an hour more in each location should've been more relaxing for us.
Wholeheartedly recommend the Oxford, Stonehenge, Windsor castle tour today. Oliver our tour guide and Mark our driver both High quality professionals. Great Day , Good Fun , comfortable and learnt heaps . Thanks again. One of th best I've done.
We took a tour to, Stonehenge, Oxford and Windsor. Oliver was a fantastic tour guide and Mark was a great driver. We had a fantastic day and would highly recommend this tour.
We took a tour of Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath. I was really impressed to see the building on TV with these eyes. I was sorry that the weather was a little bad on that day, and it was very impressive that Mr. Kevin, the bus guide, provided interesting explanations in both English and Japanese. Is it really true about how old villains do salmon? I became curious. The driver Barry was also very kind. On the way home, Kevin booked a restaurant, grumbles, which was very helpful. Thank you so much
This was a little while ago, but my boyfriend and I had the most amazing time on our tour. Our tour guide @rhysthomastours and our driver Bosko were simply amazing. He was so knowledgeable about every place we went to, went above and beyond to give all of us so much information. My boyfriend is not a people person, but loved the tour and all his jokes. We did the Windsor castle, Oxford College, and Stonehenge. So amazing.
The tour included trips to Windsor Castle, Bath and Stonehenge. The whole trip was wonderful with stops for ice cream and such. Our tour guide Oliver was humorous and pleasing to listen to. The driver James was good as well. Our family enjoyed the whole day thoroughly. Highly recommended.
I went on the London In A Day tour with Antony and the Warwick Castle, Stratford-Upon-Avon, and Oxford tour with Claudia and thought both were great! Besides both tours showing a lot of interesting places, Antony and Claudia were both exactly who you'd want to guide you; they were both full of information and able to make facts upon facts fun to listen to. They told history in such a way to get people listening, and knew exactly when to pull in a bit of pop-culture to keep them listening! I'd highly recommend both tours and (regardless of tour) both guides.
I don't know how much I can go in depth about our driver, Joe, but want to thank him too for getting us everywhere safely and on time!
It was great the ride I got with them. It was above the price I would have gotten straight into the studios, but as I bought it at the time, Evans saved me.
Our guide Oliver and driver Lester were extremely polite and professional, they made the experience so much fun! They were also very helpful when a member of the group lost a cellphone, they helped us search for it multiple times. Loved the whole tour!
Our trip was to Windsor, Stonehenge and Oxford. The tour was on time the entire trip, and we had some free time too. We took the bilingual tour with Patricia. The trip was fantastic. We visited the three places mentioned and i couldn't have imagined all the history about the sites we would not have learned this in a book.
Worst customer service EVER. System glitches allowing you to book a tour and they contact you to change dates or cancel. FIX YOUR SYSTEM and work on your customer service! DO NOT RECOMMEND and will not consider booking with them NEVER!
I'm sure the tour I booked would have been great if I could have attended it. Unfortunately, the tour operator (Evans Evans) operates out of the same facility (Victoria Coach Station) as another tour operator (Premier Tours). By some strange coincidence, both operators offer a tour with the same name (Stonehenge/Windsor/Bath), tour number (21), and departure time (8am). The only difference is the gate number. I arrived 30 minutes early to a gate with all the details of the tour I had booked, only for the driver to tell me I was not on his list. He was confused when I showed him the voucher, since it contained identical details to the tour his company offered. It took us both a moment to realize I was at the wrong gate. I literally ran over to the correct gate in 2 minutes, arriving by 8:13 am, but the bus had already left. They didn't even wait 15 minutes. Evans made no attempt to call or find me even though I was just a few gates away. I don't understand why two tour operators would offer identical tours departing from different gates at the same facility and not think this would cause confusion, especially for someone traveling from a different country. Viator reached out to Evans to no resolution. Although they refuse to refund the $150 I spent on the tour, I hope someone from Evans at least sees this post and reviews their procedures. I would hate for this to happen to anyone else. If you are thinking about booking a tour in England, go with Premier and not Evans. Premier at least cares about their customers, and makes an attempt to steer them to the correct departure gate.
Booked 2 tours with Evan and Evans during our most recent London visit. Enjoyed both, though very fast paced. I think they really review their tour guides very carefully based on customers feedback so the tour guides are working very hard to ensure customer satisfaction.
I recently completed the Windsor Castle/Stonehenge/Oxford tour. Sasha was our guide and she did a great job. She was very energetic, informative and funny. Our driver Steve was courteous and professional and went out of his way to add a highlight on the route to Oxford. The Downtown Abbey (Highclere)Castle. Sasha has a passion for guiding and it shows in her preparation and the information she shares. They are punctual and professional to keep the tour moving. The coach was comfortable and has WiFi and USB charging ports. Just finish your coffee before you board in the morning as the company doesn t allow hot drinks on the bus. All in all it is as worthwhile day spent getting outside of London.
Enjoyed the rock & roll tour so much more than I ever expected to. Very interesting. The informative guide knew the history of many bands and musicians and where they recorded, lived and played!
If you have little time to visit some places it is best to take the Stonehenge / Oxford / Windsor Tour. It is a quick but effective tour to know those places. The guide Patricia and the driver Nicholas were very friendly. Patricia proved to have the right knowledge for the situation and management of the group. Nicholas very good driver. I recommend Eva Evans Tours. We hire the Tour in Spanish. Of ten.
My wife and I did a Majestic London Tour (London Full Day Tour) on Sunday May 26th, 2013. It was our first tour on our UK trip. Evan Evans were fantastic, the coach was comfortable, the driver was good but the tour guide, Tony, was trememdous! He was very knowledgeable, took his time, explained everything, got through a lot more than we imagined was possible in a day. I would recommend this tour to everyone, once Tony is on the Bus!
It was great to get to the Tower of London before it was busy! Our tour there was great! Seeing the Crown Jewels was nice -- but, quite busy! Our guide did a great job pointing out restrooms throughout the day and leaving time to visit them.
Very bad direction giving and customer service. Absolutely horrible at helping first time tourists and they give absolutely zero value for money. Will never use this service again. Will not even refund money for the mistakes they have made.
Debby our guide and Paul our driver for the Stonehenge/Salisbury/Bath tour were terrific. Very relaxing and loved the non-stop information and history!
Tour 21! That s one of the best tour Evan Evans. Sasha and driver Barry have been truly amazing, very knowledgeable and very precise! From the beautiful surroundings of Windsor castle Sasha has been such a great tour guide in leading a full coach of 49 people towards the best places Windsor castle Roman baths and Stonehenge! She always highlighted the premium points to as a must-to-see maximizing the time of all group! From funny facts to lovely songs she has showed great professionalism and great skills! Good luck Sasha, I am looking forward to participate to all your next tours! Many thanks! Barry the driver was a very gentleman, very polite courteous and very caring. The sweets and the nice chats were a fantastic 5stars customer service touch! See you soon! Cris
If anyway possible try to get Phil as your tour guide. I have never met anybody more knowledgeable about history than him. Besides his history knowledge he keeps you very engaged and is quite funny. If I ever visit London again I will for sure be trying to book another tour with Phil!!
