Need to get the kids out the house? The ecko center is the place to bring the entire family to learn and have some fun.my kids love this place..just a little to pricey..

Would be a good place for kids. I just went to check out the fish. Nice small museum. Good fish selection.

Great place to take kids. Always a fun time to explore, build and learn while you play. They have a great water table upstairs, where kids can adjust the flow of a river with tiles, go down slides, and play with boats. The innovations area downstairs is alway a treat as it changes every 4 months or so. and brings a new interactive area that kids and adults are able to partake in. The membership brings soo much more as you can use it at over 300+ different museums around the country. My membership has paid for itself over with this feature alone.

This place is pretty neat. Definitely a place to bring kids. Interesting exhibits. Gift shops pretty nice, lots of good gifts. Make sure to step out on the deck. It's got a beautiful view of lake Champlain.

It's okay but seems to leave me always wanting more. The views of Lake Champlain are awesome though!

This place is a pretty good science center. Lots to do and look at and a great place for kids!

Great spot to kill a few hours with the kids on a rainy day, if the skies clear up the views around are amazing.

Very interactive. Take the little one(s) and expect them to play spend a good 2-3 hours easily. Well worth it with the amount of fun we've had.

This is a great place to bring children. Cute little exhibits and very interactive. Who knew just how many local forms of wildlife were living in Lake Champlain?

We love visiting here. We purchase the yearly pass and try to go once monthly when possible.

Great for kids ranging from age 1 to 5. Small exhibits. Nice very of lake champlain.

Some of the new stuff was already broken unfortunately, but over all it was good. Things looked cleaner than the last time we visited too.

Lovely museum to garner interest in conservation in minds of our youth. Hands-on activities and information for all ages. The 3-d movie of the pacific was nicely done!

It's not a full fledged spend the whole day museum but it doesn't need to be. Bring kids. Spend an hour or two. Then walk the waterfront.

We had one day of bad weather while vacationing, but the ECHO Center really turned that around for the kids. Great place for them to have fun while inadvertently learning. 5 Stars

Tons of exhibits and very educational for being so small. Well worth the time!

Small,but well done. We visited for about an hour and a half without seeing any of the 3D movies they have available.

Brought our Grandson. He had such a great time. Spent over 3 hours exploring.

Fun place to go for a family day its 17 dollars for adults and children are 14 but 2 and under are free lots of cool stuff

Imagine if two sea otters had an incestuous relationship.. but they weren t really sea otters. They were the parents of the visibly deformed and excessively pasty man who handed you your admissions ticket to the ECHO Leahy Center bla bla Only Thing to Do in Burlington Aquarium Center. Well that was how we felt. We couldn t eat for eight hours after we went in here. Honestly, it looks like they put some low cost net in a lake and then bought a bunch of fish tanks and trapped the poor animals in a building. Five stars because at least they tried to have something

Very well maintained center. I'm from Boston, so, compared to what I'm used to (museum of science, aquarium), it's very small. But lots of cool things to look at, very good for smaller kids.

A fun place to visit. We are semi local and visit one time a year with the kids. Not alot changes from visit to visit but it's a quality visit none the less. Everyone has to pay for parking now and it can be tight to find a spot.

Great place to see the history and the indigenous species of Lake Champlain. Plus there is an always play ares for kids. It's our go to place in Burlington!

So many hands on things to do here for kids! Friendly staff. Interesting things to learn for adults too including the ecosystem of the Lake Champlain Basin. Great deal on a memberships that gets you into so many places across the Eastern Seaboard. Excellent time here!

Great for tweens and younger. Lots of decent displays. We were there for a couple hours without watching moves. Price is a little high in my mind. But still a fun stop

Luckily, saw on Channel 5, WPTZ, noon news that admission was free, for Martin Luther King's Birthday. Went at 3 p.m. and had a great time! Movie about the Artic, with Victor Garber narrating was excellent, 3D and only 20 minutes long. Sunset was beautiful! Emily, in the gift shop, was very helpful and pleasant.

Amazing I loved it good for all ages especially kids and teens parents will like it. Great area on second floor for younger kids like 5-9 ish depends on interests.

Expected more from the price but still great lots of family fun

We have had a membership here for years and love it. My son always finds new fun things to do and the rotating exhibits are very interactive and entertaining.

This is world class museum geared toward families on the lovely Burlington waterfront. A must do for enthusiasts of the natural world.

I used to rave abour it but AFTER this weekend and the caliber of staff that they now hire I am seriously reconsidering comming back despite having renewed my membership for another year. I have been comming here since Echo opened with my 3 kids and their friends and I left because their staff was so rude they had me in tears.

Great place for the kids. Ours are 7 and 5 and loved it. Lots of interactive displays. A little pricy but very fun.

Love this place and so do the kids!! They never get bored!

The woman taking reservations and the woman at the checkout were lovely. The kids had a great time and so did the adults. I went to see the sturgeon. The kids liked the science exhibits. Either plan ahead by a week or two to reserve your free tickets or just walk up and ask about the wait list. You don't need a very long time to get through most of the building. A spot will open up fairly quickly.

Centre is open till 5 p.m. but coffee shop closes at 4 p.m. Kind of strange.

Echo center is great. The exhibits are very well done. Lots of turtles, interesting fish, and frogs.

Look at this thing! How cool is that? Using the dark arts the projector changes the lighting based off elevation, and jazz hands make it rain, filling depressions with little lakes and rivers.

Great place to take your kids for a couple hours. Lots of activities for kids of all ages. Little pricey though. Discount to VT residents which is good.

We are out-of-towners and we loved the butterfly exhibit and the kid's play area!
